A Diamond in the rough, the last glimpse of the sun before it sets at the end of the day, a whispered prayer, a shooting star... each of these are preciously unique and exceptionally beautiful, much like the Hallmark movie series "Signed, Sealed, Delivered." Whether you have watched one or all of the movies in this series, your heart was undoubtedly touched by the personal stories of each individual character: Oliver, an old-fashioned gentleman, who is determined to be noble and honorable in every mission, great or small, Shane, strong-willed and tech savvy, she's unequivocally Oliver's opposite in every way, yet finding they have more and more in common every day, Rita, sweet, sincere, and smart as a tack, her heart is pure as gold and most trusting, Norman, a man of mystery, who searches for not only lost letters but unconditional love!
As dead letter detectives, while preserving and delivering these lost letters from the past, Oliver, Shane, Rita, and Norman have discovered their own futures together... which is filled with promises, expectations, and perhaps a few bumps in the road, especially in this latest release- "Signed, Sealed, Delivered: The Road Less Traveled." Each turn they make is a road closer to their destination and solving this current mystery, which involves photographs taken by someone on the run! While our POstables are on the chase, they must come to terms with their own crosswords, deciding ultimately which direction to turn next.
"Signed, Sealed, Delivered: The Road Less Traveled" is film #9 in the "Signed, Sealed, Delivered" series. Our POstables are currently filming (SPOILER ALERT!) the 10th movie installment, which has been revealed to be Norman and Rita's wedding, with many previous stars returning alongside the regular cast, including their friend Ramon Rodriguez (Zak Santiago), Oliver's father Joseph O'Toole (Gregory Harrison), Rita's father Bill Haywith (Barry Bostwick), and Norman's Grandmother (Carol Burnett)!
Throughout the years of watching Hallmark movies I have formed an attachment to the "Signed, Sealed, Delivered" series like no other. There's an element of faith that is woven into each story, which always seems to touch me personally. (And so many POstables fans, too!) Waiting for each new one to arrive is much like Christmas morning, knowing there are certain to be surprises, unexpected moments, and thrilling, euphoric emotion! Once a "Signed, Sealed, Delivered" movie starts you never want those credits to roll. It's two hours well spent, and your soul is sure to be enriched by the journey!
From the beginning I've always said... "Hallmark's Signed, Sealed, Delivered will leave a forever stamp on your heart!"
Thank you, Hallmark, for giving us this amazing Signed, Sealed, Delivered series to watch and enjoy with our families; I sincerely pray there will be many more stories to come! I'm also grateful to Martha Williamson for creating such an inspirational series of films that not only touches the heart, but enhances our minds and way of thinking, spiritually and intellectually. To the cast who make up our dear POstables- Eric Mabius, Kristin Booth, Crystal Lowe, and Geoff Gustafson... it was divine providence that brought the four of you together to create this incredible team. I know all of us POstables fans are thankful for each one of you and the unique qualities you bring to your characters!
Join myself and all the devoted POstables this Sunday, February 11, 2018, for a "Signed, Sealed, Delivered" marathon throughout the day and a new movie that night. "Stop" whatever you're doing, "turn" the channel to Hallmark Movies & Mysteries, "slow down," "put on the brakes," find a "rest stop" (your couch will do!) and watch the Premiere of "Signed, Sealed, Delivered: The Road Less Traveled" at a Special Time - 7PM/6c.! Let the movie transport you to a mysterious, fascinating, happy place!
This is a precious gem, Net! Your love for SSD oozes from every line. Each new SSD movie is just like Christmas Day to me, too! That's exactly how I feel! SSD is unique and outstanding, I keep hoping Bill Abbott and Michelle Vicary will announce they are bringing us more SSD movies in 2018 and beyond. Your article today is exactly why I love this site! Thank you for helping to promote SSD and family films.
ReplyDeleteOh, thank you, Anna! How sweet! "Signed, Sealed, Delivered" touches each of our hearts, doesn't it, in explicable ways! You are not alone in hoping for more movies, we must keep believing and "trust the timing"! Many Blessings, Net

ReplyDeleteYes, I believe God speaks to us in many different ways, with these movies. The messages within "Signed, Sealed, Delivered" are deep and powerful. I'm so glad they have touched you.
DeleteBlessings to you, Net
As a guy who likes SSD, I don't always like the gushy stuff, but this time around SSD is talking more of my language with this road trip adventure. I heard Rita on Home & Family say this one involves pictures. That's cool, but I hope they don't stray too far away from solving letter mysteries.
ReplyDeleteI wholeheartedly agree, CJ, the picture idea sounds cool, but please stick to letters!
DeleteThat's cool that you like the road adventure aspect of this new movie. Hope you enjoy the ride!
Many Blessings, Net
Awww! This was a wonderfully written letter, Net! I know that Hallmark, stars/makers and fans of SSD appreciate your wonderful support!

DeleteI sure missed this series when they took it off the Hallmark channel, but I've bought each DVD as they come out. Worth every penny!
ReplyDeleteI know just how you feel, Karen. For a time I only had the Hallmark Channel, and desperately wanted Hallmark Movies & Mysteries, if only for "Signed, Sealed, Delivered." The day we added HMM to our DirecTV package was a great day! You should look into it - there are so many wonderful movies on there, with SSD and many others! I do hope they come out with a DVD for The Road Less Traveled soon - so you can see it, too. Blessings, Net
DeleteThank you! That's all i can say.
ReplyDeleteOh, you're welcome! :) Blessings, Net

How did you find out Carol Burnett is there filming? I never heard anything about that!
ReplyDeleteGreat question, Andrew! Actually, Kristin Booth (Shane) revealed this exciting bit of news in an interview recently. You can read it here - "Interview With Screenwriter Tim Ware and Executive Producer Kristin Booth, “Winter’s Dream” by Ruth Hill."
DeleteIt's truly a wonderful, fun Q&A chat... hope you enjoy it!
Blessings! Net
Thats AWESOME! Thank you, Net!
DeleteNet, that was beautifully expressed! I am in awe! We are Hallmark fans for life! You are appreciated! “Signed, Sealed and Delivered” is to be highly commended for providing thought provoking, adventure packed and humorous story lines! I would like to see Hallmark get away from so many murder mysteries. SSD proves there are other ways to provide mystery and adventure and still draw a large viewing audience. (Maybe one day Hallmark will even include a good series in a hospital setting. Wasn’t Kellie Martin in ER years ago?) Looking forward to SSD #10! Thanks!
ReplyDeleteYes, Kellie Martin was on ER. I recall because I had watched the series, in the beginning, then stopped for awhile, and picked it back up again when she joined the cast as a young med student named Lucy Knight. Unfortunately, in the end, her character was tragically killed by a deranged man in the ER. It was a shocking episode, which left many fans speechless, and some upset at Kellie's abrupt departure from the show. It does, however, go down in history as one of the most memorable episodes of the series.
DeleteAnyway...
So glad to hear how much you enjoy and are looking forward to the next "Signed, Sealed, Delivered" movie. I agree... it is nice to have Mysteries that aren't creepy and murder related, instead these are just the opposite... they are intriguing, fascinating, uplifting puzzles, which genuinely makes one feel good once they are solved!
Enjoy watching! Blessings, Net
(Net, please accept my apology. I never saw that it ended that way. I will try to be more aware of my facts before commenting.) For your kind and gentle words, I thank you.
DeleteOh, please know, you don't need to apologize at all. Kellie Martin was wonderful on ER, until sadly, that last episode. I think a doctor series is definitely a good idea for a Hallmark movie or series. That would be full of drama!
DeleteThank you for sharing that and your love of "Signed, Sealed, Delivered!" and simpler mysteries. "Darrow and Darrow" seems to fit that description, as well, based on their first movie. Hope that continues!
Also, thank you so much for your sweet, kind words on my post above. Have a wonderful rest of the weekend and enjoy the new " Signed, Sealed, Delivered"! Blessings, Net :)
I relate so well to this post. Beautifully written from the heart......thank you Net! Cannot wait for Sunday eve!!!
ReplyDeleteThank you, Kerry! Your response was so endearing and sweet. I so appreciate your lovely comment and your friendship! Enjoy the new SSD! Blessings to you, Net
DeleteThank you all for sharing your love and overwhelming support for "Signed, Sealed, Delivered!" What a blessing each of your comments have been as we look forward to this latest installment of our beloved show!
ReplyDeleteIn spite of it being at an earlier time, I know my fellow POstables are going to "trust the timing" and simply enjoy!
Blessings to you all!!! Net
Net, you brought tears to my eyes. How beautiful your God inspired depiction of our beloved SSD series/movies was. I only pray that their writers/cast gets to read your glorious review and understands what a blessing these movies have been to all of us who watch these gems!! God bless you, sweet Net!!
ReplyDeleteLinda, When a Hallmark movie can touch so many hearts and lives, and bring tears to our eyes, it must be precious, indeed.
DeleteYou are so right, each SSD story is a blessing to us, and touches many lives in unmeasurable ways. Thank you for your touching, warm, thoughtful comment.
It's a joy to know all of us dear friends, and POstables, will be watching this premiere together!
God's Blessings to You, Net
(Oh, by the way... Kristin Booth (Shane) was very sweet to reply to this on Twitter and share with her followers!)
