New Movie Premiere on BYU - Farmer Seeking Love! 🚜

A new movie, titled: Farmer Seeking Love, will premiere very early Monday morning, February 28, 2022, on BYU at 4am/3c.! Please be sure to note: This premiere is in the AM Hours! (Thank you to the Anonymous commenter - who alerted us to this airing!)

You may recognize the two lead actors from previous TV movies: Jesse Hutch, from Love on the Road, My Birthday Romance, A Very Vintage Christmas, Harvest Moon, Let it Snow, etc... and his co-star, Donna Benedicto, often plays a supporting role; you may recognize her from: Love in the Forecast, High Flying Romance, Jingle Bell Bride, Sweet Carolina, Christmas on My Mind, etc...

See details on the movie below...

Movie: Farmer Seeking Love

Network: BYU

Original Air Date: February 28, 2022 at 4am/3c.

Starring: Donna Benedicto and Jesse Hutch

Storyline via BYU:
As a talented producer for the dating reality-TV show, 'Head Over Heels', Claire Bardoz's days are spent behind the curtain, focused on producing the epic love stories of her contestants, all the while living vicariously through her own lacking love life. Looking to spice up the show format for their next season, Claire is elated when she receives an application from Joe Bennett, a ruggedly handsome farmer looking to be their next suitor. Thinking this could be the fresh take the show needs, Claire leaves the bustling streets of New York City and heads to Joe's farm to officially cast him as their next bachelor and get him camera-ready. Upon arrival, Claire learns that Joe's sister Addison submitted his application for the show, completely unbeknownst to him. As a massive fan of 'Head Over Heels', Addison sincerely wants to see her brother find love, and Joe begrudgingly agrees to participate after learning the TV show will not only film on his farm, but also pay for some much-needed upgrades. Through a romantically themed progression of screen tests, casting selections, and extravagant small-town date experiences, Claire earns Joe's trust with the process, and he in turn inspires her greatest potential. As their time together leads up to filming the show's first episode, it becomes evidently clear that deep-seated feelings between Claire and Joe have harvested into a reality that does not require an audience or end credits.

Movie Reviews:

🚜 "Such a fun movie!!!" ~Brenda

🚜 "Farmer Seeking Love is family friendly. (Review may contain Spoilers!) Joe Bennett’s Sister; Addison submitted a application for her Brother; Joe but he didn’t know about it. Claire received an application from Joe Bennett but she didn’t know that Addison did it for her Brother; Joe for Head Over Heel to find love. Head Over Heel reality show is like The Bachelor is certainly suitor with 25 women. Claire Bardoz is falling for Joe Bennett. Addison thinks Claire is the one for Joe. Claire says Head Over Head starts tomorrow. Joe & Claire are together in the end of the movie." ~Anonymous

🚜 "I watched "Farmer Seeking Love" on the BYUtv website and found it delightful! It really showed how much more Donna Benedicto is besides the Hallmark sidekick--the directing really allowed her and Jesse Hutch to shine. I find myself really liking the subtle moments Incendo captures as we're seeing the characters grow closer. Such moments really make a movie feel sweet!" ~Alicia

Are you looking forward to watching the new programming this weekend? I'm curious to see the "When Calls the Heart" Season 9 Sneak Peek (Yes, I'm planning to watch, even though I was Team Nathan. Still am.), and I'm looking forward to finally seeing "A Wedding to Remember" on UPtv! It's one of those movies I've been wanting to see from the Reel One production company for awhile now. Since it came out on DVD on December 28, 2021, I wasn't sure UPtv would get the rights to air it so soon, but I'm glad they did. I've seen some mixed reviews, but I hope it ends up being as cute as it looks!

Please note: I have not pre-screened the new movies listed above. If you'd like to post a review on whether a film is family-friendly, please share in comments.

I hope you all have a pleasant and peaceful weekend, as our hearts and prayers continue to be with the innocent people in Ukraine.

Blessings to you all, Net

Praying for Peace in Ukraine

My heart is breaking as I watch the news. Like many of you, my prayers are going out today - to the innocent people in Ukraine, whose country is being attacked. I know there are many scared and hurt people right this very minute. They are confused and don't know where to go. Please, Lord, help them to escape to safety, wherever that may be.

I know there must be many, many prayer requests, but I saw this specific one on Twitter this morning and I wanted to ask you all to join me in prayer for this brave family - in the face of danger...

@sarahrlacour requested prayer for:

"If you need specific names to focus your prayers for Ukraine, please pray for my friends Tanya and Andre and their family. Tanya and the youngest children are evacuating and helping the disabled childrens home evacuate. Andre + oldest son are joining the army and fighting."

The image above is of Christians who joined in prayer, out in the snow and bitter cold in Ukraine, praying and fasting over their country. Let us join our Christian brothers and sisters in prayer during this critical, difficult time.

If you know someone who needs prayer or if you'd like to give your thoughts on what is happening, as well, please share in comments below.

I fear, this is just the beginning with Ukraine. There will be more dictators who seek power and land-grabs elsewhere after this. Ukraine is weaker today, and sadly, America is, as well. Please, also join me in prayer for the future of our country and the world.

God bless you all, Net

Psalm 91:

1 He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.

2 I will say of the Lord, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust.

3 Surely he shall deliver thee from the snare of the fowler, and from the noisome pestilence.

4 He shall cover thee with his feathers, and under his wings shalt thou trust: his truth shall be thy shield and buckler.

5 Thou shalt not be afraid for the terror by night; nor for the arrow that flieth by day;

6 Nor for the pestilence that walketh in darkness; nor for the destruction that wasteth at noonday.

7 A thousand shall fall at thy side, and ten thousand at thy right hand; but it shall not come nigh thee.

8 Only with thine eyes shalt thou behold and see the reward of the wicked.

9 Because thou hast made the Lord, which is my refuge, even the most High, thy habitation;

10 There shall no evil befall thee, neither shall any plague come nigh thy dwelling.

11 For he shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways.

12 They shall bear thee up in their hands, lest thou dash thy foot against a stone.

13 Thou shalt tread upon the lion and adder: the young lion and the dragon shalt thou trample under feet.

14 Because he hath set his love upon me, therefore will I deliver him: I will set him on high, because he hath known my name.

15 He shall call upon me, and I will answer him: I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him, and honour him.

16 With long life will I satisfy him, and shew him my salvation.

Celebrate 10 Months 'til Christmas with TWO Great Hallmark Christmas Movies!

Please Note: This post was written before the Russian invasion in Ukraine escalated. My heart goes out to the innocent victims of war. See my prayer for Ukraine - here.

I know many of us cling tightly to our faith and family even more at a time like this. We all need the peace of Christmas...

Friday, February 25th, officially marks 10 Months 'til Christmas day! Can you believe 2 months have already gone by since Christmas? As I currently write this (on Wednesday afternoon), we are having a light snowfall, once again here in the Midwest, with 2-4 or more inches possibly on the way. We just had all of our previous snow melt away and now, here we go again!!!

In honor to celebrate and *Mark the 25th* day of the month as we Countdown to Christmas, we can watch two Hallmark Christmas movies this week - on Thursday and Friday! See details below...

If you are also wondering about GAC Family's weekend Christmas movie, unfortunately, there is no Christmas movie airing this Saturday night on GAC Family, after all. I spoke to one of my contacts at GAC media and she said they, unfortunately, had a last minute schedule change. Saturday night was supposed to be the special airing of the Viewers Choice Christmas movie; hopefully, they will still air it at a later date. Stay tuned for further details.

Now, for the Hallmark Christmas movies airing this week. I included the movies below + reviews from myself and wonderful friends who visit here: Savvy Girl, Misty, CH Mom, Anonymous, Jane, Sarah B, Melissa, Joyce in Carolina, J.F. Hale, brother in Christ, Oksanka, Sabrina, and Namegirl! Thank you all for taking your time to share your thoughts; I know many are so grateful, as I am, for your contributions.

Christmas Thursdays...

February 24, 2022:

As Christmas nears, heiress Jessica Morgan (Autumn Reeser) seizes what seems like her last chance to experience a relaxed Christmas and heads off to the small town of Glenbrooke, where she meets a handsome fireman (Antonio Cupo).

*If this movie looks familiar for Hallmark's weekly Christmas movie, you're right! "A Glenbrooke Christmas" previously aired just a few weeks ago on the Hallmark Channel. Typically, they don't air the same movie again so quickly throughout the year.

Movie Reviews:

🎄"I loved A Glenbrook Christmas. Autumn and Antonio still that that same chemistry and there were some very funny as well as serious moments. Family friendly, too. I feel HM/HMM movies this year are lacking, but this one hit a home run." ~ Savvy Girl

🎄"Antonio is drop dead gorgeous! I really enjoyed A Glenbrook Christmas. I liked how the church bells were incorporated and how it's a tradition of the town. I liked how they explained why Antonio's character was the person in charge about the bells. The art the children created were lovely. I liked how Autumn's character just didn't throw money and fix it herself. She got the whole town involved! Lovely movie, with two actors with chemistry and acting chops (a must for me)! Family friendly." ~Misty

🎄"A Glenbrooke Christmas - I was so happy to see Autumn and Antonio paired again since their last movie together (Love at Thanksgiving Parade) was one of my most favorite Hallmark movie of all time. This one was not quite that level but it was still cute and I still loved it." ~CH Mom

🎄"A Glenbrooke Christmas Enjoyable movie with good performances from Autumn and Antonio and a decent ending from Hallmark! It was pretty formulaic though and because there have been a number of really great movies on HMM this Christmas it suffers slightly by comparison. We probably would watch it again at some stage and it was nice to get through a family friendly movie." ~Anonymous

🎄"A Glenbrooke Christmas. I liked it. This one had sweet, gentle, warm Christmas “feels” but, overall, it was not a favorite for me (I think I liked Autumn Reeser’s “Christmas Under the Stars” better than this one). The lead actor didn’t wow me like he did others, to me he seemed a bit stiff or something; I don't think I've ever seen him before, I'd like to someday watch the Thanksgiving Parade movie since I've heard that movie was a better one for him and Autumn. I loved the senior actor who plays the manager of the cottage. The bells at the end were a bit lacklustre. Cute movie and I wouldn’t mind watching it again next year, but it just didn’t have that special zing that would make it a keeper for me. Family friendly." ~~Jane

🎄"What a special treat to see Autumn Reeser and Antonio Cupo paired together once again in this family friendly Christmas movie! There's just something truly special and wonderful about these two... they have all sorts of chemistry on screen. And... I'm not biased at all, since "Love at the Thanksgiving Day Parade" just happens to be one of my all-time favorite Hallmark Christmas movies! (haha!) The small town Christmas setting was lovely in "A Glenbrooke Christmas," and I loved how everyone made Autumn's character feel appreciated and welcomed. It made me feel at home, too, and left me with a warm and cozy feeling." ~Net

When Vanessa receives the results from her Family Tree DNA test, she discovers a family she didn't know existed and travels to their home for Christmas.

Movie Reviews:

🎄"From what I can tell, "My Christmas Family Tree" is family friendly. Also, did anyone else notice the fun Tyler Hynes cameo, plus the restaurant that Vanessa and Kris stopped at looked very much like the one in "Roadhouse Romance" ~ Sarah B

🎄"I noticed the cameo too! Apparently he and Andrew Walker are good friends. I think you’re right. I believe that was the restaurant from Roadhouse Romance. I’m glad to report this movie was family friendly and such an enjoyable one. I will definitely watch this one again. It might be my favorite this year." ~Melissa🎄

🎄"My Christmas Family is family friendly and I loved this movie! Story is so different from the usual same ole, same ole! You just have to watch it and see the love this family gives to the main character played by Aimee Teagarden. All the actors gave outstanding performances! They even say grace at the dinner table! It's just a top notch movie! And watch for the Tyler cameo! Thought I was seeing things! Lol! This is definitely a keeper!" ~Joyce in Carolina

🎄"My Family Christmas Tree was a sweet movie that departed a little from the usual Hallmark tropes. I love Aimee Teagarden and was refreshed by a family friendly and family-centered movie." ~J.F. Hale

🎄"Also watched My Christmas Family Tree! Happy to report it is also family friendly!! It did have a TINY bit of older audience content, sort of.(just because the entire plot is based around the father having a daughter with a woman he was never married to). But I think they handled it pretty well, the dad makes mention of being involved in a church pageant, and one thing I really liked, the family said grace before supper. I think that was their subtle way of showing that he has made mistakes, but that was in the past and he has clearly changed since then. Also.....TYLER HYNES!?!?! I had to rewind like 5 times make sure it was him! Lol Once Upon A Christmas Miracle is one of my all time favorites, so I was SO happy to see Aimee again, and she was REALLY good with Andrew. I had high hopes for this one and it didn't dissapoint, it was really sweet and Christmassy. Will definitely watch again! -brother in Christ

P.S. I hope this review and the review for One December Night is enough detail for a parent to decide if child should watch or not, I know it is hard to decide how old a child should be for certain content. If anyone had any other questions on the films, I will do my best to answer." -brother in Christ

🎄"I will join the people who have good reviews of "My Christmas Family Tree". After a few disappointments with the previous Hallmark movies, this one was definetely worth watching. It was such a heartwarming, touching story (I've had tears in my eyes a few times). It is one of those movies that will be remembered and rewatched many times. I don't remember the last time I've watched Hallmark movies and felt in this way." ~Oksanka

🎄"A Family Christmas Tree--not bad, but I dont understand, once again a few more lines like the DNA place calling her back to say that was her family. they left it that the DNA place said they got it wrong, which really??? The DNA place is just matching DNA, they don't mess up the names. To DNA your name is like what your favorite color is, it is matching your dna they dont get names wrong. But they took that they were biological cause of a picture he had of her mom that she doesn't even remember cause her mom died at 6? A few more lines, such as her showing them her mom's pic when he showed his pic of her. or the dna place calling back to say sorry again she is the right Vanessa, or even them doing a dna test at the end and they get the results while her and andrew walker are on a date, and the family is at home decorating for valentines day. I didnt believe her and andrew walker liked each other, they just seemed like brother and sister. Things i did like: the family doing lots together, the kids were cute, the mom saying many things like "I dont like the word step, we are all family" and she also said what's her husbands is hers, and that meant Vanessa was hers too, so sweet. The mother was my favorite character. But the movie love story was not good." ~Sabrina

🎄"MY CHRISTMAS FAMILY TREE Family Friendly (other than potentially discussing the topic of being pregnant before marriage). Oh so sweet! This was a tearjerker for sure. Really like Aimee Teegarden and Andrew Walker, but mostly Aimee. Not a lot of romance storyline between them though, but the family aspect here is the heart of this movie. I love that the family said grace in the movie. I just adore the step-mom character Pauline. Also the incorporation of Polish culture. *****spoiler alert***** Just one concern, and this is just me being nitpicky... I'm just a little puzzled in the end when the DNA company said it was a mix-up, but then it was not? It wasn't too believable to me for the DNA company to screw up 2 times like that. I felt like it was an unnecessary issue to create a climax. Even with this concern, it was still a wonderful movie." ~CH Mom

🎄"Angel Falls Christmas", "Much Ado About Christmas, "Five More Minutes". "My Family Christmas Tree" was interesting and good." ~Namegirl

🎄"My Christmas Family Tree was such a great Christmas movie surprise! I loved all of the warm family moments - with Vanessa meeting her biological father and new siblings for the first time. I liked how the children were hesitant, at first, but eventually came around to liking Vanessa. Also, the mother was super sweet and accepting of her husband's past; she was very welcoming, loving and kind. The DNA error was never fully explained, and I thought it made those sort of companies look rather bad. I do want to caution: that it is clear that Vanessa's biological father was not wed to her mother when she was conceived. He was in the service at the time and had no clue after leaving and going over seas that her mother was expecting her. Like brother in Christ said above, it's clear this is in his past now and he's a changed family man. Throughout the movie, it's interesting to watch Vanessa, who is normally used to being alone, warm up to the idea of having this big, beautiful family - with a grandmother, aunts, uncles, and lots of cousins, too! It was also sweet to see a children's Christmas nativity pageant incorporated into this story - telling the true meaning of Christmas!" ~Net

*************************

Hope you enjoy all the new movies airing this weekend. I'm most excited to see Candace Cameron Bure in the 18th movie in the "Aurora Teagarden" mystery series. Not sure I'm loving Niall Matter's look with the full woodsman style beard, but maybe, it will grow on me! (haha! - figuratively, speaking... not literally, of course!) Hope this mystery will be as fun as the previous ones; it's great to see all of the regular cast members return for this installment. Plus, I'm really looking forward to seeing Natasha, Candace's daughter, portray a teen version of Aurora, along with Lexa Doig's daughter, Mia, portraying a young Sally.

Also, this weekend... it's the BIG premiere of the final chapter in the "Wedding Veil" trilogy! Alison Sweeney is an actress I typically enjoy when the character she is portraying is more easygoing and not so stiff and serious. Hopefully, she'll have more of a carefree spirit in this movie; although, in the previous "Wedding Veil" movies, her character, Trаcy, has been a bit more cynical towards *the wedding veil* working it's magic. We'll see how this one goes! Third times the charm, right?

Please note: I have not pre-screened the new movies listed above. If you'd like to post a review on whether a film is family-friendly, please share in comments.

Hope you all have a relaxing and peaceful President's day weekend!

Blessings to you all, Net

SHARING HIS LOVE:

"For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord."
 ~Romans 8:38-39
