The ceremony will be held on Friday, February 6 at the Avalon Theatre in Hollywood. It will be an evening celebrating hope and inspiration, and will be broadcast on the Great American Family network in the coming weeks and available to stream on Great American Pure Flix.

Happy Saturday, everyone! I just had to share these two exciting new promos that Great American Family released today!

The first one, featured in my main image above, is Timeless Tidings of Joy, starring Candace Cameron Bure, Paul Greene, and Natasha Bure! I’m especially thrilled about this one since it takes us all the way back to 1945 for a magical Christmas journey through time!

The visuals already remind me of It’s a Wonderful Life, A Biltmore Christmas, Journey Back to Christmas, and even possibly a touch of Back to the Future- all rolled into one! I have a strong feeling this heartwarming film is going to be a standout favorite this holiday season!

Exciting news today, everyone! Great American Media has officially announced one of Candace Cameron Bure's new Christmas movies, Timeless Tidings of Joy, which is set to premiere this upcoming 2025 Christmas season on Great American Family and Great American Pure Flix.

I am delighted that her co-star is Paul Greene, who also starred alongside Candace (as we devoted Christmas movie watchers know) in the 2015 holiday movie, A Christmas Detour! (Yes, it was 10 YEARS AGO!!!) It will be so fun to see the two of them together again. A Christmas Detour has always been one of my personal favorites of Candace's Christmas movies.

In Timeless Tidings of Joy, Ally (Candace Cameron Bure), inherits Timeless Tidings, a shop her grandmother, Joy (Natasha Bure), opened in the 1940s to sell her handmade letter-press tidings. The shop was a labor of love, service, and sacrifice throughout the decades for Joy. Ally always saw Joy’s sacrifices for the shop as a burden on Joy’s life and happiness. When Ally returns to the shop to prepare it for sale, she meets Bennett (Paul Green), an old soul, who wants to preserve her Grandma Joy’s legacy. As Ally and Bennett navigate the next steps, divine intervention forces them both to take a new, or rather old look at the fate of the shop and themselves.

🎂 Happy Birthday, Candace Cameron Bure! 🔎 Sleuthers, Can YOU Solve this "Aurora Teagarden" Mystery? 🔎 👀 SEE HERE:

I thought this would be a fun post, in honor of Candace Cameron Bure's birthday today on April 6th! This is a little "Aurora Teagarden" mystery - I recently discovered... 🔎

When "Aurora Teagarden: Haunted by Murder" first premiered Sunday night, February 20, 2022, on Hallmark Movies & Mysteries, Hallmark released the poster seen above, which features Candace Cameron Bure (as librarian, Aurora Teagarden) and Niall Matter (as college professor, Nick Miller). The newly married couple is featured up close in the foreground, side by side, with Nick shining a flashlight, while the mystifying haunted house appears ominously in the background with a shadowy figure standing in one of the upstairs windows. The caption on the poster reads, "Every home has it secrets."

I noticed a few weeks ago, while I was looking at other movie images, that Hallmark updated the previous key art for "Aurora Teagarden: Haunted by Murder" with a new poster that features Candace Cameron Bure (Aurora "Roe" Teagarden), Lexa Doig (Aurora's best friend, Sally), and their real-life daughters, Natasha Bure and Mia Shanks (who portrayed the teen versions of Roe and Sally in this movie). The haunted house remains in the shadows in the background; however, you'll notice there is a new caption: "As a teen, she witnessed a crime. As an adult, she's returned to solve it." See the new poster below...

So... What do you think? Do you like the original key art with Aurora and Nick or do you prefer the new poster with Aurora, Sally, and their teen versions?

My take...

Although I feel rather bad for Niall being removed from the original key art, I personally prefer the new poster best. By the way, Niall has been featured on 7 previous posters! This is the first time, however, Sally has appeared on one of the "Aurora" posters, and I think it's been a long time coming, especially since actress Lexa Doig has been with the "Aurora Teagarden" series since the very beginning as Roe's bestie and co-conspirator in sleuthing, even if she's a little unwilling, at times, due to being squeamish! It's also fun to see Candace and Lexa's daughters featured on this new cover with them, since the key part of this film was looking back to their past.

I'll be curious to see what image they use if they release this movie individually on DVD. I would love to know your thoughts on the posters, as well! Please share your pick in comments below.

Aurora Teagarden Movies on DVD:

Candace Cameron Bure & daughter, Natasha, Star Together in NEW "Aurora Teagarden" Movie! 🔎

There is some extra fun news newly released from the next installment of the Hallmark Movies & Mysteries' mystery series "Aurora Teagarden!" Candace Cameron Bure (who stars as Aurora Teagarden Miller, the sleuthing librarian) and her real-life daughter, Natasha, are starring together in the all new "Aurora Teagarden Mysteries: Haunted by Murder."

You may recall, Candace and her daughter, Natasha, also starred together in "Switched For Christmas," the Hallmark Channel Countdown to Christmas movie from 2017 in which Candace portrayed twin sisters who traded places. In that previous Christmas movie, Natasha portrayed Candace's daughter.

Eonline recently released all the details + some great press shots from this upcoming film. Natasha will portray the teenage version of her mother in this all new "Aurora Teagarden" mystery. Plus, the younger actress playing the teen version of Sally Allison, Aurora's bestie, is Lexa Doig's real-life daughter, Mia Shanks.

According to the article at E!, Hallmark has released this story synopsis: "When Aurora Teagarden and her best friend, Sally Allison, were teenagers, they entered the infamous 'haunted' Crenshaw Mansion on a dare and, to their shock, came upon a dead body in a secret room! It's twenty years later, and Aurora's mother, Aida, has bought the Crenshaw Mansion with plans to renovate and sell, dismissing the notion that the house is haunted."

Also, starring in this movie, are Niall Matter as Nick Miller, Marilu Henner as Aida Teagarden, Lexa Doig as Sally Allison, Peter Benson as Arthur Smith, Miranda Frigon as Lynn Smith, Dylan Sloane as Phillip Pifer, Ellie Harvie as Lillian Tibbett, Cole Vigue as Davis Mettle and Julia Benson as Lizzie Allison Rankart.

"Aurora Teagarden Mysteries: Haunted by Murder" began shooting on November 22, 2021 and wrapped December 11, 2021. Candace shared the picture below on social media with all of her followers with the captioning: "Just wrapped another Aurora Teagarden Mystery. #18 !!!! I can’t believe we started these movies 7 years ago 🤯. I love bringing you family friendly entertainment and can’t wait for you to see this new one! Coming in February on @hallmarkmovie . The first movie I want to share is “Don't Sweat the Small Stuff: The Kristine Carlson Story,” which stars actress Heаther Lockleаr as Kristine Carlson. You'll also see another familiar face... Candace Cameron Bure's daughter, Natasha Bure, ("Home Sweet Home," "Switched at Christmas") has a role in the movie as Kristine Carlson's daughter, Jazzy.

The other movie premiering this Fall on Lifetime I want to share is "Highway to Heaven," starring Jill Scott and Barry Watson. This a remake of the original TV series with Michael Landon. You may recall, I shared this movie with you all back in mid-June when Lifetime first announced this series. A trailer for the movie was recently released, so I thought I would share it with you all below.

"Highway to Heaven" story via Lifetime: An updated take on Michael Landon’s iconic 80s television series Highway to Heaven, Lifetime’s new original movie reboot follows Angela Stewart (Jill Scott), an angel who is sent back to earth to help others in need. In the first movie, premiering November 6, 2021, Angela the angel takes on the role of a temporary school counselor. Working alongside junior high school principal Bruce Banks (Barry Watson), she intervenes in the life of a troubled student Cody Grier (Ben Daon) who is struggling with the tragic loss of his mother.

One of the commenters on YouTube, Judy B, mentioned that this actually looks and sounds more like "Touched by an Angel" than "Highway to Heaven" and I would have to agree. It definitely seems to have that certain heartwarming, emotional feel to it. Judy B. concluded her comment by saying, "Either way its nice to have faith based shows to watch." That is so true.

MARK the 25th - with the MOVIEGUIDE Awards & a CHRISTMAS Movie pick!

Here at "It's a Wonderful Movie" we highlight every 25th day of the month - as we countdown to Christmas! We started doing this last year, long before Hallmark started playing Christmas movies two nights of the week!

For the huge Christmas movie fans who wish to join along, simply pick something Christmassy to watch today on the 25th! It can be a Christmas movie, cartoon, family sitcom or anything you like. (There's only one stipulation - it must be family friendly.) Please share in comments below your Christmas choice for the day!

My pick for this "Mark the 25th" is "Switched for Christmas" starring Candace Cameron Bure and her daughter, Natasha, in honor of the two of them hosting the Movieguide awards tonight on the Hallmark Channel! (Also, Candace's newest Christmas movie, "A Shoe Addict's Christmas" is nominated for a Movieguide award and it is playing this Friday night, March 1st, on the Hallmark Channel!)

"Switched for Christmas" is such a fun, mixed up, crazy, messy, sweet holiday movie - where two twin sisters (both played by Candace Cameron Bure!) switch places over the Christmas season! If you love the classic Disney movie "The Parent Trap" starring Hayley Mills or various versions adapted from it, you, most likely, will love this adaptation, too!

"Switched for Christmas" storyline via Hallmark: Identical twins Kate and Chris Lockhart plot to be the other sister -- at Kate’s office and Chris’ school – and take on planning their sister’s Christmas events. One rule, though: no romance. Chris as Kate is making her mark in the office, but co-worker Greg Turner grows curious about her sudden style. Kate as Chris, warming to her sudden family life, is introduced to a wealthy donor to help out the festival. Her jaw drops when she realizes that Tom Kinder is a teenage crush she met at that very festival 20 years ago. Can the sisters pull off their big events? And what about no romance? As I mentioned above, Candace's movie, "A Shoe Addict's Christmas" is one of the Movieguide Awards nominees, and Candace and her co-star, Jean Smart, are nominated for their performances in the film.

(Please note: This award show presentation on Hallmark is only one hour, so we may not see them all.)

I just love seeing all of these nominees from Hallmark included; my hope is... we will continue to see more next year! I have often said, I would like to see "Signed, Sealed, Delivered" nominated in the most inspiring TV program category, and hopefully, with more movies to come from "SSD," that wish can still come true!

It is truly rare to have any repeat airings of "When Calls the Heart;" therefore, to have this movie air again on Hallmark Drama the following week - is, indeed, a complete, but very  pleasant surprise!

The movie "Christmas at Graceland" was THE Highest Rated Movie of the Year on the Hallmark Channel in 2018, and it will return this year for a sequel movie in June - "Wedding at Graceland" and another new, currently untitled movie is coming this holiday season, too! This news is according to the Memphis News - commercialappeal.com. According to the article, "Wedding at Graceland will reunite stars Kellie Pickler and Wes Brown as Laurel and Clay, the former Memphis sweethearts who rekindled their romance during "Christmas at Graceland."
