Exciting Christmas movie news, everyone!
Great American Media revealed today - exclusively through Us Weekly - that Candace Cameron Bure is currently filming her second Christmas movie for Great American Family titled One More Christmas!
Candace previously filmed a third movie in the Home Sweet Christmas franchise with Cameron Mathison back in December (right at Christmastime!) titled A Sweet Christmas Anniversary.
Candace’s co-star in One More Christmas is Jonathan Scarfe, whom many of you may recognize from the Hallmark movies Angel of Christmas and Love on the Air.
Here’s the storyline for One More Christmas - shared by Us Weekly:
“In the film, Candace Cameron Bure and Jonathan Scarfe play exes, Anna and James Campbell, who’ve been divorced for five years and have a ‘carefully managed truce for the sake of their children.’
When their daughter invites the entire family to meet her serious boyfriend over Christmas at her grandparents’ rustic Smoky Mountain cabin, the former couple reluctantly agrees. Arriving a day early to avoid awkwardness, Anna is surprised to find James has the same idea. But when the worst ice storm in a decade traps them in the mountains with no way out, the exes are forced to confront the history they share — and the possibility that their story may not be finished after all.”

I am loving this news. Love CCB having 2 movies and love Johnathan Scarfe. I do love a good broken up couple finds their way back to each other. I am really looking forward to this. Looks like this is another Paula Elle/CCB collaboration. So happy to see this.

Can't wait to watch this. I love that they are announcing the Christmas movies early. Not sure if you saw on Instagram Jillian Murray posted in her stories yesterday a video with the caption behind the scenes on my new great american family movie and it is definately a christmas movie.
ReplyDeleteInteresting storyline for GAF. Unfortunately, some people have relationship issues that are at the boiler point stage during Christmas. I pray they can be resolved. This is not a movie I will be inclined to watch during the holidays even if I love CCB movies.

ReplyDeleteYes, Net! I'm very excited about One More Christmas! I'm a huge fan of Jonathan Scarfe and was sad he never made more Hallmark movies. And to be paired with Candace is just icing on the cake! I think they will be great together!!
ReplyDeleteI’m with you Net, this one sounds so cozy! I love the storylines where they are trapped due to a snowstorm. And I loved him in Angel of Christmas, I just saw it for the first time last year.

Paula...If you loved Jonathan in Angel of Christmas you have got to watch Love On The Air with him and Allison Sweeny! It's my favorite rom-com of all times! If you have Hallmark + it's on there and they have shown it recently on regular Hallmark and Hallmark Family.
