I love this little hint of Christmas, before Christmas, don't you???
The world certainly needs a little Christmas now... the warmth, laughter, merriment, joy, and especially "Peace on earth, goodwill to men." (Luke 2:14)
I hope you all enjoy both the Hallmark Channel and Hallmark Movies & Mysteries Christmas preview shows tonight on the Hallmark Channel with Candace Cameron Bure and Holly Robinson Peete!
Or, you can watch "Murder She Baked: A Plum Pudding Mystery" with Alison Sweeney, Cameron Mathison, Barbara Niven, and Lisa Durupt tonight on Hallmark Movies & Mysteries!
Blessings to you also, Net! I appreciate your time/work to help all of us stay connected to programming that is family friendly, especially as we enter the busy holiday season. I don't know a lot of people IRL who enjoy these shows and movies and love being able to come here, where we can share our anticipation and enthusiasm. Can't wait for your countdown clock to reach zero :)

"The world certainly needs a little Christmas now... the warmth, laughter, merriment, joy, and especially "Peace on earth, goodwill to men." (Luke 2:14)"
ReplyDeleteThis says it all Net. Describes exactly what the world needs and what we here know and feel in our hearts especially at this time of the year. The warmth, glee, light, and joy of the Christmas season are tangible touches that our Lord allows us to experience as direct encounters with His light if only our hearts are open to it and to Him. These gifts we experience during this Christmas season are direct touches with Heaven. It's a time when we drop our shields of skepticism and we allow God's light to penetrate us even if we don't realize what is behind all these warm feelings.
So what is the touching grace behind all of this? It's because in everything about Christmas, from the movies to the lights to Charlie Brown, to it all, it's all about love at the heart of it. We get to taste the perfect love of God if only in a smaller dose here on earth. God's love is in it all. God's love is behind all these wonderful warm feelings that we experience so powerfully at this time of the year.
Beautifully expressed, Jim! I so admire and appreciate your words of wisdom! You always shine your light so brightly and I am warmed by the the glow of it, a direct reflection of Christ's love!
DeleteEnjoy each and every Christmas movie... It's the most wonderful time of the year!!! ;)
Blessings to you, Jim!!! Net
