First, I'd like to wish a very Happy Mother’s Day to my kind, caring, thoughtful, amazing, beautiful Momma! Her love, strength, and grace inspire me every day. I'm so blessed to call her mine. I’m deeply grateful for the love and dedication she—and my daddy—poured into raising us. Their guidance shaped our values and, most importantly, led us to a strong faith in Jesus. Today and always, I cherish their constant support. Their love is a true reflection of God’s love!

Also, Happy Mother’s Day to all you amazing mamas who stop by here! You have the toughest—and most rewarding—job in the world!

I’m deeply thankful to the Lord for the beautiful gift of mothers. Through their unwavering, unconditional love, they reflect the depth of God's amazing love for all His children. Scripture encourages us to honor our mothers, and it also offers them wisdom and spiritual guidance as they nurture and lead their families.

One of the most meaningful gifts we can give to a mother—whether our own, a grandmother, aunt, sister, or daughter—is to pray for her. Lifting her up in prayer is a powerful way to show love and support.

To those who are missing a beloved mother or grandmother, my heart is with you. I’ll be holding the memory of my late grandmothers close, and I pray you find comfort in remembering the love and legacy they left behind.

Movies & More... 🎬

I am sooooo excited to watch the When Hope Calls Season 2 Finale!!! I'm hoping I'll get the chance tonight via Pure Flix. And while I can't wait to see it, I truly don't want this season to end. This season 2 has been spectacular and every similar word the Webster dictionary has for incredible!!! I can't even imagine there won't be a season 3, but hoping Great American Family/Media will make an announcement (either way, but hpefully, positive) soon!

Okay... so Love In The Clouds looks like it might be a nice movie; however, I can't help from feeling the timing for this premiere seems off - due to the cast wearing heavy coats, scarves, hats, and gloves. Based on the press pics and some of the video promos, it just doesn't look like a movie that should premiere in May on Mother's Day weekend. It looks more like a Fall or Winter January movie in my opinion. It is really great, though, to see both Paul Greene and Gail O'Grady on Hallmark again! (Kinda makes me want to pull out "All I Want for Christmas" and watch it! Love that Christmas classic! And... by the way, speaking of classics, "A Christmas Detour," starring Paul Greene and Candace Cameron Bure, airs on the Hallmark Channel Friday night!!!)

As I mentioned above, The Jane Mysteries: Murder At Moseby has aired on Hallmark+ previously, and I have seen this movie. In my opinion, this murder-mystery is best suited for pre-teen age and up.

UPtv is airing the third movie in the Love Club Moms series, The Love Club Moms: Harper. While I haven't seen this movie, it does sound like a woman who is not divorced and still married in the eyes of the law (and most importantly, God), may be entertaining the idea of dating. If this is truly the case, I cannot recommend this movie.

I love the scene pictured above in A Lot Like Christmas when they give the mother in the movie a group hug. In spite of the possibility of losing their business, they look on the positive and feel so blessed to have each other and good friends!

Dream Moms

Storyline: Danielle (Tamera Mowry-Housley), a one-time off-Broadway performer and former backup singer, and Claire (Chelsea Hobbs), a once-aspiring dancer, both had dreams of making it to the Broadway stage. Many failed auditions and years later, Danielle is married Mark (Roger Cross), a successful lawyer, and has a ballerina daughter, who is positioned for NYC ballet, living in the Upper East Side. Claire is a single mother raising two sons and working as a bookkeeper in the Garment District. Now consumed with motherhood, they no longer have time for themselves and have deferred their own dreams. Danielle’s brother RJ (Andrew J. Hampton) introduces the two after Claire begins taking classes at his dance studio. He is impressed with Claire’s dance technique and wants to bring the women together to compete in a nationally televised talent contest. As they start practicing for the show, Danielle and Claire begin to regain their sense of self and passion they once had as performers. When competing priorities arise with their families and cause them to reconsider, the pair ultimately realize they need to show up for themselves and set an example to never give up your dreams. PLOT:

Storyline via Hallmark: In the Hallmark Hall of Fame Presentation, single-mom Lizzie Beauman is encouraging when her young daughter unexpectedly befriends a widower named Walter as part of her Mission: Find a Friend.

“Love Takes Flight” is the 263rd episode of Hallmark Hall of Fame, still the longest-running and most award-winning series in the history of television.

In “Love Takes Flight,” Dr. Lizzie Beauman (DeLoach) is a single mother and hospital administrator tasked with assembling and creating the kind of world class hospital that attracts cases from all over the world. A former OB/GYN, Lizzie left medicine for administration when her five-year-old daughter, Quinn (Skylar Olivia Flanagan, “Every Other Holiday”) developed an insulin disorder. While building facilities is difficult, Lizzie’s best construction work consists of the walls she builds around herself. For Lizzie, spontaneity creates chaos, and she prefers order. But all that changes when new EMS pilot Charley Allen (Hephner) comes into Lizzie and Quinn’s lives. Charley challenges the constrictions Lizzie places on herself, especially, her fear of flying. And Charley learns something from Lizzie about the patience it takes to nurture relationships, especially between Charley and his dad whose relationship has been strained since his mom passed away. The day comes when Charley and Lizzie must come together as a team, each performing at the highest skill level to save a transplant patient. As they each watch each other at their best, love takes flight.

Over this Mother's Day weekend, there may not be any new movies on TV, but most Mothers, I personally know, truly love relaxing and watching a Hallmark movie, even if it's not new! And, Hallmark still has plenty of good movies to watch together, if perhaps it's a rainy day or something, or if you're simply enjoying some time indoors!

My heart also goes out to those of you who no longer have your Mother. May your memories be your comfort & joy this Mother's Day.

On Saturday, May 13th - the Hallmark Channel will have some delightful movies from the Hallmark Movie Library for us to enjoy... "Love by the Book," "Perfect on Paper," "Love on a Limb," "The Perfect Catch," "Love on a Limb," "The Perfect Catch," "Appetite for Love," and "Birthday Wish."

And, if you are looking for a little Mystery - the day before Mother's Day, Hallmark Movies & Mysteries will have a Saturday Marathon of the TV Series "Monk!" I love that show and my Momma loves it, too - so, if you're into solving a who-dun-it, you'll love this! (Mind you, it is a mystery - so, I do want to caution you, there will be some violence.)

UP will have a new episode of Heartland this Sunday evening, titled "Something to Prove." In this episode, "Georgie is forced to work with Jade's self-assured rival during one of Tim's team-building activities, but things begin to get competitive."

TCT will have the movie "The Bouquet" with Kristy Swanson and Michael Shanks, Sunday afternoon at 3:30pm EST. In this movie, "estranged sisters never could make peace concerning the differences between them, but when their mother needs help they have to find a way to work together to keep the family floral business going and maybe even make it flourish again."

Also on Mother's Day, the Hallmark Channel will be playing several of their original movies "The Nanny Express," "A Wish Come True," "Like Cats & Dogs," "Summer Love," and "A Dash of Love."

Over on the Hallmark Movies & Mysteries channel, they will be delivering an entire day long marathon of the beloved mystery movie series "Signed, Sealed, Delivered!" With it's heartfelt mysteries and deep elements of faith, that's my Momma's #1 Favorite Hallmark Series! Mine, too! I just know - we'll be sure to catch some of it together, with ALL the family, on Mother's Day!

If a classic movie is what you like, then be sure to turn to TCM at 8pm EST for the beautiful, heartwarming film from 1948, "I Remember Mama." This is the storyline... "When a Norwegian family decides to move to the United States, they settle in San Francisco, and the formidable mother (portrayed by actress Irene Dunne) struggles and sacrifices everything to ensure that her family survives the effects of the Great Depression."

I pray - a very Happy Mother's Day to all of you Mother's out there - who visit here!

I would like to wish a very Happy Mother's Day to my Precious Momma who is Everything to Me!!! For all the joy-filled days of happy adventures, all the yummy meals you prepared, the laundry you washed, folded, and ironed, preparing our little dresses for Sunday morning Church services (as Daddy always had our little shoes polished), the tears you wiped, the little scraped knees, the laughter, giggles, games, and all the lessons you taught us when we were young, and continue to teach... for all the big and little things!...
