ReplyDeleteI might get slammed for this comment, but here goes. I think the story is beautiful. I’m trying to not be too harsh in my judgement, and I realize I might be a little too picky because of my high expectation (Andrew Walker in an HMM movie, with this type of storyline...), BUT I just couldn’t get past the lead actress’ portrayal of the character, to the point that the movie almost became boring. I desperately want to like her but I personally felt she needed to be more emotional and convincing as someone who lost her memory. Her character felt a little flat for me, especially for a character who has been through an ordeal. Andrew Walker was still charming though and he was definitely the one who kept me from not finishing the movie. Overall, the whole movie was alright but honestly not something I’d watch again.
ReplyDeleteI was at my daughters for the Holidays and she does not get HM&M so I tape them at home to watch later and keep Christmas around for a little longer. I kept this movie for last because Andrew Walker is my fave Hallmark actor. I always look forward to seeing any movie he is in. This one did not disappoint. I thought Andrew and Ashley were a beautiful, wonderful match for this movie. Of course I like all of his movies, no matter who he is starring with. Loved that I got to see him in two movies this year. Have saved all of his Hallmark, Hallmark Movies and Mysteries and a few other shows, so I can watch anytime. Keep up the good work and thanks for the reviews.
ReplyDeleteI'm in the minority - I'm not usually Andrew Walker's biggest fan, BUT I really liked him in this movie. He seemed more natural in this movie than in others I've watched. I thought Ashley Greene did okay, I didn't find her performance to be lackluster but I also didn't find her to be all that sparkling of a match for Andrew. I really liked some of the supporting cast best of all. I thought it was a cute movie, but not a keeper for the dvr.
