The daytime talk show, "Regis & Kelly", is traveling to PEI, the Beautiful Prince Edward Island, in Canada, where the story and setting of the Wonderful Movie, Anne of Green Gables, takes place. (More details below - between Anne Photos!)
A BIG THANK YOU to my Sweet and Precious Sister (My very own Diana and kindred spirit!) who discovered this bit of news, and I in turn, am sharing it with you!
I am not certain to what extent they will highlight the Anne of Green Gables Movies. Perhaps they will visit some of the set that still remains standing. Kevin Sullivan, who Produced the "Anne" Movies sent out a statement that the show, "Regis & Kelly", would be doing a tribute to Anne of Green Gables.
The "Anne" set is one of the most popular attractions for visitors and tourists who visit the Island, so of course, it should be shown in great detail. I look forward to seeing the beautiful island and how they will feature it all!
Regis & Kelly will be taping a total of four shows on July 12-13 (airing July 12-15, 2010), at the Confederation Landing Park on the historic Charlottetown waterfront, on PEI.
Regis & Kelly airs in syndication. Please check your local channels for times airing.
