There's certainly plenty to see on TV this weekend. Our weather here in the Midwest has been even more frigid, in the single digits and teens, so there aren't too many activities for us outdoors. Instead, I'll be staying in, keeping warm and catching up on a little of my movie watching.

In addition to the new movies, you might also want to check out the "Aurora Teagarden Mystery" marathon on Saturday and the "Signed, Sealed, Delivered" movie marathon on Sunday - both on Hallmark Movies & Mysteries. I just love the "Aurora" mysteries and I highly recommend the "Signed, Sealed, Delivered" series, with their uplifting, faith-filled, inspiring stories! Each one, in my opinion, is a masterpiece!

Also, if you are missing the Christmas movies, be sure to check out the Christmas TV Schedule; I'm going to continue to report the family-friendly Christmas movies airing throughout the year there. I may also do some reminder posts, from time to time.

As for the new premieres, I can't wait to see "The Winter Palace" on GAC Family! All of the promos have drawn me in... I can't wait to see Danica and Neal together again! Plus, I'm curious about "The Wedding Veil," too! I sure hope it's good! And the new UPtv movie, Love's Second Chance, looks great, as well... gotta make some more room on the DVR!

Please Note: I have not pre-screened the new movies. If you happen to watch one or more and would like to share a review, please do so in comments below.

Blessings on your weekend! Net

Movie Reviews:

💗 "I've already seen Love On The Road and can confirm it is definitely family-friendly. Remember that a review is only a personal point of view. The plot is similar to that which we have seen many times before and certain aspects were not really to my personal taste - I found this pretty slow-moving. I'm not a big fan of Erin Cahill and while I generally enjoy Jeese Hutch (who has been pretty active recently) He didn't seem to have his usual spark. While it's just not my cup of tea I do think that others here might probably enjoy this." Florence's rating 4.5

💗 "Florence is so right. I feel the opposite about Love On The Road. Loved this movie and thought Jesse and Erin had great chemistry. Sweet and simple, and I like that. Erin Cahill and Jesse Hutch are two of my favorite actors. Suppose that could have something to do with my feelings also. On a different subject, I watched an old movie on UP with Trevor Donovan that I found to be a keeper. I think it is Runaway Romance. If I can find it on Amazon, I will buy this DVD. Can't believe I had missed this movie first time around." ~kitkat

💗 "Love on the Road is a fantastic movie! Not only is it family friendly but it has a fresh turn at boy meets girl! It was delivered and was believable due to the undeniable chemistry between Erin and Jesse. It held my attention and I "couldn't put it down". Great work to all the actors and Uptv team." ~Anonymous

💗 "Love on the Road is the best new UP TV movie I've seen this month!" -Maria

Movie Reviews:

💗 "Love and Where to Find It is family friendly but a very unorganized story line to me. Slow pace and the ending just felt unfinished." ~Joyce in Carolina

💗 "Love & Where to Find Them is family friendly. Both Ava & Walker have dating app. Ava & Lena work at Kismet Bakery, Ava asks her friend; Lena for texting Walker. Walker asks his friend; Jonah for texting Ava. Both Jonah & Lena are texting each other for their friends; Lena & Jonah. Ava & Walker are into meat. I know it's hard to transition from the Christmas movies, but are you looking forward to watching these new movies on UPtv in the new year? I personally think the storyline in "Love's Second Chance" sounds heartwarming, with the vintage dress shop and helping people in need that can’t afford new clothes. Plus, the others look possibly good, too!

Please Note: I have not pre-screened these movies. If you would like to post a review on whether these movies are family-friendly, please share in comments. These movies may have previously aired in Canada on the W Network or Super Channel Heart & Home.

Blessings on your day! Net
