πŸŽ„ LACEY CHABERT to host Hallmark Channel's CHRISTMAS MOVIE Preview Show - in JULY!πŸŽ„

Get those DVRs ready now! CHRISTMAS Movies are coming fast and you want to be ready!

Christmas in July will not only be a sweet treat of the refreshing Christmas movies we loved from last season, but Hallmark will also be gifting us with a Preview Show, hosted by one of Hallmark's most prominent leading ladies, Lacey Chabert!

Lacey Chabert - Hallmark Crown Media

Southern Living reports, "On Saturday, July 21st at 10pm/9c (time updated!), Hallmark Channel will air an exclusive special, titled Hallmark Channel’s Christmas First Look. Lacey Chabert will take viewers on a behind-the-scenes journey of some of the first brand-new original holiday movies that will make up this year’s Countdown to Christmas, including an exclusive first look at “Christmas Joy,” starring Danielle Panabaker. If that doesn’t sweeten the deal enough, Happy the Dog (Hallmark’s adorable adopted pet and proclaimed pet ambassador) will be co-hosting the exclusive special."

  1. Oh this is so exciting. I do hope we get a Fall Harvest preview show. I see a movie that's going to start filming called Baking for Keeps, I think that may be the movie that was on one of the Hallmark surveys recently.

I hope this means Lacey will be in a Christmas movie????

Also, I have figured out, Andrew Walker is 1 season/genre away from having a movie in each. He has:

    Winterfest
    Valentines
    Spring Fever
Now he will have June Weddings with WM4
    NO Summer Nights
    Fall Harvest
    and of course Christmas

I think he is the one closest.

    1. Of course there will be a Fall Harvest preview special. There has literally been a preview special for every other event since the holiday season last year. If they're doing preview shows for Winterfest and Spring Fever, obviously there will be one for Fall Harvest too. It won't air until the end of Summer Nights though, or even in early September. It will probably be filmed in August, when enough Fall Harvest movies will have gone into production to be able to pull clips and show them in the preview show.

    2. Yes, this is exciting news to have Lacey Chabert host this preview sneak peek for the upcoming Hallmark Christmas movie season! Maybe we will receive, not only some behind the scenes footage, but possibly some movie titles we've been wondering, whether or not, are Hallmark!?!?

That sounds right to me- with Andrew Walker having the most different seasons/genres of Hallmark movies + he has Hallmark Movies & Mysteries movies, too!

Lacey Chabert is pretty close, with movies in each category, except Winterfest and June Weddings. (Unless, you count "The Color of Rain." It is a wedding movie, but it premiered May 31st on the Hallmark Movie Channel, before they started doing these movie categories.)

This should be such a fun preview of Christmas! :)

    3. Andrew Walker did Summer Nights movie with Nikki Deloach in “Perfect Catch”

    4. Anonymous, "Perfect Catch" was actually a Spring Fever Hallmark Channel baseball movie, but it definitely has a Spring/Summer feel!!!

    1. Working titles, unfortunately, can potentially change... sometimes it's for the better, sometimes it's for the worst. It just depends. It's always possible it may change again.

  4. Christmas in July just got even better, if that's possible! Super Excited over this news, Net! Lacey is by far, my favorite. I take it this means she must be starting in a new Christmas movie this year.

    1. I'm sure that's a safe bet, Em! (Even though I'm not actually betting!) Hallmark certainly knows how much viewers love Lacey's movies! Let's hope she shares something in the preview! :)

  8. Hi, Net. Thank you again for sharing the news with us. I am getting a head start on the 25th by watching Charlie Brown's Snow Days as I type this. Anybody have any suggestions for a good Christmas movie to watch on the 25th? I can't make up my mind what to watch. Any suggestions appreciated. Have a great day, everybody!

    1. Mark, Yes, the 25th is quickly approaching once again! I've been thinking about my Christmas movie choice, but I haven't quite decided, yet. I just watched "Naughty or Nice" the other night since we had been talking here recently about Hilarie Burton's new Lifetime movie, "The Christmas Contract"! It's still so funny!!! A great one to re-watch!

Like I said... I'm not sure what I'll choose for the 25th, but it will most likely be something not playing during Christmas in June/July!

    3. Hey Anna, that is a great suggestion. I wish I had it on DVD, but I am planning to buy it, so I will watch it later this year. Thank you for your suggestion.

  12. I live close to Memphis TN and I saw a posting on Facebook that Hallmark is having a casting call in July for a movie entitled “Christmas at Graceland.” I don’t know any other details, but I am excited to hear that a Christmas movie will be filmed in the mid-south!
