Great American Family has also recently announced Danica McKellar's upcoming 2024 Great American Family Christmas movie, "A Royal Christmas Ball." There's no promo, yet, since Danica will just begin filming her movie on Monday! Her co-star is Oliver Rice (Chesapeake Shores, Aurora Teagarden Mysteries: Heist and Seek, One Bad Apple: A Hannah Swensen Mystery).

Trevor Donovan and Cameron Mathison have also shared that they will each have their own NEW Great American Family Christmas movie coming this year, and Cameron recently teased his followers on Instagram by saying his co-star is someone we all will know. In fact, he also added, she's an actress he said he's wanted to work with for a very long time. Interesting, huh? Those comments certainly have me guessing. Share your guesses in comments below.

So... stay tuned! I'm sure there will be much more to reveal - as we continue to Countdown to Great American Christmas!

May Your Day Be
Merry & Bright!

  3. Count me in for Candace and Jill's movies. Huh, a movie with the name Aurora in it and Candace is not in it...makes me miss the series.

  4. I wish they would just stop the Christmas movie announcements already. The announcement that I and so many other are asking on their social media pages. Is when are the movies going to return. They are really good at not answering anyone comment but if someone says they can't wait or love this cast they comment. And lets not forget when they post about their current worhtless lineup when someone says they love it they can not help but sing that poster praises. And of course the movies questions are ignored or told about Pure Flix which alot of thieir fans do not want. I had such huge hopes for this channel but has been nothing but a disappointment.

    1. I agree. I thought there would be more new movies throughout the year, not just Christmas.

    2. Exactly, i looked at their Facebook pages the majority of the comments want the movies back. I do not understand why they are pushing Christmas their ratings are failing and unless something changes soon they may not even be around for Christmas.

    3. I agree with everything you wrote. Maybe it is just me but I would rather have a few each season and less at Christmas on GAC.

    4. social media is not true reflection of actual viewership for linear viewers which is what still drives ad dollars that is crucial to survival. since beginning PM, ratings for both day & night have jumped from around 100k to over 130k in primetime which is extremely low viewership compared to most networks, but a sizable jump for them so they won't be pulling it anytime soon most likely.

  5. I am so so so excited for all these movies with GAF! I can’t believe we are practically in May, this year is flying by.

    1. Gabe's Mom, I so agree!!! I'm also loving the storyline for Candace's movie and especially happy to see in the promo that her movie will include faith.

So good to hear from you!!! :)

  8. What movies are you looking forward seeing in Christmas 2024

  9. I also love watching Christmas movies all year and get excited when a new Christmas promo comes out from Great American Family. I am guessing that Cameron Mathison's co-star will be Lori Loughlin. I am hoping we hear something about Jen Lilley soon. I think it would be great to pair her up again with Trevor Donovan. However...it is also nice when we see one of our GAF stars paired up with someone who hasn't yet been in a GAF movie. Looking forward to some BTS pics from Danica McKellar's new Christmas movie since she starts filming tomorrow!

    1. blessedgigi23- Lori Loughlin is my guess for Cameron Mathison, too!

At first, though, my initial thought was... could Candace be making a second Christmas movie, but then I thought of Lori, and I think they'd be great together. So, I'm keeping Lori as my guess, as well.

The anticipation is always such fun! :)

And yes, I, too, love getting sneak peeks from Danica as she's filming. I'm glad Great American Family announced her Christmas movie early so she is somewhat free to share!

    2. Don’t y’all remember that this is how Hallmark got started up! They went big on Christmas, THEN created enough revenue for the rest of the year. Plus..if you stream GAF Pure Flix, tons of their movies, like Passport to Love?

  10. In the past week they have tweeted out about Christmas movies 14 times and Pure Flix got 7 tweets. On all of their social media pages it is the same. This movie fan has given up, I have sent numerous messages asking for the moves to return or when are they returning never got an answer. Many many fans have asked on social media only to get the standard response movies are taking a break and pure Flix has movies. Many fans say they can’t afford to add any streaming service, Now I find out movies are shown on the weekends on Merit Street Media.so thru can show movies but Great American Family will not. Something is up with network and I do not think we will ever see movies on Great American Family again.

    1. I agree, Bailey! The fact that they are not showing any movies at any time, and all they talk about now are their upcoming Christmas movies...yes, I too think that something is going on at the network. Also, as I mentioned before, they did this big push for the Jingle Bell Bracket, and here we are in May and still no published results! Hmmm...

  11. I wonder if Cameron Mathison’s co-star is Kellie Martin

    1. Aah, Kellie Martin is another wonderful, fantastic guess!!! And they were wonderful together in "The Christmas Ornament." Plus, Cameron said we would know her, and I think many do.

And Kellie hasn't done any movies for Hallmark in awhile. I could totally see this happening!!!!!

I must say... I'm loving your guess, too!!! :)

    2. I second that guess! I love Kellie Martin! I recently came across “So you said yes” with Kellie and Iv never seen it so I recorded it and I’ll be watching it soon 😊

    3. Cameron said she’s an actress & he worked with her for a long time whenever he wanted to work with her for a long time. Looks like he works with her again for someone he knew!!!

    4. I too would love to see Kellie Martin and Cameron Mathison teamed up again! I agree with you Net - they had such great chemistry in The Christmas Ornament! One of the Hallmark Christmas classics!

    5. I would LOVE Hailey Dean to show up!!!

  12. Have we heard any news with Jen Lilley involving GAF?? If not, that's my guess concerning Cameron Mathison.

    1. Oh, I sure hope we see Jen Lilley in another GAF movie this Christmas! Love her!!! :)

She was recently asked about upcoming movie projects, but was vague and didn't give any hints. Bummer.

She and Cameron would also make a fun pairing, but I kinda keep hoping she'll be matched with Trevor Donovan again.

Although, now that Jillian Murray has a contract with Great American Family, it would also be fun to see her paired with Trevor again!

So many possibilities!!!! So fun to guess with you and everyone!!! :)

  13. Florence, Thank you for your comment (not posted publicly) regarding a certain actor.

I had kinda forgotten about this person's past relationship history, but after doing a quick search, I'm recalling some of the awful, horrible details. I sure hope this actor has turned their life around and is seeking God now.

I know you mentioned you didn't want to make a discussion out of this, but if you'd like to share more, please feel free to email me.
