Alison Sweeney to *Star* in upcoming Hallmark Movie all about Blueberries!!!

From details recently shared on social media sites, it appears actress Alison Sweeney ('Days of Our Lives', 'Murder She Baked', etc...) will be starring in the new original Made-for-TV Hallmark Channel movie 'The Irresistible Blueberry Farm'!

(Please note: that is the current working title and could possibly change before it's premiere... but, I personally hope it doesn't, cuz I think it's adorable!)

Clue #1: The title for an upcoming movie going into production was announced:  'The Irresistible Blueberry Farm' (filming from July 25th to August 13th) and then Alison shared this lovely image with blueberries, on Instagram!

Clue #2 and beyond: Multiple Tweets referring to the Movie!

Here's a couple with Alison's co-star Rebecca Staab:

I want to say a BIG Thank You to Sherry in California for discovering all the details & twitter links, etc... for this delicious new movie - 'The Irresistible Blueberry Farm'! ( I know you just adore that movie title! I do, too! Let's hope they keep it! )

Details to come... on when this will premiere! There has been rumors that it may appear during Hallmark Channel's 'Fall Harvest' event, but nothing has been officially confirmed, yet! Stay tuned!

  1. Sounds like another adorable Hallmark romance (assuming) film that will be a delight from beginning to end. Thanks for the tip! :)

Net -- The discovery of this movie was definitely a surprise to me, as this year there has just been a whirlwind of Valentine movies being filmed, Spring Fling movies being filmed, June Weddings movies being filmed, Summer Nights movies being filmed, and, of course, Christmas movies filmed all year long, really -- one after the other.

I was kind of thinking ahead to Fall Harvest and the movies that will be included in that (the ones that we know about, the ones that we suspect, and the ones that possibly haven't been filmed yet). This movie just popped up out of the "BLUE." ;)

I really wonder if it will be an actual Fall Harvest film, or if it will just premiere sometime after Summer Nights and before Fall Harvest kicks off (assuming that the rumor of a September premiere is correct). If that *other* tidbit of info I shared with you about the other movie on September 24th is accurate, and if the blueberry movie DOES air in September, then I wonder what its placement will be.... before or after 9/24?

My feeling is that this movie might be an in-between movie that bridges the gap from Summer Nights to Fall Harvest. Since Summer Nights is set to end in late August, maybe Hallmark felt like there would be too long of a gap of time until Fall Harvest begins, and so this movie could land on one of the Saturdays leading up to Fall Harvest (much like "Love on the Air" did last September).

Hallmark loves a farm in a movie, don't they? Christmas tree farms, pumpkin farms, tulip farms, blueberry farms... farms galore!

Who will end up being the blueberry farm leading man, I wonder?

    1. Love your comment, Sherry... that you discovered it "out of the blue!" How perfect!

As you said... Hallmark does seem to love "farm themed movies" and frankly, I love them, too!!! This one must be "irresistibly" good!

I'm also looking forward to hearing whoever her co-star might be! I'm guessing not Cameron Mathison or Gabe Hogan! Perhaps Paul Campbell, Jesse Hutch, or Andrew Walker??? Anyone is possible!!! :)

  4. Thoroughly enjoyed watching some of the filming of this movie taking place in Granthams, BC. Loved the fact that Alison Sweeney did her own stunt of falling off the dock and into the "cold" (for an American) water and that she and Marc did several takes in the water. Had a good giggle when Marc yelled out to the cast and crew "I saved the girl"! It was fun to watch this being filmed and I'm looking forward to seeing the final outcome.
