So, so, so beautiful couple.
ReplyDeleteI so, so, so agree!!! :)
DeleteCan't wait to see!!!
I’m really excited for this movie - I love Jen Lilley! Do you know if the Countdown to Summer replaces Summer Nights from last year? I kind of liked the positioning of the end of summer movies, before we get to Fall Harvest and then Christmas!
ReplyDeleteThanks for always sharing this information with us!
Sarah
I think Summer Nights is still on as there are movies being filmed that fit the Summer Nights theme.
DeleteI also believe Summer Nights is still on because there is a Candace Cameron Bure commercial Hallmark plays and its her talking about all the genres and she says new Countdown to Summer and she also says Summer Nights. The only one she doesn't actually Speak the words of is Fall Harvest, but when you watch the commercial you see the words on tv and Fall Harvest is on that list.
Oh yes... Summer Nights is still on!
DeleteIn fact, during Hallmark's Countdown to Summer Movie Preview Show, Jen Lilley and Chris McNally showed a board with all the various Hallmark Movie events for the year and Summer Nights was definitely there!
I would say, Summer Nights is likely to return, either late July or early August, immediately following Hallmark's Christmas in July event, Keepsake Christmas!
Blessings! Net
I am loving all the 'hide the belly' shots because Jen recently announced she is expecting! Looking forward to seeing Dan in a lead role.
ReplyDeleteMe too, Amanda D! Jen is already adorable, so this makes her doubly sweet! :)
DeleteIt's always interesting to see a new leading man!
Lots of purses, jackets, to cover Jen's growing baby belly :)
ReplyDeleteOh yes, it's rather intriguing to watch and see how they hide the baby - with the expecting Mommy's! I always wonder - for those who don't know, if they pick up on it! :)
Delete1) Winterfest
ReplyDelete2) Countdown to Valentine's Day
3) Spring Fever
4) Countdown to Summer
5) June Weddings
6) Keepsake Christmas
7) Summer Night
8) Fall Harvest
9) Countdown to Christmas
Yes! That's the nine set of Hallmark movie events! I always look forward to each one... especially Christmas!!! :)
DeleteIt will be interesting to see the movie. Looks like by one of the still shots, they might be in front of Notre Dame cathedral. I'm assuming they would keep this in the film, even after the fire recently. Net, do you have any insight on this?
ReplyDeleteI agree, BT615... It certainly does appear that Jen Lilley and Dan Jeanette are standing in front of the Notre Dame Cathedral in one the pictures above. I'm not certain if the location made the movie or if they just happened to take a photo there. From the preview special and pictures above, it looks like they shot some outdoor scenes, so it's quite possible. We'll definitely have to be sure and look for it in the background. They certainly have beautiful architecture in the city of Paris. It was quite sad and devastating to see this amazing Cathedral burn; however, I was so glad no one was hurt and firefighters were able to save so many important, historical and religious artifacts relating to Jesus.
DeleteThank you for this question. Blessings! Net
I loved this movie. Jen Lilley and Dan Jeannotte were adorable together - a "perfect pairing" (pardon the pun). Jacques was entranced with Isabella and his growing love was evident in his facial expressions. That just shows what a great actor Dan is. Jen literally glowed in this movie and she rocked that Gala evening dress. It was a pleasant surprise when Jacques moved to Oregon with his family’s blessing.
DeleteLilley and Jeannotte were interviewed on Home&Family where they said that scene was filmed 1 1/2 weeks before the fire.
Looking fwd to this one set in Paris..I wonder if the location is real and not shot in Quebec or Montreal. Even so charming Jen Lilley and HM newcomer Dan Jeannotte looks like a good pairing. Jen seems be to enceinte - how sweet.
ReplyDeleteThey definitely filmed on location, in Paris, not in Canada. If I am not mistaken, I think some scenes may have been shot in Bulgaria, but I don't know if Jen was in those, and I don't know if those Bulgarian scenes might be "posing as" Paris or some other location! lol I think Jen was mostly in the actual Paris part of the production.
DeleteHello Vee! The location for this movie is, indeed, very real! They shot this movie in the city of Paris! I think it is so wonderful to see Hallmark expand it's filming locations all over the world, plus more in America, as well!
DeleteBlessings! Net
Thanks Net, that is great news! I`m looking fwd to seeing pretty Paris in this production especially prior to the turmoil it has endured the past winter.
DeleteI agree, Vee. Seeing Paris on screen will surely be an emotional, healing experience for many viewers. Thank you for sharing.
DeleteThis movie poster makes it look like she has only one arm...kinda weird that they left it like that:)
ReplyDeleteGreat movie and love the characters. However, it bothers me when the main character who supposedly grew up in the Willamette Valley of Oregon misspronouned it.
ReplyDeleteLoved this movie so hope they will do another because how it ended could defintley be another one. Fingers crossed.
ReplyDeleteThey did a really great job with clothing it showed her figure and hid the cute baby bump. So excited to see Good Witch returns during the break of the movie . Really really hope they do a part two
Jen Lilley has definitely grown to be one of my favorite Hallmark actress. But, to be honest, I'm not really a big fan of this one. The writing and some part of the story were just way too cheesy for my liking. The chemistry also just wasn't strong enough. Dan Jeanotte was adorable though, hopefully we'll get to see him in more Hallmark movies, but preferable not with the French accent :-)
ReplyDeleteI loved the French accent. He did a wonderful job. I also hope for a second movie with these two and the French accent too.
DeleteOne of my favorite Hallmark movies. Loved the Paris scenery. The chemistry between Jen and Dan was great. Jen was vulnerable in the beginning and stronger in the end. Dan was supportive throughout. All in all great movie.
ReplyDeleteDear Net.....yup, im in love with another dress ! Jen's red/coral long sleeve dress is to die for !
ReplyDeleteDo you have any info on it ????
Hello Katy Lynn!!! I have good news and bad news... I found Jen Lilley's dress, BUT it's no longer available.
DeleteI wasn't certain if I would be able to locate it, due to the uncertainty of the color, but then as I searched - there it was!
From what I could see in my research, the dress WAS available from H&M - possibly a couple years ago. You can see it here and here - at places where people sold it afterwards.
I was hoping since they just recently filmed Paris, Wine and Romance this spring - her dress might still be available.
In my search for the dress, I did find some somewhat similar dresses, if you're interested.

Maybe, one of these other dresses will work for you! :)
Blessings, Net
Not sure why, but the first link for the H&M dress doesn't appear to open right. Hopefully, you can see it in the second one! :)
DeleteAnd now that link is working... How interesting.
Deletemy GOODNESS !!!! Net you truly are the BEST !
ReplyDeletei really love your' help, im gonna see what i can find on this dress too....just like the Bethany Joy Lenz polka dot dress is sold out, i have faith that it magically turn up someday, lol .
Oh... How sweet, Katy Lynn! I'm happy to help. If you keep an eye on places like Ebay, etc... You never know! :)
DeleteI liked the red print dress also, but loved the short coral jacket (also in ivory, worn later). Any info on finding it would be appreciated.
ReplyDeleteThis movie finally aired in Canada...and I loved it! It exceeded my expectations (which were pretty good to begin with). Jen Lilley is great and it was great to see Dan starring with her in a lead role. I thought the two of them had great chemistry. The set, the accents, the wardrobe, the story -- everything was really good!
