via UP Press Release:
In Angels in the Snow, the affluent, yet troubled Montgomery family hits the road for a special Christmas in the mountains. Workaholic real estate developer Charles (Chris Potter) hopes to mend fences with his wife Judith (Kristy Swanson), a former NY fashion editor, and reconnect with his cell-phone-dependent, squabbling children – Alexander (15, Nick Purcha), Jennifer (14, Lizzie Boys) and Emily (10, Jaeda Lily Miller) – by surprising them all with a getaway to unveil the ultra-modern, luxurious, fully-stocked cabin in the woods that he has designed and built. Sadly, his good intentions are quickly dashed when a powerful blizzard descends and traps the Montgomerys in their new “dream home.” With Judith and Charles arguing, little Emily makes a wish that her parents will stay together. Hours later, as fierce winds batter the cabin, a knock on the door jolts the family awake.
To their surprise, another family – the Tuckers – are shivering on their doorstep. While unhurt, they are half-frozen, exhausted and in need of shelter from the storm. Their van slid off the snow-covered road. High school history teacher Joe Tucker (Colin Lawrence), his wife/nurse Amy (Catherine Lough Haggquist), and their two kids Robbie (16, Kolton Stewart) and Lucie (15, Alexandra Siouras) are grateful to be welcomed in. As the families wait out the storm, it soon becomes evident that the Tuckers offer an example of love, togetherness and caring that is seemingly gone from the Montgomerys’ lives. But perhaps the Tuckers’ example – and friendship – can reignite the Montgomery family’s spirit this season.

UP has really upped their game. They are giving Hallmark some competition as this movie sounds real cute.
ReplyDeleteYou are absolutely right, they have UPped their game! I love your play on words! It is fun to see all these movies in the creation process!
DeleteAngels in the Snow is movie to see and it is really good. You must see it this year in 2016 or go out and buy it, as soon as possible. Too die for movie.
DeleteGo out and find it and buy it.
DeleteThis is why your site is my favorite, Net. Christmas movie news in February! Yippee!
ReplyDeleteOh, thank you!!! I'm glad you enjoy my site! It's my joy to share Christmas news any day of the year! I'm just simply thrilled you all love Christmas as much as I do!
DeleteI am so excited to hear this Christmas movie news. I've loved Kristy since Christmas Wish, so I can't wait to see this one. Chris Potter is a great actor, too. I find it strange he isn't a part of the new Good Witch season. Anyone know why?
ReplyDeleteI love "A Christmas Wish", too! Those children and Kristy capture my heart! And, Chris is great on Heartland. I'm not sure why he isn't in the new Hallmark series, or what became of his character. I am not personally watching or promoting "The Good Witch" series.
DeleteI loved Kristy in the Christmas Wish also. The gazebo scene was an academy award performance that truly made me cry. It was a gentle reminder of miracles given by our Lord just for the asking. I'm looking forward to this new Christmas movie!!
ReplyDeleteYes, that gazebo scene is such a wonderful turning point in the movie "A Christmas Wish". Precious! I didn't get to see it as much this last Christmas season since they moved it to Hallmark Movies & Mysteries, so I had to put in my DVD. It is altogether a beautiful story and message!
DeleteThis seems like a fun movie. I'm glad that there are two really go to places for Christmas movies.

Does anyone know what happened to the Snow Bride dvd? Was supposed to be released today I checked walmart's site and amazon and nothing on either one.
ReplyDeleteAccording to FedEx, my Snow Bride DVD should be delivered to me tomorrow (10/7). It's on its way! (I, too, ordered it from Walmart).
DeleteSo excited for this one
ReplyDeleteI watched Angels in the Snow tonight on UP. It's really an excellent, heartwarming movie! I was thinking it would be another cliche feel good movie, but the acting was good (even the kids!) And the men are gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteI really enjoyed Angels in the Snow, great chemistry between all the actors. The little girl who played Emily is such a cutie. I haven't read the book that the movie is based on, so I certainly wasn't expecting that storyline twist in the movie. I was certainly surprised.
ReplyDeleteANGELS IN THE SNOW was a great movie. Will it be out on DVD?
ReplyDeleteWould like to publish this movie on dvd
ReplyDeleteWhen does Angels in the Snow come out on DVD for purchase.
ReplyDeleteIts available on VOD
