✨ 'Tis the season...
for warm drinks,
chunky sweaters,
a cozy blanket,
and (almost!) Christmas movies, too!!!
We are just days away now from Great American Family - launching into their Christmas movie season!
On Friday, October 9th, Great American Family will begin airing Christmas movies 24/7! Along with the 18 new premieres, it looks like we'll see many of the classic Great American Family movies we've enjoyed through the years, including A Christmas Miracle for Daisy, Jingle Bell Princess, Joy for Christmas, A Christmas Blessing, and more - including a new premiere this weekend!

If you have the Great American Faith & Living channel, Christmas movies will also air there 24/7, beginning Thursday, October 8th. Along with the Great American Family Christmas movie classics, I also saw a few new acquired movies in the upcoming schedule, including A Cinderella Christmas (which originally aired on ION) and Love Always, Santa (which originally aired on Hallmark Movies & Mysteries). Both movies are fun, but I've always adored Love Always, Santa!

If you're wondering about Hallmark, both the Hallmark Channel and Hallmark Mystery will begin airing Christmas movies on Friday, October 16th! Look for your favorite Hallmark classics, old and new, including The Christmas Secret, A Very Merry Mix-Up, A Season for Miracles, and many more, along with new premieres that weekend!

Net, Will you share what you think will be sharing your rankings for GAF? I couldn't help but put A Christmas Prayer 2 as my #1.
ReplyDeleteMisty
Misty, I loved A Christmas Prayer last year, but was shocked to learn it actually ranked #13 last Christmas in ratings on it's premiere night. So... based on that, I ranked the sequel this year at #10, but if it was up to just me, it would definitely be much higher.
DeleteMy top three (based on when they are on & what they are up against in the schedule) are:
1. The Christmas Yes List
2. Christmas Wrapped in Love
3. Christmas at Moose Lake
Those are my top guesses... which may or may not be right at all, but it was fun to think about what might do well this year.
And you never know - A Christmas Prayer Tradition could top them all this Christmas! If so, that would be wonderful!!!
13?! I can't believe that. It won on your faith Christmas poll and Movie Guide.
DeleteI think the Christmas Ornament one may be number one now.

Yay!!!! We’re getting closer!!!!!!!!!

So excited!!! Do I hear Jingle Bells?????
DeleteLove Always, Santa has been a hard one to find in recent years. That’s fantastic to know that Great American Faith & Living picked it up. I’m glad I have this channel, but still hope it comes to the main Great American Family channel for others. That little girl is the best. She’s probably in her twenties now, but I wonder if she’s still acting?
ReplyDeleteYes, that little girl, Isadora Swann, was amazing!!!!!! I couldn't believe we didn't see her in lots of movies after that. I just checked her IMDB and she did a short film last year and another short is currently in post-production.
DeleteI didn't know Laura Vandervoort is now part of Crossroad Springs as Heather! So many new characters to keep track of.
ReplyDeleteI also watched Second Chance Christmas. It went so fast! I really do hope there's a second movie with the family next Christmas and see how they have grown.
Misty
Misty, Yesss!!! Isn't that exciting!?!? I saw a pic of her behind-the-scenes, so I knew she'd be in the show. She should make things interesting with James!!!! :) :)
DeleteThank you also for your review of A Second Chance Christmas! You're the first review of the 2026 Christmas movie season!!!! Glad you enjoyed it and want to see a sequel!
