PLOT:
Storyline via Hallmark: On-air weather reporter Leah Waddell is getting weary of her bleak dating life and inability to be taken seriously as a budding meteorologist. At her wits end, she makes the decision to stay single and focus on her career for a full year. As soon as she makes this commitment, it literally starts pouring rain and men. As Leah deflects multiple romantic offers, she befriends her new neighbor Mark, a handsome dairy farmer who teaches her methods to predict the weather by observing signs in nature.

Looks cute!

I agree, Misty! Cindy Busby's movies always look uplifting, bright and cheerful!
DeleteI enjoy both of these actors, so looking forward to watching this.
ReplyDeleteMe too, Susan! Cindy Busby has been a favorite of mine since her Heartland days and of course, the Darcy movies with Ryan Paevey and Christopher Russell first won me over with his role in Midnight Masquerade with Autumn Reeser!
DeleteSo glad we have this new movie to look forward to this Summer!
Has anyone else noticed the suggestive same-sex couples in Hallmark’s commercials? Zales and Freshpet commercials.
ReplyDeleteThank you for mentioning these commercials. I had not noticed this. I try to avoid advertisements whenever possible, by fast-forwarding, flipping during commercials, etc...
DeleteI am sad to hear this news, but I'm not surprised. Companies won't care if they offend only one group, Christians and others of faith.
Well done to them.more diversity next please.
DeleteAmazing movie my all time favourite men cotton jackets thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteI just had a chance to watch Love in the Forecast reruns this weekend. It was cute. I know Cindy Busby is a favorite in this site, but personally I've always felt that she is a bit too bubbly for me. She is a great actress though, and her chemistry with Christopher Russell was great in here. This might actually be my favorite movie of hers. Now I get why they pair them again in "Chasing Waterfalls". I really like the weather theme. Some cringey moments (like when Leah was snooping on Mark's date and then she went on a date with Nolan), but overall this was a sweet family friendly movie.
ReplyDeleteCH Mom, Thank you for this review! I'm glad you enjoyed this sweet movie.
DeleteLast year, when it premiered, we had so few new movies during the height of the virus - that this lighthearted movie, I recall, was an even more welcome sight.
Glad you also liked the coupling of Cindy Busby and Christopher Russell on screen - I agree, they are great together! :)
