Great American Media posted news today for the new lifestyle series, “Jep & Jess: Beyond the Bayou.”
Many of you will likely remember Jep and Jessica Robertson from the reality show, "Duck Dynasty." Jep and Jessica also had cameo roles in the Great American Family Christmas movie, "Have We Met This Christmas?," which starred Danica McKellar and Jesse Hutch.

NEW YORK, NY – April 7, 2026 – Cameras are officially rolling on “Jep & Jess: Beyond the Bayou,” marking the start of production on what is poised to become a landmark unscripted series for Great American Media.
Starring two of the country most influential and faith-driven voices, Jep Robertson and Jessica Robertson, the new Original Lifestyle Series follows the couple as they step into an entirely new chapter – building out not only neighborhoods, but a thriving Comanche Moon Ranch community rooted in purpose and legacy and viewers will witness firsthand how vision, hard work, and conviction can transform land into legacy – and neighbors into family.

Net, i am going to check this out. I am not surprised by this at all, they are a faith driven family who are very popular. With both SAG-AFTRA & DGA (the directors guild) current contracts expiring on June 30. A reality show can still be filmed and will take about 3 months to film. The talks for both have broken off but will resume at the end of the month for SAG-AFTRA and in May for DGA. I understand why GAF is filming so many christmas movies.
