How fun to see so many delightful movies airing this Christmas season on UPtv! I'm especially happy to see Christmas in the Rockies, Fixing Up Christmas, and Snowed in for Christmas!
Two movies may be familiar, as they premiered last year on ION - Christmas Together and A Royal Christmas Engagement. This is their cable premiere on UPtv.
I was surprised not see the sequel to Romance in the Wilds - titled: Christmas in the Wilds! Maybe it will be seen somewhere else this Christmas season??? Or, I guess we'll have to purchase the DVD.
It is great to see so many familiar faces, such as: Stephen Huszar (Chesapeake Shores, Cooking Up Love, Time for Us to Come Home for Christmas), Marshall Williams (When Hope Calls, Love Strikes Twice), Kayla Wallace (When Calls the Heart), Jeremy Guilbaut (Christmas Waltz), Kimberly Sue Murray (Love Upstream), Damon Runyan (Magical Christmas Shoes), Kaitlyn Leeb (Heartland, Romance in the Wilds) and more!
Which movie are you looking forward to seeing during UPtv's Merry Movie Christmas event?
These movies all look pretty good. Will have to check them out.
ReplyDeleteSabrina
Sabrina, I agree! UPtv's Christmas lineup looks great this year! :)
DeleteThis is a really good Christmas line-up from UPtv - much more than I was expecting - I think a couple of these movies may have been aired somewhere before.
ReplyDeleteWill be interested to see how Kimberley-Sue Murray and Steven Huszar pan out, I didn't think she and Steve Lund were a good match.
I had been hoping to get this on DVD but Amazon wouldn't send it to my address so this is great.
Looking forward to seeing Fixing Up Christmas - the trailer looks interesting - in keeping with what seems to be a new policy Reel One Entertainment haven't listed this as being taken up by UP - Florence
If you look at the fourth paragraph from the bottom, they do mention a couple of these movies have previously been on ION.
DeleteWill be looking forward to a few of these.

Wow, Up is starting with Summerville, SC for first small town show. That is our sister city. Summerville is beautiful year round but Spring is breathtaking there. The Flower Festival is known nationally. I will be looking forward to this.
ReplyDeletekitkat, I am looking forward to this series, too! I recall Candace was going to host something similar to this years ago on the Hallmark Channel. I believe it was pulled on the very day it was set to air and then, we never saw it. I always wondered what happened to it because I loved the concept of visiting small towns across the USA and seeing how they celebrate Christmas.
DeleteI'll look forward to seeing your sister city - Summerville!
Looking forward to the movies!
ReplyDeleteMisty
Misty, Good to hear your take! I'm glad you are looking forward to many of these new Christmas movies on UP, too! :)
DeleteI'm looking forward to seeing Small Town Christmas. I really like the idea of featuring a real town with holiday spirit.
ReplyDeleteMary, I think it sounds wonderful, too... it sounds warm and festive!
DeleteExcited to see Stephen Huszar has a movie.
ReplyDeleteMe too, kitkat! Plus, since it's an INSP film - we know it will be family friendly! So happy for this news! :)
DeleteWow, Net, you must be overwhelmed and sooooo busy with all these new Christmas movie listings coming out, fast and furiously. THANK YOU for keeping track of all this for us. I'm still hoping Verizon, here in the mid-Atlantic, will reinstate Great American Country after deleting it from their lineup; so far, they've added back in GAC Living and here's hoping they'll add GAC Family just in time for me to watch all the Christmas movies (although, I suppose I could get Hulu or something -- although, I don't even know what that really is.. hah!!)
ReplyDeleteWanted to mention that I saw Amazon now has available last year's movie "The Christmas Doctor". I don't think I saw that anywhere in your lists.
I'm going to try to sign up for your email list. A year, or so, ago I tried to do it and I couldn't get it to work. I'll try again now, hopefully I do it right this time. :)
~~Jane
Jane, Oh my goodness, YES!!! Just when I think it's going to be a quiet day with no news, all of the sudden a bunch comes out - and all at once, of course! :)
DeleteI sure hope you'll be able to get GAC Family, too, because it looks great! Would love to hear your thoughts on GAC Living when their new programming starts up - since we don't currently have it on DirecTV.
As for DVDs... I just did an update today and added in "The Christmas Doctor" and "Deliver by Christmas" to my 2021 Christmas DVD list! Good to see those new releases and more are on the way! :)
Please let me know if you have any difficulty signing up for my new email list. I am paying for this service - so I definitely want to be certain it is working properly.
Again, so nice to hear from you!
Blessings on your weekend, Net
The email service is working - yay!

Jane, So good to know my newsletter is working for you! Thank you! :)
DeleteChristmas Beneath the Stars was kind of cute despite all the flaws. Low-budget, serious lack of attention to details, awkward, cheesy, some poor acting, the dreaded BIG misunderstanding and the resulting over-the-top melodrama by our heroine, etc., etc. But still, kinda cute if you don't have anything else to watch. Family friendly (there may have been one instance of God's name used in vain?). Not a keeper for me.

Fixing Up Christmas. Kind of cute despite being low-budget and rather unbelievable and quirky. The lead actress, herself, was kind of quirky, but in a refreshing, good way. At first I was not impressed with the lead actor but he sort of grew on me. Not a keeper, but okay for a one-time watch to get some Christmas feels. Family friendly.
