Are you ready for more Crossroad Springs? Season 2 rides onto Great American Family (and GFAM+) beginning Saturday, September 5th, Labor Day weekend, while Great American Pure Flix subscribers can watch a little earlier with the premiere there on Thursday, September 3rd.
This season features 10 all-new episodes. If you're streaming on Great American Pure Flix, you'll get a new episode each week all season long.
This season, however, will be split on Great American Family. The first five episodes will air on GAF beginning this September, with the season returning after Christmas with the final five episodes in January 2027.

In the Season Two premiere, “Boots on the Ground,” summer brings new growth to Red Oak Ranch and new challenges for the Hamilton family. As James settles deeper into his calling at the Cowboy Church, he begins offering office hours for a congregation increasingly looking to him for guidance beyond Sunday service. Maggie takes meaningful steps toward launching “The Round Up,” a community food pantry designed to serve neighbors with dignity, while Janet is shaken by Eric’s unexpected return to Crossroad Springs and his confession that he came back for her. At the ranch, Willis grows suspicious when the family’s herd expansion paperwork stalls without explanation, leading him, James, and Aunt Amy straight to Daniel Newman’s doorstep. Jillian will be returning for Crossroad Springs Season 2; however, she shared that she was diagnosed with breast cancer back in May. I know she is leaning on the Lord and trusting Him to carry her through this difficult season, and I know your love and prayers would mean so much to her right now. Jillian has been staying positive, upbeat, and faithfully trusting in God's plan. Please keep her and her loved ones close in your prayers as she walks through this journey. Wonderful news from UPtv! Movies are returning to the network in late March and April, including a new movie premiere starring Trevor Donovan.
There will also be religious movies airing throughout Easter week, such as: The Ten Commandments (2006), Love Comes Softly films, The Greatest Story Ever Told, Mary, the Mother of Jesus, and more.
Heartland Season 19 will begin on UPtv on Thursday, March 19th, and continue airing on Thursdays throughout the end of March and April. The new season features many familiar faces, including Amber Marshall, Shaun Johnston, Chris Potter, Michelle Morgan, Gabriel Hogan, Alisha Newton, Spencer Lord, Kerry James, and the return of Cindy Busby.

Warning: You all know how much I love Trevor Donovan, but I have to warn you about this movie (Where the Wind Blows). I saw it a couple months ago and I was shocked how much needed to be skipped. It was very sexual. I won’t mention the scene for the sake of sparring you, but I would advise you to pass on this one. This is not a Christian film despite what they say. I was saddened and disgusted. Sorry, that was difficult for me to write, especially about Trevor, but I felt the need to tell you the truth. UP Faith & Family Subscribers Invited to a Special Watch Party in Advance of the Premiere
ATLANTA (October 7, 2025) – UP Faith & Family, the leading streaming service for uplifting movies and series, all commercial free, will be the first place in the U.S. to premiere Heartland season 19. Beginning Thursday, Nov. 6, the service will add new episodes weekly with a four-week break after episode five, returning on Jan. 8.
“Heartland fans in the U.S. have long asked for a shorter wait after the Canadian debut, and we’ve been working diligently behind the scenes to make that a reality. We’re excited to bring new episodes to our subscribers just a few weeks after they first air in Canada,” said Philip Manwaring, head of streaming, UP Entertainment.
Heartland is the longest running one-hour drama in Canadian television history. In season 19, the Bartlett-Fleming family must risk everything to keep Heartland and those they love out of harm’s way. Amy strikes a delicate balance between her commitment to a new relationship and always putting her daughter first. However, when her reputation as a horse trainer is called into question, she’s caught off guard, and Amy must fight to save her good name. Lou tries to refocus attention on her family – and not on work, but when a new adversary threatens the ranch, Lou is forced to make some difficult choices. Jack is the steadfast rancher he’s always been, but his patience is tested after he hires an unlikely new ranch hand. And when outside forces jeopardize Heartland, Amy, Jack, Lou and the rest of the family must come together to build a stronger foundation for the future. Each holding fast to their values in the face of it all. Heartland strong.

🎄 Nicely's The Christmas Checklist (streaming on Freevee) is so heartwarming and inspiring, which is why it pains me to say it's not a clean movie. There's 1 swear word that I know of, and near the end of the movie, there's a gay brother. Sorry to anyone who might have wanted to see it. -Maria

🎄 Christmas in Big Sky Country. I rather enjoyed this predictable little movie. It was comfortable and satisfying, even though sometimes hokey. There wasn’t a huge amount of romantic chemistry but I thought all the actors did a decent job (in fact I kind of think it might be the best movie the two leads have each done?). It was the same old, same old plotline, and it’s not going to win any awards and I’m not even sure it was all that Christmassy, but there was just enough drama and uniqueness and family sweetness to make it stand out a little bit and be worth watching in a sea of Christmas-movie sameness. Loved the yarn shop; and the family patriarch, who is a sheep farmer, and has lots of silly Dad puns. Family friendly. {I watched this as part of a 3-movie dvd collection that I bought through Net’s affiliation with Amazon. All three movies are good so it was worth the purchase. “Christmas in Maple Hills”, “Christmas with the Knightleys” and this one.} ~~Jane

Personally, I can’t wait to see many of these, including Saving the Christmas Ranch and A Christmas in Amish Country. The first stars Jonathan Stoddard (who many of you know and love from the "Crossroad Springs" series), and the latter features Ella Cannon and Jason Tobias, who were charming together in the UPtv movie, A Wedding for Belle.
Some of you may spot a few familiar titles that have already found their way to DVD or streaming, like Christmas in Big Sky Country and Christmas with the Knightlys. I’ve shared Jane’s delightful reviews of these films above, and after reading her thoughts on these movies again, I’m even more excited to watch them myself! If you’ve seen these movies too, I’d love to hear what you thought... feel free to share in the comments below.

I'm planning to do a little extra yard work while the weather is still nice and warm, and share some time with my family out in the sunshine, and later in the cool evenings we'll likely gather around the fire pit.
If your weekend’s looking busy, don’t forget to set your DVR for the brand-new series premiere on Great American Family, “Crossroad Springs”! The first episode airs Saturday night. (I streamed it early on PureFlix - see my review below!). This heartfelt show invites us right into the heart of ranch life... full of warmth, family drama, and all the ups and downs that come with it.
And if you’re in the mood for something romantic, Great American Family also premieres a lighthearted movie titled 'The Wedding Arrangement'! (See my review for this below, too!)
The Hallmark Channel wraps up their *Summer Nights* with 'Catch of the Day,' a seaside romance that may be the perfect last splash of the season!

“Crossroad Springs” is such a heartwarming look at life on a family ranch. You really feel the love, hard work, and sense of community. It was comforting to watch the characters face challenges and lean on each other. Episode one does a wonderful job of introducing us to the Hamilton family, those in their community, and their neighbor/rival, Daniel Newman. (By the way, Jesse Hutch plays the character very well!) I loved all of the little touches of faith, and I’m looking forward to the next episode! -Net
Storyline: When botanist Violet needs help with a wedding floral arrangement, nature photographer Jack comes to save the day as they bond over a mythical plant.
