I always think Hallmark has not gone the way of the world in their movies. Recently I watched one movie about an older couple owning a wedding chapel but they were not married. Am I right?
ReplyDeleteAnonymous, thank you for commenting. The movie you are referring to is "Wedding March," starring Jack Wagner and Josie Bissett. There have been 3 movies previously in this series and a 4th one is on the way in June.
DeleteThe main characters in this movie, Mick and Olivia, were sweethearts when they were young, but circumstances at the time separated them. They have just recently started dating again, and yes, they do both run/own an inn together; however, they always show them living in separate rooms, or cottages, there at the inn. Please be rest assured, nothing improper is ever shown.
Hope this information is helpful to you. Blessings on your day, Net
New info on Garage Sale Mystery!
ReplyDeleteLori Loughlin said on her Instagram that today was the first day shooting GSM #13.
According to https://www.creativebc.com/crbc-services/motion-picture-services/in-production/films.php?type=mow,
its called "GSM: The Mask Murder".
Thank you, H.R.! I, too, was super excited to see the title for one of the next Garage Sale Mystery movies - coming in August!
DeleteI'll be sure and check out Lori's Instagram! Thanks for the tip!

LOVING her white gown......oh so pretty! And who doesn't love a royal pairing?
ReplyDeleteKerry
Oh, me too, Kerry! I love all the little flower petal details! It is so elegant, I'm sure it will be grand on screen, as it looks so beautiful in all the previews they've shown. Can't wait to see and I agree, it's so fun to see another royal couple!

I love Hallmark movies (and I am sure this will not be a popular post) but these story lines are starting to get old. It seems like the same story told slightly different in all of these Royal based movies. I am starting to miss some originality in their movies.
ReplyDeleteI absolutely agree, Alicia. Some of the movie's storylines are very cookie-cutter. It's always nice when there is something unique to a story, that sets it apart from the others. I'm hoping for more of that in coming movies! :)

I'm with you as well Alicia! There's a lot of repetition especially when it comes to royal movies. They pretty much change the detail slightly and make a whole new movie with it. Originality along with chemistry are both something important to me when I watch a Hallmark movie and I'm hoping for more of that in the coming movies.
DeleteI wholeheartedly agree with all three of you! I too think that most of Hallmark’s “royal” movies are getting repetitive (even though these same movies have been good). I’m starting to feel this way about the Hallmark Hall of Fame movies. How come, ever since they started premiering on Hallmark Channel, these movies always have to be centered around a romance? Back in the day, no two HHoF movies were alike. Sure, they might have shared similar themes, but they never felt like they were following a “formula”. I hope that Hallmark can bring more creativity back to the HHoF branch.
DeleteHi there! Looks like we have a new GSM in the works! After "GSM: Pandora's Box", its "GSM: The Mask Murder".

Oh YES, H.R.... I saw that, too! Love GSM! Lori & the gang absolutely are currently filming Garage Sale Mystery Movie #13 - Garage Sale Mystery: The Mask Murder! (I like that title!) They started filming March 5 and they should wrap March 22! Like you, I'm so happy to see this awesome mystery series continue!
DeleteThank you for the reminder! I'll be sure to add this title to the movie list!

I watched Jonathan Keltz on CSI: Miami - “See No Evil”, he portrayed as Ben, a blind man with his cane
ReplyDeleteFor me, after A Royal Christmas and Crown for Christmas, the other royal movies pale in comparison. There's a lot of princes out there from small countries in Hallmark land! Originality is certainly lacking lately and I do hope this certainly isn't a sign of things to come. I think Hallmark should sponsor a contest where viewers can submit their ideas for original movies. I think viewers and fans of Hallmark would send in some fantastic story ideas. I am looking forward to The Beach House, however. And, Net, thanks again for all you do here!
ReplyDeleteReally enjoyed this movie! Very sweet characters that are very likable! Adorable pairing--they just worked! One of my favorites this year as well as in the top 5 "royal movies" over all networks (including Christmas movies)! I'd love a sequel as it leaves me wanting a glimpse one year in the future to see how things are going with them. 4 out of 5 stars! Thank you Hallmark!
ReplyDeleteI really loved this movie too.
ReplyDeleteSo I have always considered myself a Hallmarkaholic and do not want to be cured. Having said that I do agree with the repetitiveness of some Hallmark movies, especially the “royal” movies. These hasn’t happened yet for the Christmas movies and dread the day that might happen. Anyway... back to the Royals. It is hard for me being a Brit, to hear atrocious english accents by American (and of course, Canadian) actors. I know immediately and then it just irks the heck out of me.
ReplyDeleteNumber one on my bucket list is to be in a Hallmark movie (I’m a struggling, and not successful actress when I’m not a nurse) So I would work for free with a real British accent if anybody’s reading lol.

ReplyDeleteFavorite scene with Susanna (Megan Park) - Going on a bike ride with Nate, and sitting and talking under the tree with him before he returns home.
