Press Release via Hallmark Media:

ARIELLE KEBBEL AND ZACH ROERIG
DIG UP MORE THAN JUST THE PAST IN
‘LOVE IN THE GREAT SMOKY MOUTAINS:
A NATIONAL PARK ROMANCE’
A NEW, ORIGINAL MOVIE
PREMIERING SEPTEMBER 2,
ON HALLMARK CHANNEL

Part of the Network’s Annual Fall into Love Programming Event

STUDIO CITY, CA – July 20, 2023 – Arielle Kebbel (“A Brush with Love,” “9-1-1”) and Zach Roerig (“Vampire Diaries,” “Step Up: High Water”) star in “Love in the Great Smoky Mountains: A National Park Romance,” a new, original movie premiering Saturday, September 2 (8 p.m. ET/PT), on Hallmark Channel, as part of the network’s annual Fall into Love programming event.

Former high school sweethearts, Haley (Kebbel) and Rob (Roerig), bump into each other while at an excavation site for an archeological research team, currently in the field at Great Smoky Mountains National Park. Rob immediately tries to reconnect with Haley and rekindle their romance, but Haley isn’t quite over Rob’s betrayal. During their senior year, Haley had applied for a research grant that was awarded to Rob instead of her. The two have not spoken since, but now Haley is determined to remain professional as she and Rob work together at this exciting excavation site. The two eventually reconnect over their common love of nature and history, spending time together exploring the park. But when Haley finds pictographs in a cave that may lead to the existence of a mythical Cherokee diamond, Rob struggles to keep up with her adventurous nature. And to complicate their relationship even more, they discover they are once again competing for the same research grant. They work together and finally find the cave, and slowly realize that the journey is perhaps more important than the destination – and love is more valuable than any research grant.

“Love in the Great Smoky Mountains: A National Park Romance” is from Johnson Production Group. Timothy O. Johnson and Joseph Wilka are executive producers. Robert Ballo and Robin Conly are producers. Kebbel serves as co-producer. Danny J. Boyle directed from a script by Bruce D. Johnson.

image: Lifetime

Not only is this exciting news that some of Lifetime's Christmas Movies are coming to DVD, but they are also being released in Double Features, which means you get TWO - for the price of ONE!

"Snowed-Inn Christmas" with Andrew Walker and Bethany Joy Lenz is being released with "Wrapped Up in Christmas" with Tatyana Ali and Brendan Fehr. Both movies premiered on the Lifetime network during the 2017 Christmas season!

In addition to that DVD, "A Very Merry Toy Store" with Melissa Joan Hart and Mario Lopez is also being released with "Four Christmases and a Wedding" starring Arielle Kebbel and Corey Sevier. (more below!) All of these movies are delightful holiday tales- that would make a great addition to any Christmas Movie DVD Collection!

Did you know Andrew Walker and Bethany Joy Lenz even made a fun music video to promote Snowed-Inn Christmas?

WATCH HERE:

Want to know a little more about these movies? Read their storylines here...

image: Lifetime

"Wrapped Up in Christmas" storyline via Lifetime: Christmas is one of Heather’s (Tatyana Ali, "Fresh Prince of Bel Air") favorite times of year but this year, as the manager of the upscale Town Center Mall, she has to be the Christmas Grinch and cancel the leases of under-performing stores. One afternoon, Heather’s niece, Molly asks the mall Santa to help find a boyfriend for her beloved aunt. Unbeknownst to Molly and Heather, “Santa” is actually Ryan (Brendan Fehr, "Guardians of the Galaxy"), who is working at the mall for the holidays and helping his Aunt Patty run her failing toy store. As Heather and Ryan begin to fall for each other, they have no idea of one another's true identity: Heather who is tasked with closing his aunt's store and Ryan who is too ashamed to tell Heather that he is the actually the mall Santa. Will Molly's Christmas wish come true, or will Heather be stuck as the Town Center Grinch?

image: Lifetime

"Snowed-Inn Christmas" storyline via Lifetime: Jenna Hudson (Bethany Joy Lenz, Colony) and Kevin Jenner (Andrew Walker, A Bride for Christmas) are polar opposites, working for the same online publication in New York City. With both having nowhere they want to be for Christmas, they volunteer for a special writing assignment. After a snowstorm forces their plane to land in none other than Santa Claus, Indiana, the two are placed in a Christmas Wonderland and the focus of their story shifts to saving the historic town inn run by Carol and Christopher Winters. As the two overcome their differences, they also rediscover the magic of Christmas. But with the inn's fate in jeopardy and the return of someone from Jenna's past, Carol and Christopher lend a helping hand to bring Jenna and Kevin together. The film also stars Tasha Smith. Snowed-Inn Christmas is produced by Juliette Hagopian and is executive produced by Howard Braunstein. Gary Yates serves as a director; Carly Smale serves as the writer.

image: Lifetime

"A Very Merry Toy Store" storyline via Lifetime: Connie Forrester (Melissa Joan Hart, Sabrina, the Teenage Witch), a young single mom, and Will DiNova (Mario Lopez, Holiday in Handcuffs) each run their small, family-owned toy stores in Connecticut. Similar to their families, Connie and Will have been business rivals for year, until both of their livelihoods fall into jeopardy when the big box toy store "Roy's Toys" has its grand opening right before Christmas. In order to save their businesses, Connie and Will band together to save the stores that have defined their families for generations, and in the process, might just find love in time for Christmas. The film also stars Beth Broderick, Brian Dennehy, Billy Gardell, Mario Cantone, Dan Amboyer and Tara Strong. A Very Merry Toy Store is produced by Hartbreak Films. Paula Hart and Melissa Joan Hart executive produce. Paula serves as a director; David Breckman serves as a writer.

"Four Christmases and a Wedding" storyline via Lifetime: When event planner Chloe (Arielle Kebbel, Midnight Texas, UnREAL) is hired to plan the local Christmas Festival, she is beyond thrilled to embrace the challenge. Professionally, everything is going great, but much to the dismay of her mother (Markie Post, Christmas on the Bayou), Chloe confesses she has given up on ever finding Mr. Right. That all changes the night of the opening of the festival when she meets Evan. The two begin a whirlwind romance, but as Christmas Day nears, Chloe learns that Evan is being transferred overseas for work. What follows is three more Christmases where Chloe and Evan cross paths at the annual festival, but each year something -- or someone -- stands in the way of true love. Will a touch of Santa's magic on their fourth Christmas Eve finally bring them together?

Don't these all sound great? Each film is guaranteed, without a doubt, to get you into the holiday spirit!
