#POstables - Are you ready to come Home Again?

Dear *It's a Wonderful Movie* friends,

I know many of you, like myself, are very cautious of the programming you watch in your home, so... if you'd like to give ratings to a movie that is filled with hope, inspiration, and faith, then you'll want to watch the Thursday night special airing of "Signed, Sealed, Delivered: Home Again" on Hallmark Movies & Mysteries. (See my favorite part of the movie below!)

Thursday, August 13, 2020:

Join the POstables as they take a trip out to the country in...

Storyline via Hallmark: When The Postables discover an antique vase with a letter inside, they trace the package to three little girls who attempted to sell the vase 18 years ago in order to save their family farm. While the vase was an heirloom from many generations ago, the origin is suspicious. With the farm again facing financial hardship, The Postables must choose between doing what’s legal and what’s moral.

Also, on Thursday night... if you need a little Christmas in August, stay tuned after Signed, Sealed, Delivered: Home Again, for a fun Christmas movie for Hallmark's "Miracles of Christmas" Thursday feature starring Lacey Chabert...

Storyline via Hallmark: When an ambitious anchorwoman makes on offhand wish to an office party Santa, she wakes up the next morning to find she is married to her college sweetheart, an event that has changed her world.

I hope all of you POstables enjoy watching this encore airing of "SIGNED, SEALED, DELIVERED: HOME AGAIN." One of my favorite parts is when Oliver and Shane go for a little stroll in the pasture. This looks very romantic on screen, but take it from this country girl, you definitely want to carefully watch where you are going - if you are anywhere near where animals are grazing.

As for the story-line itself, you are immediately swept away in the story of the mysterious vase, it's history and potential worth. The family farm is in desperate financial need. Could the sudden discovery of the missing vase be the long awaited miracle they are seeking?

If any of you are new to the "Signed, Sealed, Delivered" series, I highly recommend every one, but you'll probably want to start at the very beginning. I have a chronological list of all of the movies and episodes - *HERE*!

We Need a Little Christmas Now!

On Moonlight Bay
image via: Warner Bros.
I wanted to share with you all... recently another web-site, titled "Christmas TV History" invited guests to submit answers to various questions about Christmas.

This annual event is called "Christmas TV Party" and each day in July - participants share their Christmas TV and Movie favorites. I joined in by submitting my own list... so, of course, I wanted to share the link here, with all of you!

Here's a direct link to my list of Christmas favorites:
http://www.christmastvhistory.com/2015/07/christmas-tv-party-2015-net.html

(One of my responses - just might have something to do with this lovely image of Doris Day, pictured on the right!)

If you would like to check out others answers, too, while you are there... (which I highly recommend!) ...an easy way to do it, is to click here, then scroll down through all the responses, one by one!  If you are a Christmas Movie fan, I think you will enjoy it!

More Christmas News:

The latest POLL on my site has closed. The Question was...

What is your Favorite Christmas Movie starring Lacey Chabert?

THE RESULTS:
Matchmaker Santa - 122 (53%)

The Tree that Saved Christmas - 20 (8%)

A Royal Christmas - 59 (25%)

Family For Christmas - 28 (12%)

It looks like Matchmaker Santa is the overwhelming favorite, among Christmas Movie viewers! (By the way, it's my favorite Lacey movie, too!) I love the story of baking cookies, finding true love, the very funny Dean, the bear, the Snow, Santa Kris, being stuck together in Buford Falls, and best of all, it has a truly fantastic ensemble cast! Matchmaker Santa is so sweet, one can't help but love it!

Thank you all for participating in this poll... let's continue to Count Down to Christmas together!!!

And be sure to click here to see my list of Christmas favorites at the "Christmas TV Party"!

What is Your Favorite 'Lacey Chabert' Christmas Movie?

On the heels of Lacey Chabert's latest Christmas Movie premiere, "Family For Christmas"... I thought it would be fun for us all to vote for our all-time favorite Lacey Chabert Christmas Movie! (see the poll - on the right!)

Over the last few years, she has made several Christmas Films... "Matchmaker Santa", "A Royal Christmas", and "Family For Christmas"... all for the Hallmark Channel, and "The Tree that Saved Christmas" was an UP Original Christmas Movie.

Please note: I didn't count in this voting an ION Christmas movie, which she co-starred in, titled "A Holiday Heist". Nor did I count in this, "The Color of Rain", which is a very touching movie, just not necessarily a Christmas movie, although it does have a few Christmas scenes, at the end.

Please know, for this poll you can only choose one answer! Happy Voting and it will be fun to see which Lacey movie is our Favorite - so far!
