"Snow in July"
Today - You are invited to join me for a Blog Party! This Special Posting is a collection of Snow-themed images and screen caps from various Christmas Movies. The theme "Snow in July" was created by Marcia, of the blog: The Shop around the Corner. Enjoy - especially for those of you who are enduring this oppressive summer heat! Hopefully, these images of snow will make you feel a bit cooler and relieved that winter is just around the corner!

I love that Snowy image of Bedford Falls!
Thank you for joining me on this trip to Snowland... through the Movies!
There's nothing like the scenic view of a landscape covered with a fresh pure white blanket of snow. It's beauty is magnificent!
I hope you have had the simple pleasure of snowflakes staying on your nose and eyelashes, running through the snow, making snow angels, throwing snowballs, and all the joy and amazement of watching that first snowfall each year!
Thank you for joining me for this Blog Party!
You can remove your coat, scarf, boots, & mittens now
and go inside and sip hot cider by the fire,

Dearest NMB, I absolutely LOVE your SNOW IN JULY post. When I saw the image of White Christmas, I smiled and my heart practically skipped a beat. Yes, that's how much I love that Christmas movie...my favorite without a doubt. Wish I could take a picture of myself watching it. There's a permanent smile on my face every time. Of course, It's a Wonderful Life doesn't fall too far behind on my list of holiday fav's.
ReplyDeleteI should have our premier party post up later tonight. Thank you for this early appetizer, ah'm, I mean movie snack. :)

Thank you, everyone, for all the great feedback! It was fun to participate and I hope you love these snowy images and movies - May they warm your hearts!
Those are very fun.. I like some vintage movies for lots of reasons. Good choices.
ReplyDeleteAren't Christmas movies the best? We look forward to them all year long! I'll be humming some of these happy tunes today, too! Enjoy!
ReplyDeleteLove it. There are a few I haven't seen! I'll make sure I do. I'll never forget one year, while living in France, the week before Christmas, one of the 4 major TV channels had a one week horror movie marathon. I was so well, horrified. Now that I am living back in the States....I watch a Christmas movie a night until Christmas. "It's a Wonderful Life," will always be my favorite. The Kranks do crack me up tough...and I cry in the end!
ReplyDeleteOh what a WONDERFUl post!!!!
