Storyline via Hallmark: ER doc Jessica loves her job, but not the hours. Now on vacation in Fiji, she and her daughter are getting much needed mother/daughter time and Jessica is looking to recapture the inner peace she once had with her late husband. Meeting Trevor, a dashing surgeon, when they arrive, Jessica also strikes up a friendship with Will, the charming co-owner of their resort. As Jessica notices how Trevor is a workaholic, she also sees that Will offers her tranquility, and she starts to wonder if this island paradise can give her the happiness – and love – she once knew.

STUDIO CITY, CA – April 18, 2018 – Production has begun on Hallmark Channel’s “A Summer to Remember” (wt), a new, original movie starring Catherine Bell (“Good Witch,” “Army Wives”) and Cameron Mathison (“At Home in Mitford,” “Murder, She Baked: Just Desserts”). Shooting on location in Fiji, the movie is set to premiere during the network’s upcoming, annual “Summer Nights” programming event that celebrates the fun of the season.

“Catherine Bell and Cameron Mathison are fan favorites and we’re thrilled to pair them together for the first time,” said Michelle Vicary, Executive Vice President, Programming & Network Publicity, Crown Media Family Networks. “We know they will light up the screen with their performances and the stunning Fiji landscape will be the perfect backdrop for this summertime escape for our viewers.”

Jessica Tucker (Bell), a widow and successful doctor, is trying to juggle work and family when she learns she’s up for the top job at the hospital. It’s a great career move but means even more time away from her daughter Ava (Samantha MacGillivray) and would derail her plans to open a private practice that offers more work-life balance. Jessica books a stay at a resort in Fiji with cute bungalows and horseback riding on the beach so she and Ava can disconnect and have some mother-daughter bonding time. Complicating matters is fellow resort guest Trevor (Paul O’Brien, “Neighbours”), a dashing surgeon who takes an immediate interest in Jessica. During her stay she also strikes up a friendship with Will (Mathison), the charming owner of the resort. As Jessica and Will spend more time together, she begins to relax and starts to wonder if this island paradise can give her the life – and love – she’s always hoped for.

“A Summer to Remember” (wt) is a Cartel production. Stan Spry and Eric Woods are executive producers, Anthony Fankhuaser is co-executive producer and Lincoln Lageson serves as producer. Martin Wood directs from a script by Sheryl Anderson and Erinne Dobson.

Lydia shows Robert that this task goes way deeper than messy junk drawers and encompasses every aspect of his life. While she’s intent on helping him straighten out details he had long ignored, Robert teaches the buttoned-up Lydia that messiness can be a delightful part of life.

Tonight's Hallmark Christmas movies - "Angels and Ornaments" and "Love Always, Santa"... I recall being ones that fans immediately fell in love with! First, "Angels and Ornaments" - because of the beautiful music! Once viewers heard the breathtaking song "Twas the Night," they longed to know more! It is still a treasured movie that first premiered on the Hallmark Channel, but has rightfully found it's home on Hallmark Movies & Mysteries, due to the stories' elaborate intricacies! It will most likely leave you singing or humming the chorus "Twas the night, twas the night... I played your song wish you’d come home for Christmas where you belong. Twas the night (twas the night) Twas the night (twas the night) The world dressed in white please come home for Christmas my darling tonight."

This movie actually couldn't have come at a better time... since this is "Twas the Night" before Christmas Keepsake begins on the Hallmark Channel!

"Love Always, Santa"

"Love Always, Santa" was the first new movie on Hallmark Movies & Mysteries in 2016, and viewers just ate it up! I did, too! Everything about it is interesting... a precious little girl, Lilly Banks, who has an imagination the size of Texas, her Mother Celia, who is half grieving over the loss of her husband 3 years before and half hoping for the chance at new romance, Jake Granger, a young writer who finds love through the written word... and a realistic small town that doesn't quite believe in such fantasies. "Love Always, Santa" is a romantic Christmas adventure you won't want to miss! The end will surely leave you *wishing* for more!

The Hallmark Movie "Home for Christmas Day" is Coming in July on Hallmark Movies & Mysteries!

Back in March, Hallmark announced via a press release that Catherine Bell and Victor Webster would co-star in an upcoming Gold Crown Christmas week movie on Hallmark Movies & Mysteries! At that time, some of us were skeptical since the title of the movie then, "Love Finds It's Way," didn't sound overly Christmassy! Well, problem solved... Hallmark has re-named the movie "Home for Christmas Day." (details via HMM's web-site) Personally, I love this new title, as it invokes all the warm, happy, fuzzy feelings the Christmas season envelopes us with, including precious memories, and for some of us, the joy of going or simply being home on Christmas day!

Catherine Bell (“Good Witch”) executive produces and stars in “Love Finds Its Way,” which also co-stars Victor Webster (“Girlfriends Guide to Divorce”). “Love Finds Its Way” is part of Hallmark Movie & Mysteries’ GOLD CROWN CHRISTMAS, a top-rated, annual July programming event on the network.

How EXCITING to see HALLMARK MOVIES & MYSTERIES is creating something NEW this Year for their GOLD CROWN CHRISTMAS WEEK - in JULY!!! Isn't this wonderful news!?!?! Plus, both CATHERINE BELL AND VICTOR WEBSTER are regular members of the Hallmark movie family. It is interesting to me, though-- (and maybe, you too!) that neither the title or the story sound very Christmassy. Hmmmm??? That is something to ponder as we look forward to this new movie!!!
