As I suspected (pun intended), the next all new “Aurora Teagarden” movie will be delayed.
Candace Cameron Bure, who stars in the series as Aurora Teagarden, shared recently in an interview with E.T. that there was still some additional sound work that needed to be completed on that film before it could premiere. Perhaps, they are not sure, at this point, if they will be able to complete it with everything that is going on in the world and decided to wait later to premiere it. Candace mentioned in the interview they might set something up so she could do the voice-overs from home.
The cast of "Aurora Teagarden" were actually filming another new installment, "Aurora Teagarden Mysteries: Reunited and It Feels So Deadly" when the coronavirus outbreak became a pandemic and Hallmark ultimately decided to send everyone home.
Hopefully, Hallmark's editing team will eventually be able to work something out with the "Aurora Teagarden Mysteries: Heist and Seek" film, so we will be able to watch it soon!
UPDATE: According to the Hallmark Movies & Mysteries website this is now premiering May 17, 2020!

"Aurora Teagarden Mysteries: Heist and Seek" was originally scheduled to premiere April 12th, Easter Sunday, but since they needed to finish up some sound work on the movie, it seems it will be delayed.
DeleteIf you look at the Hallmark Movies & Mysteries schedule on April 12th - you will see there is an Aurora Teagarden movie marathon that day, but it does not include, unfortunately, this new movie.
They may have also postponed it, since it may be some time before Hallmark is able to film anything again. They already have "When Calls the Heart" and "When Hope Calls" airing that same night on the Hallmark Channel, so maybe, just MAYBE, they want to hold on to some of their NEW content, just in case.

I absolutely adore you. We never miss an aspiring of aurora teagarden movies. And we were so excited to see there's a new one coming out in Oct. Usually we don't wish time to go by faster, but we are now. You are always the utmost lady like lady on screen anywhere. You are just a joy to watch and you're genuine kindness always comes thru. Keep up the great movies and we'll keep watching
