For all of you Sleuthers who love the mystery series, Monk, which originally ran on the USA network from 2002 to 2009, exciting news was released today via Deadline. An ALL NEW Monk Reunion Movie is in the works, with much of the original cast returning... Tony Shalhoub (Adrian Monk), Ted Levine (Leland Stottlemeyer), Traylor Howard (Natalie Teeger), Jason Gray-Stanford (Randy Disher), Melora Hardin (Trudy Monk) and Hector Elizondo (Dr. Neven Bell).
According to Deadline, this new Monk Reunion Movie will air on the Peacock streaming service, much like the three Psych reunion movies did. This new film is called Mr. Monk’s Last Case: A Monk Movie and follows Monk, "a brilliant San Francisco-based detective with an obsessive-compulsive disorder, as he returns to solve one last, very personal case involving his beloved stepdaughter Molly, a journalist preparing for her wedding."
Previous episodes of Monk currently air on Hallmark Movies & Mysteries; they can be streamed on Peacock, and the full series is available on DVD.
What?! Wow! Monk is one series that my family discovered a few years ago and have enjoyed immensely. We were so happy it stayed strong to the end and got the perfect, sweet finale it deserved. I hope this reunion movie lives up to all the Monk-ness we know and love!

This is awesome news! Monk is the best mystery show out there. I hope this reunion movie will give justice to all of the previous episodes.
ReplyDeleteHallmark changed the title from
ReplyDeleteSpin Cycle to The Heart in the Game on April 29, 2023
Starring Erin Cahill & Marco Grazzini
Kimberley Sustud & Paul Campbelll will write scripts for 2 movies: “My Week in Wyoming” & “Three Wise Men & a Little Guy”, is a sequel to “Three Wise Men & a Baby”
ReplyDeleteNo, they're not writing a sequel to Three Wise Men And A Baby. You got that wrong. Paul said that they're not doing a sequel to that one because sequels are hard to make better than the original movie and he said that they have a movie they're thinking of and also if they did a movie with Paul, Tyler and Andrew again he said that it would be a different movie with new characters that has nothing to do with their Three Wise Men And A Baby movie but still a movie with the 3 of them.
DeleteCan't wait!
ReplyDeleteWhaaaat?! I’m so excited! Our family LOVES Monk! This is such a surprise.
ReplyDeleteKimberley Sustad & Paul Campbell are writing 2 movie scripts
ReplyDeleteKimberley Sustad said, “Paul and I are writing a script called ‘My Week in Wyoming
The second movie is top-secret, she said, but one they have high hopes for.
“We’re also working on a Christmas movie that we’re writing, and I’m not allowed to say anything about that one,” she continued, “but it’s also going to, I hope, blow the doors off as well. So we’re having a lot of fun doing that simultaneously, actually.”
Soooo excited to hear this! Love Monk and crew! I hope they stay true to the show and not get all π³π like so many shows and movies are these days. Happy to see other comments from Monk fans. Thanks for the head’s up, Net!! Take care all, ‘it’s a jungle out there’! π π π
ReplyDelete3 Wise Men & a Baby Sequel
DeletePaul Campbell also told Wide Open Country that the stars already have an idea they want to pitch to Hallmark. So even though they’re won’t be a sequel, there could still be something big coming down the pipeline.
“We have one idea that’s already percolating, and we’re going to have to float that by Hallmark Channel and see what they think,” he revealed.
They made mistake last year Christmas movie; “Three Wise Men & a Baby”, but they’ll pitch up new idea for Christmas movie; “Three Wise Men & a Little Guy”
It spoofed to “Three Men & a Little Lady”
This is the best news! I still love watching this show in reruns. Paula
