Frozen in Love - a Hallmark Channel Original "Winterfest" Movie starring Rachael Leigh Cook & Niall Matter!
MOVIE REVIEW
Movie: Frozen in Love
Network: Hallmark Channel
Original Air Date: January 13, 2018
CAST:
Rachael Leigh Cook ... Mary Cartwright
Niall Matter ... Adam Clayborn
PLOT:
Storyline via Hallmark: Mary faces the grim reality of her quaint but stagnant Denver store closing, she reaches out for some PR help to turn things around. At the same time, the handsomely wild, flashy “live-in-the-moment” Denver Royals hockey star Adam is sent to the same PR firm to fix his reputation, and the two are paired together in a seemingly mutually-beneficial buddy system: repair his image and give her the chance to reinvent the store and do something big to save it. Along the way, they both learn the important lesson that it doesn’t matter how many times you fall down, it only matters how many times you get back up again, which opens up two seemingly opposites for much needed change, and unexpected love.

ReplyDeleteI'm a guys guy who enjoys watching hallmark movies. I thought this was a really good one. Funny at times with a good message. One of the better hallmark movies.
ReplyDeleteWhat great production with a plausible storyline and spot on casting. Needless to say Niall Matter has amazing chemistry with all the leading ladiesπThis one was no different. What can I say...Rachael L Cook was again excellent. Really liked her as part of the HM stable. The story was good and well developed with the added goodness and fun from the banter between Adam and Mary. Classic tale of opposites attract well done. This is a keeper for sureπ So far HM Winterfest with Love on the Slopes and Frozen in Love is an exciting start to the year.π
ReplyDeleteAnyone know the name and artist of the song in the opening credits??
ReplyDeleteAnybody know the name of the song and artist at the very beginning of the movie?
ReplyDeleteThis was really cute and funny! I just love Rachael Leigh Cook and her pairing with Niall Matter is great! Love their cute banters, especially in the book club podcast. And can I just say, Mary's family dynamic is just so wonderful... with such supportive parents and brother. Love seeing them eating weekly dinner together, although that was a simple scene. Really enjoyed this one!
