Looking forward to this one, since Sarah Lancaster is in the movie, it has been a while to see her in a tv movie (Hallmark or another network), loved her in Fir Crazy. I hope in the New Year, we will see more of her.
ReplyDeleteGreat movie. Loved it. Sarah, Gina and Karen had great chemistry and a great storyline. I loved that it dealt with real issues, and it wasn't cutesy or schmaltzy. Sometimes Christmas movies can go overboard with that.
ReplyDeleteHello Jill! Thank you so much for sharing! I love hearing how much you enjoyed this one! It sounds really good, plus I've always like Sarah Lancaster as an actress, too! I'm looking forward to see it now!
DeleteIt's nice to know there was some real true substance to this film. I thought the movie "Every Other Holiday" was good for the same reason on Lifetime. It showed more of a realism of Christmas and family relationships.
Merry Christmas to You!!! Net
This movie is very different from the traditional Hallmark. It explores some different storylines...(underage drinking, divorce, affair, unwed pregnancy etc.) but doesn't go too far. It felt like a real life human story. Sarah Lancaster is very down to earth. I loved the two teenage daughters they played their part well. Jake's character was really interesting.
