Happy *Spring Forward* Weekend, Friends!
Despite the time change with Daylight Saving Time, I hope you all are able to feel relaxed, rested, and rejuvenated this weekend! It usually takes me a little time (no pun intended) to get used to the change; however, I love to see daylight hours slowly become longer as we reach spring!
Get ready for another enchanting weekend on the Hallmark Channel as Andrew Walker's latest film, The Reluctant Royal, makes its debut. Andrew portrays an every day sort of guy, a mechanic, who suddenly has ties to royalty! (Happens every day, right?) Even though it may not be exacly realistic, please don't get me wrong, I truly appreciate that these stories have a lighthearted, familiar feel that always have a happy ending. Our world can be pretty serious sometimes, so I genuinely enjoy how these tales are often fun, light, and entertaining. They typically make for a delightful viewing experience, and Andrew Walker has always been one of my favorites to watch! (My top 2 movies starring Andrew are Hallmark's "Dashing Through the Snow" and Lifetime's "Snowed-Inn for Christmas." Would love to hear yours, too, in the comments below!)
And don't miss the chance to join the town of Hope Valley as they celebrate a harvest festival in a brand new episode of When Calls the Heart.
Plus, there's a spark of new romance in the latest episode of County Rescue.
Take a closer look at the new programming below...
Saturday, March 8, 2025:
Storyline: Philly mechanic Johnny is surprised to learn that his long-lost father is a duke. But the duke isn’t quite what he expected, nor are his growing feelings for the duke’s advisor Prudence.
Sunday, March 9, 2025:
Season 2, Episode 3 - Feathered Symphony:
Storline: Dani navigates Hunter being back in town while Tim heads out on a call that leads him to a new romance; Marcos hosts the grand opening of his art gallery before someone's mistake causes the event to go awry.
Sunday, March 9, 2025:

Season 12, Episode 10 - Through the Valley
Storline: The land dispute around McGinty's Meadow intensifies; Hickam and Mei throw a harvest festival for the town; Elizabeth helps Emily find her purpose.
I hope you all enjoy your weekend as much as I enjoyed chatting with so many of you this week! Again, don't forget to change your clocks as we *Spring Forward* early on Sunday morning!
And you might want to check your DVR on Sunday, too... just to be sure that time is right, as well. I've got Andrew Walker's royal movie, The Reluctant Royal, all set to record, and I'm looking forward to watching the new episodes of County Rescue and When Calls the Heart.
Due to plans, I haven't had the chance to catch County Rescue early this week (through Pure Flix streaming), but I'm extremely curious to see what Dani's reaction will be when Tim starts showing interest in someone else.
As for When Calls the Heart, I can't wait to see what unfolds with the gold search and Little Jack when he goes missing. I know they'll find him, but I'm curious to learn where he has gone and why.
If you're interested in the classic Christmas movies airing on Friday nights, then you'll want to check out the Christmas Schedule!
Please note: I haven't pre-screened the new movie airing this weekend. If you'd like to post a review on whether this film is family-friendly, please share in the comments.
"Have not I commanded thee? Be strong and of a good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed: for the Lord thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest."
Hi Net, same here - Dashing Through the Snow and Snowed-Inn Christmas are my favorite Andrew Walker films too. And right behind these two I would add A Dream of Christmas, followed by My Family Christmas Tree.
ReplyDeleteThe movie Bridal Wave was on the other day and I forgot how much I liked that movie with Andrew Walker. Him and Arielle K are so good together in it. They play off each other well. Better than in A Bride for Christmas. I love when he is not allowed to have pupu's from the pupu platter at the resort. I love that movie cause he gets along with Georgie's family so well and they all seem to love him right away. We always call that movie "Washers and Dwyers" cause that is the name of the family company I think.
ReplyDeleteI do love Andrew and Nikki in A Dream of Christmas. I think they have the best chemistry in that movie.
And of course, I do LOVE, like Net, Snowed inn Christmas. He and Bethany Joy Lenz just make that movie look like it was flawless to make as they just acted so natural together.

Hallmark and GAF this weekend for me. -Maria
ReplyDeleteAll in for the WCTH!! That is such a sweet daddy and son picture with mom smiling behind. I wonder what happens to Jack, kids do loose track of time and like to wander. I also wonder if this is what causes him to get sick later in the next coming episode.
ReplyDeleteDefinitely watching the part 2 of the Royal series.
I love those Andrew movies too Net, plus My Secret Valentine. ❤️
ReplyDeleteGreat weekend for watching the channels.
ReplyDeleteI am totally recording the Royal movie-absolutely love Andrew Walker. I love him in Wedding Planner Mystery, A Perfect Catch, Christmas in Tennessee from Lifetime, so many more! I agree Net, I love the light comedies and romance Hallmark gives us, very comforting and I love that I can record them and have so many saved to watch when I really need to relax/laugh.
ReplyDeleteHave a great weekend everyone!
