Putting her 100% success rate on the line, Brooklyn matches Stephanie with Devin but they have nothing in common. Determined, Brooklyn feeds lines to Stephanie guaranteed to capture Devin’s heart, and it works! Too bad Brooklyn has just realized she’s in love with Devin. This looks great! Love both actors!!
ReplyDeleteJoyce, I'm looking forward to this one, too! Love that Wes is singing in a movie again! :)
DeleteI thought this may be fall harvest, so happy fall harvest starting a week earlier than people thought, can't wait
ReplyDeleteSabrina, I'm also glad to see this movie included with Fall Harvest. We are getting so close to Christmas now!!!! :)
DeleteI'm not sure what other people thought, but Fall Harvest officially started on the next-to-last Saturday in September in both 2018 and 2017, so they are doing the exact same thing this year. This start date is exactly what I was expecting based on the last 2 Fall Harvest events, although I wasn't sure which movie they would lead with.
DeleteWhen "Over the Moon in Love" was filming, there were no obvious signs of "fall" in the photos that I saw -- no faux autumn trees that I could spot right away. Of course, I did not see the entire outdoor set, so that fake fall foliage might have been there, hiding from the camera! I remember that the cast saw a fantastic rainbow on one of the days. So this makes me wonder if Hallmark had to digitally add in autumnal things to the outdoor scenes to make it look season-appropriate! lol
Now that the movie has been seen, did anyone else notice there were absolutely no signs of fall in the movie. In fact, the actors kept referring to everything taking place in the summer. It seems this movie wasn't originally intended to be part of the "Fall Harvest" lineup. Didn't feel or look like Fall at all.
DeleteI agree, Jack! It certainly felt more like a Spring Fever movie or Countdown to Summer.
DeleteThere was definitely no Fall Harvest feel to it, which made it even more obvious when they premiered it between two great, past Fall Harvest movies... Falling for You and October Kiss.
I wonder if there any new movie(s) for September 7, 2019 on HC
ReplyDeleteThat's right... there doesn't appear to be a new movie on the schedule for that day on the Hallmark Channel; however, it looks like there may be a preview special or something at 11pm/10c.
DeleteBrooklyn & Devin are so geeky in HS when they’re grown up as they reunion
ReplyDeleteYeah, that first press pic after the poster is real cute!
DeleteI'm already loving this! Cute pix!
ReplyDeleteTo start, Jessica Lowndes wrote, starred in, and executive produced this movie. She also wrote the music for it. That is amazing. I love Jessica Lowndes -- I always look forward to her movies.
ReplyDeleteI thought this movie was acted well. I loved the addition of Miranda Frigon...and the premise of a matchmaking business seeking the cover of a magazine spread was a neat plot. I did find the music storyline hard to get into. It didn't seem to blend with the rest of the story, or perhaps was fighting for attention from the main plot. If you are someone that gets uncomfortable with awkward movies (like my husband does and has to run out of the room) this movie was intentionally awkward the whole way through.
The set was fresh...I liked it! I do wish Hallmark hadn't advertised it as a Fall Harvest movie. It had nothing to do with fall.
37 year old Wes Brown dressed up as a geeky guy from high school was pretty funny though.
Amanda D, thank you so much for sharing your thoughts on this movie! Jessica was very sweet in her role and Wes was a lot of fun as her opposite. It was also nice knowing they had a history of being friends for quite some time.
DeleteIt is, I 100% agree, too bad they aired it during Fall Harvest.
This movie had some really fun things about it, and Jessica Lowndes is just radiant! The acting was all good, it was fresh, and Jessica has a gorgeous singing voice.
ReplyDeleteBut, it was full of lying and deceit, and that ruined it for me.
