A Doggone Christmas is produced by Lighthouse Pictures. Nancy Bennett and Charles Pugliese serve as executive producers.

Movie Review:

CAUTION - PLEASE NOTE: This movie includes a homosexual couple. If you believe in traditional marriage, as I do, then you will not want this movie to be played in your home.

  1. Just an fyi for those who believe in traditional marriage. Almost to the halfway point of this movie a gay couple was introduced and a big deal was made of congratulating them on their recent marriage, admiring their wedding bands, calling them "Mr. and Mr.", etc.

    1. Thank you, Jane, for making us aware of this. I will be sure to include a notice above. I didn't expect it from this movie, so I guess with Lifetime you never know.

    2. I'm so grateful for these details on content, Jane! With Lifetime I've considered not bothering at all anymore, but then I think of how much I enjoyed Every Other Holiday, for example, and remain hopeful for another gem like that this year. The time you spend screening and sharing is much appreciated!

  2. It seems this is a theme as Winter Storm Megan is.

  3. Thanks for the caution. Saved us another one halfway thru. We Googled this very subject as the Lifetime with Hilarie Burton-a Christmas Wish did the same thing. We deleted it after wasting 40 min. So from now on we REVIEW before watching... and we always DVR!!
