wonderful first looks
ReplyDeleteHi Net, I FINALLY figured out the mystery we couldn't solve concerning the movie "A Royal Date for Christmas" with Danica Mckellar. I couldn't find what post we chatted about it so I'm just putting the info I found out here. A few months back I asked about the end of that movie where there is a picture that they referred to with her supposed to being in the picture, but she is nowhere in the picture. You even went back and checked on your recording and saw that she wasn't in picture either. We thought it had to be a big blunder on someone's part. Well, tonight I watched the end of that movie again when it was live on Great American Family and guess what? She is now in the picture lol. They FIXED it after all these months. It's a picture of her dancing with the dude like it was supposed to be. I still had an old copy from November 2023 on Frndly TV, so I went and watched that part again to double check and she is DEFINITELY not in the picture. Someone just completely screwed up back then, but they fixed it now. Problem solved...ahhh, we can now go on with life again.
ReplyDeleteJim, This is wonderful news!!! Do you think someone from the network saw your original comment and decided to fix it??? If so, that's pretty cool.
DeleteI love that they corrected this and now I'm going to have to look for this next time it's on! I've also noticed in "A Paris Christmas Waltz," the main dance at the end, in the song it used to say when HE was born, but now it has been fixed to say when CHRIST was born! Isn't that wonderful?!?! Now, I am curious to discover what other changes have been possibly made to other movies.
Thank you so much for sharing this. I've been watching lots of news lately, but here and there I squeeze in a Christmas movie to de-stress!
Blessings on your day! Net
Net - I am glad to see these previews and to hear of the changes you and reader noticed. Glad to see I am not only Christmas in July lover, that has ended up watching more news instead. Had to clear some of my DVR as it was filling up and I am just not being able to enjoy them at this time. Then Olympics coming which will try and get my attention also. A reminder that my main attention is ti be still and listening to our Father!
DeleteWill there be a Dayspring movie for Christmas in 2024?
ReplyDeleteChris, I haven't heard officially, yet, but I would assume the answer to be yes, since the DaySpring movies typically do well in ratings for Hallmark.
DeleteBlessings, Net
I felt I needed to warn you about a summer trilogy series. Hallmark is having a series similar to the Wedding Veil, but this one is about the guys(The Groomsmen). One of the 3 men is LGBTQ. Tyler Hynes is one of them and I have been noticing throughout the years he is often involved with movies that has this issue. So is Jonathan Bennet, who is also in the series and plays the gay man. Just thought you should be aware.
ReplyDeleteAbigail, Thank you for being so thoughtful to mention this.
DeleteI briefly mentioned this, as well, in my TCA post here:

For now, this series will be a Hallmark+ (streaming) exclusive, but I wouldn't be surprised if down the road they play it on the Hallmark Channel, too.
'Holidazed' also has a large, diverse cast.
Will the Hallmark Mystery Miracles of Christmas movies are going to be like Murder She Baked:A Plum Pudding Mystery?
