Out of respect for the lives lost in Las Vegas last night, the worst mass-shooting in American history, I have decided to not post anything movie related today. My heart is breaking for the innocent people who were simply attending a country music concert with friends and loved ones; I know many of us are earnestly praying for their grieving families now and those who are still injured, in body and spirit.
God's Blessings to those who ran toward danger to help their fellow mankind and made the ultimate, heroic sacrifice. This is such an awful, senseless tragedy for our country, an incredibly sad day.
Praying for all touched by this.
Take care and be safe everyone, Net
Well said Net! This is such a senseless tragedy! We live in very serious times. I believe we are living in the last days before Christ returns.
ReplyDeleteLove and prayers to all the families and to our our great country!
Yes, Joyce, He said these things will happen in the last days. Many will fall from the right of us, many will fall from the left of us but we, who believe, will remain standing and we must believe with all of our heart that our Jesus will save us from such evil!! Beautiful tribute, Net! My heart cries for the fallen and I pray peace and strength for the families.
DeleteThat is very well said Net. So sad. Madelon
ReplyDeleteMy dear Net, like many of the followers on this wonderful web blog of yours it’s is indeed a treble story unfolding in Las Vegas right now and your recent post is heart-breaking. I live in Manchester (United Kingdom) where as you know we had our own unfortunate event in May of this year. The World is becoming someone tricky right now with incidents popping up all over the place, and, as your country (and those around the World) shared their love with Manchester back in May we must now return the love back to you. Hallmark Movies & Drama’s allow us to escape for a few hours a day (or more if time permits ! ) and I hope we can continue to enjoy the channel’s output whilst keeping our eye’s ( and ears ) on the bigger drama’s that take place regretfully beyond out TV Screens - My thoughts are with you , your friends and all those affected
ReplyDeleteThank you for your respect and prayers as I live in Las Vegas and am heartbroken but seeing our community and country pull together after this event brings hope.
ReplyDeleteBerylie, even in the midst of tragedy God paves the way to eternity. 22,000 country music fans stood in the arena singing, "God Bless America", moments before 59 of them were unmercifully assassinated. They now rest in the arms of our Savior. Pray for those left behind. Peace...
DeletePrayers lifted.
