What do "Dukes of Hazzard," "Home Improvement," "Eight is Enough," "Father of the Bride," "Once Upon a Prince," and "Signed, Sealed, Delivered" have in common?

The common thread is this...

Stars from ALL of these TV Shows will star in NEW TV Movie Premieres this Weekend! Details below...

Storyline via INSP: County Line stars Tom Wopat (The Dukes of Hazzard, Longmire, Django Unchained) as Alden Rockwell, a former sheriff who is left with many questions and no answers when his best friend and neighboring county sheriff, Clint Thorne, played by Jeff Fahey (Texas Rising, Justified, Lost, Under the Dome), is brutally gunned down. After the investigation stalls and Alden’s replacement, Sheriff Preston (Grant Goodeve - Eight is Enough, Dynasty, Twin Peaks) turns a blind eye, Alden takes the case into his own hands. Darrow & Darrow:
In the Key of Murder

Storyline via Hallmark: A simple offer of legal advice turns into the biggest challenge of Claire Darrow's (Kimberly Williams-Paisley, "Father of the Bride" and "The Christmas Train") legal career when her new beau, District Attorney Miles Strasberg (Tom Cavanagh, "Ed" and "Trading Christmas"), introduces her to his younger half-sister, Phoebe (MacKenzie Porter, "Guess Who's Coming to Christmas"). A singer who has just completed her first album, Phoebe fears that she may have signed away her rights to... click here to read more...

*This all new Darrow & Darrow mystery also stars Geoff Gustafson, who portrays Norman Dorman in Hallmark's beloved mystery series "Signed, Sealed, Delivered." EARLIER TIME!

*Please Note: I have not previewed these movies above. I do expect there to be some violence included in "County Line" and "Darrow & Darrow: In the Key of Murder." Please check ratings before viewing.

It's amazing how many stars featured in these movies above - came from so many popular television series from yesteryear and today, too. Did you ever watch shows like "Dukes of Hazzard," "Eight is Enough," or "Home Improvement?" I know I've personally watched plenty of these in reruns through the years... the classics always stand the test of time! In fact, there's even been talk of a "Home Improvement" re-boot, (Is that Tim Taylor's grunt I hear?) but we shall see.... there are also rumors of Tim Allen's "Last Man Sanding" coming back, too, so... who knows which TV shows will return again!

Hope you all enjoy these three new movies from these three various channels - this weekend!

Blessings to you all, Net

  1. I LOVED Home Improvement and I have practically seen every episode of that show. BTW, I saw on UP's FB page that reruns of Home Improvement will start airing on that channel starting May 14th.

  2. Grew up watching all the car chase shows like the Dukes, Starsky & Hutch, Knight Rider, and so on. My sister liked Eight is a Enough, but I didn't mind watching with her. This brought back many good memories for me, Net. It's good to see some of these classic stars return to TV. A Dukes of Hazzard reboot would be cool, but I'd also like to see Home Improvement come back, too.
