Could anything bring more joy than Chyler Leigh playing a character named Sloan? :-)

ReplyDeleteBeware....the DVDs offered without the case have been re-recorded and have sub-standard quality.
DeleteI texted the writer Tippi, and she has no idea ehy it hasn't bern on DVD, but it's probably due to the 2 popular songs on it who haven't given permission. Just a guess.

Fork in the Road - The Latency
Isn't Christmas Time a Wonderful Thing - Joel Evans

So glad you enjoy them !
Can anyone tell me if this movie was ever released to dvd? Love it!
ReplyDeleteI love Window Wonderland! I really would like to find it on dvd. Please can anyone tell me how to get it?
ReplyDeleteExactly!!!!! I'm nearly certain that I saw it on Amazon last year. I snoozed, and I LOST!! This is my favorite Christmas Movie since "Love at the Thanksgiving Day Parade" and I cannot buy it?! How can we find it?
ReplyDeleteAnyone know the song and artist of the song they play while they slow danced.... It was when they are trapped in the mall and he plays a song in his phone. I loved the song
ReplyDeleteSeveral sites have a re-recording of it for sale.
DeleteI can't believe Window Wonderland hasn't been put on DVD! This is up there in my absolute favorite Hallmark Christmas movies. The story has more substance than the average fluffy romance, in my opinion, and it actually managed to completely surprise me with the twist at the end, which not many movies are able to do. Love it!!
ReplyDeleteI can't believe it either, Amy! It's truly one of my favorites, as well! You are so right - Window Wonderland does have great substance to the story and it's fun to watch, too! I think it's one many love, so I can't understand why no DVD release here. I will be sure to post it - if they ever do release it! Sure hope they do someday!
DeleteThank you bunches - for commenting, Amy! :)
Blessings & Merry Christmas to you!!! Net
Amy, I completely agree with your every word. I have circled the DVD department of Walmart during a few visits this year with the hope that I would find "Window Wonderland" on DVD. If my DVR copy becomes lost, I will be quite upset. Is there any way that we will be able to find this movie on DVD?
ReplyDeleteIt has been overlooked in the Christmas DVD release dept for several years now. Must be some strings attached to the production rights. Otherwise, I'm sure they would release it, knowing it's a fan favorite.
DeleteHope they release it some day!
Merry Christmas!!! Net :)
Just watched this movie tonight and love it! I've paused and recorded dvr'd the rest halfway through. Love the Shawn Hook song so much that I had to Google it and that search brought me here.
ReplyDeleteI love, love, love this Hallmark Christmas movie. It is such a feel-good movie. Casting is perfect and the actors are wonderful. Great job!
ReplyDeleteI even messaged the 2 writers of the movie on Facebook, and got no response from either of them.
ReplyDeleteSometimes even writers are surprised to learn when their movies are released on DVD. I've seen this happen a few times firsthand.
DeleteSo... who would know? I'm thinking, perhaps, the production company, who is eOne.
Hope this is somewhat helpful to you, Tricia, with your search. I would absolutely LOVE to see Window Wonderland released on DVD, too!!!
Tippi did respond. She doesn't know why.
DeleteI just watched this movie (6:00 a.m.) and really LOVE it!! I saw it a couple years ago and really liked the actors - and the witty writing! I REALLY hope that it will be released on DVD. If anyone finds, please post here! Thank you!
ReplyDeleteI watched it at 6 am yesterday too. I have watched the movie in bits and pieces many times before, I was usually doing stuff around the house when it was on, but I really sat and watched it. I saw that painting that Net had in the guess the movie contest, I was like, "I was so dumb" cause I had no idea what that painting was from. That movie has such a great message, just be yourself, and be proud of who you are.
DeleteI want to get ahold of the opening music. That song get stuck in my head. It makes me boppy happy every. Would love to add to my drive to work playlist
ReplyDeleteI have tried every way I know to find that “wake-up” music. It is the happiest! It’s been yrs since I’ve seen the movie, but I can still remember the snappy tune. It must’ve been composed for the movie bc I cannot find it anywhere. I’d love to be able to put it on my Hallmark Movie playlist!!!
DeleteI have been trying to find this as well! I love it! It is such a fun, morning song! So no one has been able to find it, huh? That's such a bummer. π©
DeleteSooo happy I bought this on DVD so I could rewatch this today, it is soooo good!! -Maria
