Christmas Cheer & Mystery Premiere: Great American Family Releases New Christmas Promo and Ainsley McGregor Date

Hope you're all enjoying a fantastic weekend so far! Just popping in to share two exciting new promos from Great American Family today!

The first promotion below is for A Christmas List of Blessings, starring Shae Robins and Christopher Russell, which of course, is premiering this upcoming Christmas season on Great American Family.

Storyline via Great American Media:
In A Christmas List of Blessings, Natalie (Robins), a children’s book illustrator struggling with creative burnout, finds unexpected inspiration when she comes across a little girl’s Christmas gift list. Unlike other children’s Christmas lists, Caroline writes her list of heartfelt prayers to Jesus, requesting blessings for her family, friends, and community – including one to ask that her recently widowed dad (Russell) will find happiness again. Touched by Caroline’s list, Natalie begins to secretly fulfill each blessing. In turn, she is inspired to create a new character, Adeline the Angel, to illustrate the ways Jesus quietly works through everyday people to answer prayers with love and grace.

In the mystery, Ainsley McGregor Mysteries: A Case For The Yarn Maker, Ainsley McGregor (Bure) a former Chicago criminologist, has moved back to her hometown of Sweet River, Texas, to teach criminology at the local university while also being the owner/operator of Bless Your Arts, a shop for community artists. Bless Your Arts is honoring a true Yarn Goddess, heiress of Real Wool, Ellie Mitchum who arrives with a cold demeanor before turning up cold, as in dead. At stake in the mystery is the future of Ellie’s Fortune 500 company and her feuding family angling for control. As always, Ainsley relies on her brother, Sheriff Ryan, her boyfriend, fireman Jake (Ashmore), and the eccentric band of sleuths who masquerade as a Book Club to solve the crime. Whatever the mystery, Ainsley McGregor is always on the case.

Happy Saturday, everyone! I just had to share these two exciting new promos that Great American Family released today!

The first one, featured in my main image above, is Timeless Tidings of Joy, starring Candace Cameron Bure, Paul Greene, and Natasha Bure! I’m especially thrilled about this one since it takes us all the way back to 1945 for a magical Christmas journey through time!

The visuals already remind me of It’s a Wonderful Life, A Biltmore Christmas, Journey Back to Christmas, and even possibly a touch of Back to the Future- all rolled into one! I have a strong feeling this heartwarming film is going to be a standout favorite this holiday season!

🎂 My "When Hope Calls" Birthday Celebration... Plus, The Season 2 Finale Preview!

As season 2 of "When Hope Calls," with all of its incredible heartwarming stories, lighthearted humor, and heroic missions, draws to an end this coming Sunday, I wanted to be sure to share with you all some pictures from my "When Hope Calls"-themed birthday party in April and the newest preview of the finale, which will also include a special celebration!

I called my birthday theme "When Hope Springs" to incorporate the show and this beautiful season of renewal and fresh beginnings! The series "When Hope Calls" draws inspiration from the works of one of my favorite authors, Janette Oke, and the title When Hope Springs New is actually among her many delightful books.

My momma, sister, and I had a wonderful time making and decorating the cake and cupcakes you see in the pictures here. It's always enjoyable for us to create birthday and holiday celebrations together. They are both amazingly creative! I was also blessed to have many family members attend my birthday party. Just being together is the greatest joy!

My sweet sister cross-stitched the Happy Birthday, When Hope Springs, and the little house seen on top of the cake. She has such an incredible talent for creating things and designing. I'm always amazed by her!

I was also gifted this lovely book (pictured above): The Wordsearch Book: Hope with Quotes & Scriptures. With the title of the book being Hope, it was such a fitting present, complementing my "When Hope Calls" party theme perfectly. This uplifting book directs hearts to Jesus and instills a sense (as the title suggests) of hope! The Wordsearch Book is available at Amazon - see here.

On top of the Hope book, you can see in the picture above a delicate gold-chain bracelet. Engraved on this bracelet is the word, Sister. This was a special gift from my dear sister, since the origin of the "When Hope Calls" series was, of course, initially about two sisters. The bracelet is also available via Amazon, see here.

In the picture, you might also see the season 12 DVD of "When Calls the Heart," and a "When Calls the Heart" board game! (So fun!) Both are avilable at the Edify online store.

Great American Media has released 2 new promos for the series via Parade.com.

“When Hope Calls” season 2 premieres April 6th on Great American Family and April 3rd on Great American Pure Flix (streaming).

Great American Family Drops New Promo for "County Rescue," "When Hope Calls," and "Vindication"

Exciting news! A brand new promo (see below) from Great American Family states that beginning with "County Rescue," the channel will have a new episode from a TV series EVERY Sunday night until Christmas 2025 begins!

"County Rescue" is currently set to begin its second season on Great American Family on Sunday, February 23rd.

The series stars Julia Reilly, Riley Hough, Percy Bell, Kristin Wollett, Brett Varvel, Stacey Patino, Tim Perez-Ross, and Angel Luis.

"When Hope Calls" will start its season 2 on Great American Family on Sunday, April 6th, with returning cast members and an additional cast! (You can also look for the family drama even sooner on Great American Pure Flix - on April 3rd!)

The series stars Cindy Busby, Christopher Russell, Nick Bateman, Wendy Crewson, Hanneke Talbot, Morgan Kohan, Ryan-James (RJ) Hatanaka, Trevor Donovan, Jon McLaren, Sarah Fisher, and Jesse Hutch.

The premiere date for "Vindication" is currently unknown. The faith-based crime drama has three seasons presently airing on Great American Pure Flix.

The series stars Todd Terry, Venus Monique, Peggy Schott, Emma Elle Roberts, Steve Mokate, Masey McClain, Ben Davies, Ashley Bratcher, Rachel Hendrix, Jeff Fenter, Major Dodge, and Jordan Elsass.

Has Lacey Chabert Finally Found The One? ❤️ New Promo Reveals All...

Lacey Chabert has a new Valentine-themed movie premiering this weekend on the Hallmark Channel, but first she teases fans with what looks like a new movie promotion; however, the promo ends up being something else entirely!

Instead of the traditional movie trailer, in good fun Lacey Chabert spoof's the usual tropes found in her romantic comedies... you know, city girl returns to her parent's home in the country, they welcome her with loving arms, her father makes the usual dad jokes, while her mom gives her loving advice, and then she reconnects with her past love. However, Lacey's main love interest in this promo is somewhat unexpected, but still delightfully amusing.

In a comment here on my blog, I was just chatting with Jim (who is a dear friend and follower here) about how hearing Great American Family's Christmas movie commercial, which features Bing Crosby singing, "It's Beginning to Look A Lot Like Christmas," gives me goosebumps EVERY TIME I hear it. And while new holiday songs or jingles in the Christmas promos are fun, too, there's nothing quite like the nostalgia of classic Christmas songs like this one! Unfortunately, GAF didn't upload their promo to YouTube with this song, but the music box version of "We Wish You a Merry Christmas" is still lovely. See below. I believe this is the first time Great American Family has used the title "Get Him Back for Christmas" for Carlos and Alexa PenaVega's movie. Both Carlos and Alexa have used it on social media, but GAF usually referred to it as Love at the Kettle (wt). So, finally, this alternate title has been confirmed.

Also, according to this promo, Mario Lopez's movie is once again being referred to as the film's original title, "My Grown Up Christmas Wish."

Cameron Mathison is also seen in the promo; beginning today he and Candace Cameron Bure are filming her second Christmas movie for the network this Christmas season, titled "The Sweetest Christmas" (previously known as: "Jingle Bells, Wedding Bells").

🎄 Great American Family's "A Royal Christmas Ball" Promo - Starring Danica McKellar and Oliver Rice 👑 See Here:

Great American Family is rolling out the red carpet for Danica McKellar's new royal-themed Christmas movie, A Royal Christmas Ball!

This movie is the latest to be filmed and promoted on their channel for the upcoming 2024 Great American Christmas movie season. See the promo for this movie below.


Here's what we know, so far, about this movie:

A Royal Christmas Ball will include waltzes choreographed by “Dancing With the Stars” professional dancer Gleb Savchencko. It is currently set to premiere this November on Great American Family.

Story synopsis via Great American Media: "In A Royal Christmas Ball, Chelsea Jones (Danica McKellar) is a dance instructor and studio owner in Chicago who inspires kids to find themselves through dance. Just before Christmas, Chelsea discovers a photo she’s never seen before. Chelsea thinks the young woman is her birth mother who passed away when she was only five years old. The woman is in a wedding dress tugging on the hand of a man wearing a wedding ring, but that is all that can be seen of the man Chelsea believes may be her father. The photo’s handwritten inscription reads, “Our place, Havenshire, December 23, 1984.” With only the internet, a plane ticket, and lifelong determination to go on, Chelsea now has four days in Havenshire to solve the mystery of her birth family. Along the way, she’ll have to sneak into a castle, teach a stubborn Prince how to dance, and be in just the right place on Christmas Eve when the bells toll."


A Royal Christmas Ball Promo:

Great American Family is currently using the title A Royal Christmas Ball to promote this film; however, there is a previous ION Christmas movie with the same title from 2017. Danica has said the title may change to A Cinderella Christmas Ball or something similar, so be sure to stay tuned IF there are any title changes or updates.

Of course, Danica McKellar is well-known for a number of TV and Christmas movies; notably, A Crown for Christmas is her most popular royal-themed Christmas movie to date. A Royal Christmas Ball will be her third royal film for Great American Family. The Winter Palace aired in 2022, and A Royal Date for Christmas aired in 2023.



More Great American Family News - In Case You Missed It:

Christmas in July is coming to Great American Family! Great American Media CEO Bill Abbott shared this exciting news in his latest insider email with this statement, "Movie enthusiasts can rest assured that we will go back to movies with Christmas in July, and then we will have a very strong slate of new, original movies through the end of 2024!"

Further information has not been released yet about when Christmas in July will begin, so please be sure to stay tuned for additional details. Last year, Great American Family ran Christmas movies 24/7 from July 1st to July 17th, and then from July 18th to July 30th, the channel aired three Christmas movies each night, from 6pm to 12am (EST). We will have to wait and see if the network plans to run a similar programming slate for Christmas in July this year.

At the end of July, Bill shared with his followers that we can expect to see the return of Great American Pure Flix films on Monday nights, beginning with GOD’S COUNTRY SONG on Monday, July 29th, and HEAVEN SENT on Monday, August 6th. MR. MANHATTAN, starring Alexa and Carlos PenaVega, will premiere May 23rd on the streaming source Great American Pure Flix and is projected to premiere on Great American Family in September.

Bill also promises, "There be much more to come in August, September and certainly at Christmas, including a mystery featuring Candace..." The Ainsley McGregor Mysteries: A Case for the Winemaker, starring Candace Cameron Bure, is set to premiere sometime later this year.

At this point, I know some viewers are disappointed with the reruns of classic programming airing on Great American Family. Hopefully, this explanation from Bill Abbott will help explain, "The reason we have been airing older series content is the number of people who watch these shows is double, and sometimes triple, the number who watch movies according to Nielsen. While we also love our movies and would much prefer to offer these rather than old series, we need to reach the biggest audience possible to be viable to advertisers."

So, if you want to support Great American Family and the content they are building on their network, we will all have to wait a little longer as the network continues to grow its library of films and expands its viewership. When Christmas in July or the movies begin again, be sure to tell your family and friends to tune in.

I wasn't planning on posting anything else over this Easter holiday weekend; however, Great American Family released a brand new promo for their 2024 Christmas movie season, and I couldn't resist quickly sharing it with you all!

In the promo video below, you'll see newcomers to Christmas movies on Great American Family: Mario Lopez and Rhiannon Fish. While this is Mario's first movie for the network, Rhiannon previously starred in the GFAM romantic comedy A Prince in Paradise. This all-new Christmas movie she is starring in, A Royal Proposal: A Royal in Paradise II, is a sequel to that film, and Mitchell Bourke will return as her co-star.

Another highlight in the promo is a quick clip of Candace Cameron Bure standing beside her new Christmas movie co-star! See if you recognize him in the promo. If not, I'll give you details below.

Isn't it exciting to get this little taste of Christmas and what is to come on Great American Family? They are promising more movies filled with "faith, family, and romance"!

Did you recognize Candace's co-star? If not, that's Eric Johnson, who you may recall from various TV movies throughout the years... Valentine Ever After, Fir Crazy, and one of my all-time favorites, Call Me Mrs. Miracle.

I hope you enjoyed seeing this Christmas movie promo over Easter weekend! Now, I must get back to the kitchen as I'm preparing some dishes for our family Easter meal tomorrow, and I'm sure many of you are busy, as well.

🔎 Promo Released for Candace Cameron Bure's New Great American Family Mystery "The Ainsley McGregor Mysteries: A Case for the Winemaker" 🔎 #Sleuthers SEE HERE:

During Monday evening's latest airing of Great American Family's series "County Rescue," the network surprised viewers with a short promo for Candace Cameron Bure's new mystery movie, "The Ainsley McGregor Mysteries: A Case for the Winemaker."

In this current promo, we see quick snippets of scenes from the new GFAM mystery, along with one clip of Candace with her co-star, Aaron Ashmore. The premiere date was not given, but we were given a clue.

Great American Family revealed that this mystery, "The Ainsley McGregor Mysteries: A Case for the Winemaker," will premiere on the network sometime later this year, so we'll have to wait just a little longer to see it. See the video below.

Candace Cameron Bure shared this viewpoint in Great American Media's press release for the film, "There's nothing more exciting for me than being back in the cozy mystery genre. Mysteries are so fun to watch and to try to solve. I hope our faithful fans and audiences fall in love with the townspeople of Sweet River, Texas, and Ainsley McGregor's keen eye for solving mysteries."

I'm so looking forward to seeing Great American Family's Easter movie, and I don't know about you, but I'm getting more and more excited about Great American Family's New Franchise of Mystery movies coming!
