The hit family drama "Heartland" returns to UPtv with ALL NEW SEASON 12 Episodes beginning Wednesday, October 2, 2019 at 9 PM ET starring Amber Marshall, Michelle Morgan, Graham Wardle, Shaun Johnston, Chris Potter, Kevin McGarry, Alisha Newton, Kerry James, Jessica Steen, Lisa Durupt and Gabe Hogan!

I have personally been watching this one hour drama series since it first began airing on UP many years ago. It's a family series with some intense drama, true to life family moments, and the profound love and care for horses. The main story and heart of the series always takes place on the families' horse ranch.

UPtv provides this description of "Heartland": "A family drama series set in the rolling foothills of the Rockies, “Heartland” follows life on the Heartland ranch as Amy Fleming (Amber Marshall), her older sister Lou (Michelle Morgan) and Grandfather Jack (Shaun Johnston) deal with the challenges of running the ranch that has been in their family for generations. There is something so real and special about this show as you watch this family grow through the years together on this horse ranch. At times, family members may come and go, but in the end, they always pull together when they are needed.

I hope many of you will look forward, as I am, to Season 12 of Heartland on UPtv. By the way, for any Canadian followers here, I am delighted to see your Season 13 of Heartland began on September 22nd on CBC, which means... we have even more episodes to come!

For the very last weekend of April - I haven't said this for a long time...

No New Movies on TV this weekend.

There will NOT be any New Original TV Movies this weekend on the Hallmark Channel, Hallmark Movies & Mysteries, UP, etc...

We have been so blessed for many, many weekends to have a new movie on either Saturday or Sunday night... through Winterfest, Countdown to Valentine's Day, Spring Fling, etc... plus several Mystery Movies, too!!!

What's next? Well, Hallmark Movies & Mysteries will have a Marathon of "Garage Sale Mystery" Movies on Saturday, the Hallmark Channel will have various original movies throughout the day on Sunday, including: "Perfect Match," The Perfect Catch," "Love Blossoms," etc... and the Hallmark Channel does have a new Sunday night series, since "When Calls the Heart" finished last weekend, but that is not something I have chosen to promote.

UP will also have a new episode of their weekly Television series "Heartland," Sunday night, at 8pm/7c., following a repeat showing of Season 10 Episode 2.

ATLANTA – August 10, 2016 – UP TV, the entertainment destination that showcases stories about modern American families and the relationships that define them, announced today that the network will premiere season nine of the multi-generational family drama Heartland for a limited time beginning Wednesday, Sept. 7. UP will air the 18 U.S. premiere episodes with three episodes every Wednesday at 8 p.m., 9 p.m. and 10 p.m. ET during the limited engagement before it starts airing weekly this fall on UP. Beginning in February 2017, UP’s subscription-on-demand offering, UP Faith & Family, will be the first service to make available all nine seasons of the series. It's the day Heartland fans have been longing for, since that first day Ty and Amy met, years ago, when she was a distraught young girl, over losing her mother, and he was a troubled teen. No matter all the twist and turns, bumpy places in the road, and troubles in between, they were destined to be together. And, now as Season 8 comes to an end, viewers will be taken on a new adventure as the venue for the wedding falls through and Ty and Amy contemplate eloping. What will Lou, Amy's sister have to say about that, and is there any way Grandpa (Jack) can save the day?
