It's Hallmark Channel's Merry Madness CHRISTMAS Movie Marathon Day... Plus, Happy Birthday Candace Cameron Bure!

Happy Birthday
to Hallmark's Movie Darling...

Candace Cameron Bure!

We so enjoy your Hallmark movies... whether it's a new Aurora Mystery ("Reap What You Sew: An Aurora Teagarden Mystery" is coming April 15th!) or a new Hallmark Christmas Movie... we feel right at home when watching you! Thank you for lighting up our screens with your sweet spirit!

We all receive a gift today on Candace's birthday... a Merry Madness Movie Marathon that ends with Candace's latest Hallmark Channel Christmas movie "Switched for Christmas"!

Unfortunately, inspite of "When Calls the Heart: The Christmas Wishing Tree" movie winning Hallmark's Merry Madness bracket challenge, it will not be airing during the marathon, as was initially announced. I understand the disappointment of Hallmark fans and Hearties, who were eagerly anticipating this re-airing. Thankfully, the WCTH Christmas movie is available on DVD and through on-line streaming.

(A.K.A.: "When Calls the Heart: The Christmas Wishing Tree")

For the Christmas movie marathon today
the Hallmark Channel will be playing...

"A Very Merry Mix Up" ... 2pm/1c.

"A Royal Christmas" ... 4pm/3c.

"A December Bride" ... 6pm/5c.

and "Switched for Christmas" ... 8pm/7c.

Switched for Christmas is not available, yet, on DVD

I must say it is rather interesting that after they decided not to re-air the WCTH Christmas movie, they replaced it with titles like: "A Very Merry Mix-up" and "Switched for Christmas"! How ironic and appropriate!

I do hope all of you who love Christmas movies enjoy this Christmas Movie marathon on the Hallmark Channel today! May it hold you over until Christmas in July comes our way this Summer!

Hallmark recently announced- Hallmark Channel’s Keepsake Christmas Week will run from July 6, 2018 until July 15, 2018. Hallmark Movies & Mysteries Gold Crown Christmas programming block will air from June 29, 2018 to July 8, 2018! Please note: It is possible these dates may change, and at this time, no new Christmas movies are currently planned for July. However, Hallmark officially announced 22 New Christmas Movies will be coming on the Hallmark Channel and 12 New Christmas Movies will be coming on Hallmark Movies & Mysteries ... for the 2018 Christmas Season!!!

With another snowfall coming this weekend in the Midwest... instead of Spring... it's beginning to feel a lot like Christmas... all over again!!!

Merry Christmas in April, Everyone!!! Net

  1. Net, do you know why Daniel Lissing is not in the current episodes of WCTH? I mean, they just got married and Jack is gone again! Is he working on another project? Thanks for this great website!

    1. Yes, it seems Daniel Lissing is busy with other projects, but I know he loves "When Calls the Heart" and it's loyal fans, so I'm hopeful he'll return either this season, or in season 6.
