Oh, my goodness... there are so many things to do! ...And, now there are so many Christmas Specials on TV, too!

This is such a beautiful time of year- I wish we could just hold on to these last minute days before Christmas just a bit longer! And, we are not dreaming (in the mid-west) ... we will have a lovely White Christmas!

There are Many Movies and Specials on TV to enjoy throughout your day... as you are busy baking, wrapping, sharing time with family, etc....

I am So Thankful - He is the Reason for the Season!

It's the Monday before Thanksgiving! Is your Turkey thawing, yet?

I love to smell all the food baking. It's always such a precious time! What memories I have of childhood - watching my Mother make a batch of her famous well-loved yeast rolls the night before - and how we would be so excited the next morning to see how it would all rise in the big bowls. As we watched the Macy's Parade on Thanksgiving Morning, we would help Momma roll up those yeast rolls in warm melted butter. Our hands were all floury & sticky, but my, it was fun! I look forward to us all cooking together, again, this year!

Whether we are celebrating Thanksgiving this week or Christmas in a few more... Make wonderful Memories and Count your Blessings... one by one - and always remember Jesus is the Reason for all Seasons!

We put up our Christmas tree this weekend while watching The Night before The Night before Christmas on the Hallmark Channel. It was simple, sweet and fun... a nice little family fantasy Christmas Movie that everyone can watch together! Very similar, at times, to the movie, Santa Who?. I'll have to write a complete review soon! Anyway, we enjoyed it... so I hope you and your family will, too!





It is amazing how many new Christmas Movies there are this year on TV, especially from the Hallmark Channel. They are "the very best" when it comes to Holiday Programming! There are also new ones from Lifetime and ABC Family, and a new one premiering on the Gospel Music Channel I am excited about - titled "Christmas with a Capital C". It's a powerful film for Christians and it stars Ted McGinley from The Note. Yeah.... The first official Hallmark Christmas Movie premieres Saturday Night - November 20th, 2010! I love this time of year and just love turning my TV to the Hallmark Channel while I'm busy preparing for Thanksgiving Day or decorating for Christmas... it's just so much fun ~ it absolutely is the Most Wonderful Time of the Year!!!!

PLOT:

Holiday Themed Movie for Hallmark during Christmas-time.

The whimsical tale of a family trying to save the annual tradition...

Angela Fox and her husband, Wayne, together with their children, Hannah and Toby, find themselves on December 23 without a tree, presents or Christmas spirit. Like too many modern families, they have grown apart, too busy with their individual lives and schedules to spend time together, even on the holidays. All of this is about to change when, due to elf error, Santa sets out on the night before Christmas Eve and crashes on the roof of the Fox home. Santa’s sleigh is disabled, his magic gift bag is missing, and even worse, he has amnesia!

Will Christmas be lost or can the Fox family come together and save Christmas and, in the process, their holiday traditions?

With Santa's journey around the world in jeopardy of being cancelled, Toby, who still believes in the magic of Christmas, begs this family to get in the holiday spirit to help jog Santa's memory. As the fate of the holiday rests in their hands, the Foxes must work together to get Santa, and their family, back on track.
