Via some press information... it looks like Debbie Macomber's Dashing Through the Snow will premiere on HMM. But, I'm still looking for that to be officially confirmed. :)
ReplyDeleteABC Family Countdown to 25 days of Christmas. AND,,, ABC Family 25 days of Christmas?
ReplyDeleteYay!

BTW, I see that North Pole Open for Christmas will be out in DVD in Nov! Wow!

I saw the DTTS reference on the press/media page, and I am also waiting for confirmation. Since it vanished from both sneak preview pages on the Hallmark website, it is suspicious. It may premiere on Hallmark and then immediately go to HMM, or vice versa. That 12/13/15 slot is still open!
ReplyDeleteAwesome! Thanks for posting. I think it's really weird that they STILL don't have any cast info for Christmas Land and that they've changed the names on several of these AFTER the "official" announcement a few weeks ago seems really odd.
ReplyDeleteStill no Christmas Land cast?? How odd! Also, other outlets are reporting that the Mariah Carey movie, now called The Melody of Christmas, will be the final Countdown film, but Hallmark Channel still lists the no-info Christmas Land. Wonder if it will just vanish?
ReplyDeleteThis is what I have been saying on this website, under different posts. The movie might just vanish. As we can see, Hallmark has no problem with removing things, changing titles, moving the premiere dates around, etc. -- even after they have announced movies AND announced which channels they will be on. I kind of hate that they do that. Once they announce something it should be official.
DeleteMy guess is that they stuck "Christmas Land" in at the very end because the fate of the movie is uncertain. I think that Mariah's movie probably would have been the final movie in the Countdown, but because "Christmas Land" is up in the air it was thrown in last just to give them time to shoot it. Obviously, even if it were being filmed right now, it wouldn't be ready to air in November, so a 12/20 date buys them a bit more time to try to get it made.
I am guessing that something went haywire with the filming of "Christmas Land," causing a delay. One of the actors must have had to drop out, or maybe the director had to drop out. Perhaps one of the locations ended up not working. Something must have gone wrong and caused the delay. If an actor dropped out, for example, Hallmark could, of course, get another actor to fill in, but they might have to wait a bit longer for that actor's schedule to clear before beginning filming.
In any case, if the movie can't be completed in time to make the 12/20 air date, Hallmark will just sweep "Christmas Land" under the rug and pretend like it was never on the schedule, and then, miraculously, the movie will either appear for Christmas in July or NEXT year's Countdown to Christmas! Lol.
Whew!!....and updating you have done, Net!! I'm tired for you, lol! Lot of work!!
