Always chasing a new business idea, Dan hasn't had time for family, including his wife Linda (Dudek), who is finally fed up and filing divorce papers. Threatened by Linda's handsome and successful young boss, Trevor (Steve Valentine, "Crossing Jordan"), Dan knows he must make this Christmas the best one yet to win his family back. But after auditioning for a mall Santa job and quickly losing his cool, Dan is frustrated and broke, blaming the holidays for his troubles. Little does he know his luck is about to turn around when the real Kris Kringle (Donovan Scott, "Matchmaker Santa") pays him a visit from the North Pole. Deciding to take a vacation and leave Dan in charge, Kris sends his hard-working elf assistant Eddie (Astin) to guide Dan as the new Santa Claus, hoping he'll learn a lesson in Christmas spirit. With the sudden power to impress Linda and the kids by making every wild Christmas wish come true, Dan soon gets carried away. As the fate of the whole world's Christmas rests in his hands, can Dan focus on what his family really needs without flubbing his greatest gig yet?

I hope you enjoy watching all THREE of these Hallmark Christmas Movies this week!

I personally love that they are playing Murder She Baked: Plum Pudding tonight - when they've just recently announced Alison Sweeney (Chronicle Mysteries) will star alongside Lucas Bryant (Tulips in Spring) in the Hallmark Movies & Mysteries Christmas Movie, Time for You to Come Home for Christmas! See details *HERE*!

Also, Romance at Reindeer Lodge is one of those great comedic Christmas movies, which is sometimes rare on Hallmark Movies & Mysteries! Definitely one I always enjoy... as it's easy to laugh with and it's sentimental, too! Happy watching!

With Christmas movies airing twice a week - every week - on the Hallmark Channel and Hallmark Movies & Mysteries, it's truly a wonderful feeling - and something I know many of us look forward each week to seeing! And, this week... it's a nice time to re-watch (or see for the first time!) two movies that premiered in 2018!

"Christmas at Pemberley Manor" was the FIRST All NEW Original Christmas Movie to premiere for the 2018 Christmas season in October on the Hallmark Channel AND "Christmas Bells are Ringing" was actually the very LAST All NEW Original Christmas Movie to premiere in December for the 2018 Christmas season on Hallmark Movies & Movies!

Therefore, since "Christmas at Pemberley Manor" was the first, there was a lot more opportunities for viewers to catch an encore airing of this movie during the Christmas season! I found both films to be family friendly and very enjoyable in their own ways.

In "Christmas at Pemberley Manor," it was very nice to see a sweet, simple holiday story, and I loved hearing Jessica Lowndes ("Yes, I Do") sing. Plus, it was cute how they used the Jane Austen Pride & Prejudice theme. In "Christmas Bells are Ringing," I liked the dramatic, intensity of the story and watching Emilie Ullerup ("Chesapeake Shores") find her true passion - and possibly love too!

Wishing You All the Joy of Christmas!
Happy (almost) Easter, too!
(By the way, my Easter post is coming - so stay tuned!)

SEE the FIRST NEW CHRISTMAS TV MOVIE of the SEASON... HALLMARK CHANNEL'S "CHRISTMAS AT PEMBERLEY MANOR!"

It's the first full weekend of Christmas movies on TV, and of course, Hallmark gifts it's viewers with an all new Christmas movie, "Christmas at Pemberley Manor!"

And, just in case you're wondering, this movie is, indeed, based on the Jane Austen characters from her novel Pride & Prejudice. In fact, in this modern retelling of the story, actress Jessica Lowndes ("The Magical Christmas Ornaments") portrays an enthusiastic version of Elizabeth Bennett, while Michael Rady ("A Joyous Christmas") portrays the charming, wealthy, reserved William Darcy, whose home is well known to Austen readers as the magnificent Pemberley Manor.
