Hello Friends! The weekend is here with New Movie Premieres and the last bunch of Christmas movies to finish out July! I know... it's no fun to see the Christmas movies go, but it's nice knowing a new season of Christmas movies will be here soon - in October! Plus, hopefully, many of our old Christmas favorites will return then, too!

This next movie suggestion is not a new premiere; however, I missed sharing the original premiere date with you all back in April, so now that there are two encore showings coming up, I thought I would share these dates/times - in hopes that you might be able to catch one of them!
See the encore airing of...
Storyline: The owner of a quaint New Zealand yarn shop, Sophie Dale, gets her world flipped upside down after learning her top supplier of yarn, King Farms, is stopping production. Much to her surprise, the charming yet stuck-in-his-ways Samuel King has traveled all the way from New York to audit the business model of the farm. Desperate to keep her shop going, Sophie convinces Samuel to give her two weeks to learn the ropes of yarn spinning and raise enough money to buy the mill herself. With Samuel’s help, Sophie comes up with a fundraising plan to host a “knit-off” and auction at the local makers market. However, when the two weeks come to an end Sophie finds herself at the crossroads of business and romance. Could she have misinterpreted Samuels growing romantic interest in her as just business all along?
I watched this movie via streaming on BYU's web-site. See my review of A Love Yarn - here!

I hope you all have a wonderful weekend as we transition from July to August. It's been so hot here in the Midwest lately with high, sultry, tropical humidity. Being outdoors, therefore, has been less than enjoyable. This weekend, however, we are expecting milder temps and lower humidity, so I'm looking forward to enjoying some comfortable weather and outdoor activities. Hope your weather is pleasant, too!
As I mentioned above, it's going to be hard to say goodbye to Christmas in July on Saturday, but I'm hopeful we'll have many wonderful Christmas movies to look forward to this upcoming holiday season.
Please Note: I have not pre-screened the new movies above. If you'd like to share a review after the movies air, please share in comments. Thank you!

The Parable of the Lost Sheep
10 “Take heed that you do not despise one of these little ones, for I say to you that in heaven their angels always see the face of My Father who is in heaven. 11 For the Son of Man has come to save that which was lost.
12 “What do you think? If a man has a hundred sheep, and one of them goes astray, does he not leave the ninety-nine and go to the mountains to seek the one that is straying? 13 And if he should find it, assuredly, I say to you, he rejoices more over that sheep than over the ninety-nine that did not go astray. 14 Even so it is not the will of your Father who is in heaven that one of these little ones should perish.
Will there be ever a Signature Mysteries Movie on Hallmark Movies and Mysteries where a bad guy was stealing Christmas Trees and the owner of the Christmas Tree is killed and the detectives found him or her and arrested them?
ReplyDeleteI have been so into the Olympics I abandoned the last week of christmas in july. I just love our American athletes, especially the swimmers, runners, they dream of going to the olympics and then they are there. a few of the swimmers are from our area here, the men.
ReplyDeleteI am looking forward to fall harvest, well at least from the 1st couple movies. Give Hallmark time to turn them into something else.
Sabrina
Sabrina, Thank you for commenting! I like seeing the American athletes who are supportive of our country and flag. Those who aren't, I tune out on right away. Gymnastics has always been my personal favorite to watch; there certainly has been a lot of ups & downs with that in this Olympics. I've also seen some great highlights of the swimming - how cool that many are from your area!
DeleteYeah, the Fall Harvest movies are looking good - so far. Hopefully we can pick & choose some good ones! :)
Congratulations, bigbrat!
ReplyDeleteI was really disappointed in Hallmark Channel and their scheduling this year. Having NO Christmas movies on from Midnight to 10 am was sad. Did we really need all those Golden Girls episodes? Why not just go wall-to-wall Christmas movies like they've done in the past?
ReplyDeleteShe’s Thankful to Hallmark for Hiring Her While She Was Pregnant
ReplyDeleteWagner explained that it’s hard to get work in the film industry while you’re pregnant and she was very grateful to Hallmark for hiring her. She tagged Hallmark and wrote: “Thank you @hallmarkmovie for loving me in all my ‘forms’ :-).”
She said in the video:
I wanted to give Hallmark a shoutout, the network. Because they’re one of the few people that hire women as pregnant as I am. And while I understand that some of the viewers really don’t understand that… I think we’ve done a pretty good job of hiding that. And hopefully, you won’t focus on that. But for me, the actual person that gets to play the role and the woman and the actor, I just really appreciate it. Because a lot of times when you’re six months pregnant, seven months pregnant, you can’t work. No one will hire you. And my work is part of who I am. So it makes me feel important at this time, like I’m contributing to my family… It’s just a really kind thing that they do. And just because, say you’re pregnant, it’s not like, ‘Well, you’re out for nine months.’ So I just wanted to give a big shoutout to Hallmark and say thank you. I also wanted to say thank you to the amazing cast and crew of this film… It’s been an incredible experience
Oh my goodness! What a cliffhanger on Mystery 101! And what a fantastic episode! It just keeps getting better and better!
ReplyDeleteTotally agree, Jennifer! This Mystery 101 was awesome! I added your review with mine on the Mystery 101 page - here...
