I hope you'll enjoy some of the movies featured here.

My personal picks from the Great American Family 9 movies available above are: A Lot Like Christmas, Fall into Winter, and Catering Christmas! In my opinion, those three movies are not to be missed in the GFAM film library, as all three are entertaining, wholesome, captivating, and most especially, heartwarming!

As for the Reel One Entertainment selections, I have seen all of these Christmas movies, as well, and my personal pick would have to be The Fabric of Christmas, as it is one with excellent chemistry between the leads - from friendship to love, and there is a more unique element to the story that truly touches the heart. However, if you are more in the mood for comedy, then I would suggest Coupled Up for Christmas. Mind you, there is the whole fake boyfriend/girlfriend trope, but it's still a cute movie, and Sara Canning and Marcus Rosner are such fun together!

Please note: I don't know how long these movies will be available to watch, so if something catches your eye, you may want to watch it soon, just in case they happen to disappear. Also, please know that random ads may appear during these streaming movies.

❆Fall Into Winter – I thoroughly enjoyed this family-friendly movie on Great American Family! What a delicious treat! Lori Loughlin is lovely, as always, even when she was working in the kitchen in the candy shop. Seeing her again on my TV screen, felt like a visit with a dear friend. It was such a pleasure to see Lori return in Fall Into Winter, which was heartwarming, engaging, and down-to-earth. This well-written story is more unique than the average romantic-comedy. The tension between Lori’s character, Kerry, and her new business partner, Brooks, played by James Tupper, was amusing and entertaining. The two also have a history from high school, which is an interesting part to their story, that leaves both characters feeling vulnerable over this new partnership. It was reiterated throughout the movie, that this business venture was a fresh start, and I thought that was a wonderful comparison for Lori’s return to acting and this January movie premiere for the New Year. Fall Into Winter is such a cozy, sweet story; I know I will enjoy watching it over and over again. And I was so delighted to see Lori Loughlin again; I can’t wait to see what Great American Family plans with her next! ~Net

Hope you all have a lovely weekend ahead. I'm looking forward to spending time with family and watching the movies with a winter theme. We are currently living in a snow globe here in the Midwest; we didn't get quite the amount of snow our local meteorologists predicted, but we still received a decent snowfall, nearly 5 inches. The roads were plowed rather quickly, and our winds have been relatively calm until today. Thankfully, it has been nothing like the blizzard we had just before Christmas, but we are hearing more is on the way! Everything is brightly covered now in white; the world looks pure and fresh. It's been the perfect packing snow for snowball throwing, sledding, and snowman building.

On Saturday night, I'm looking forward to seeing Lori Loughlin's big return to TV with Fall Into Winter. This is, of course, her second time on Great American Family, but her first time in a lead movie role on the network. (Her first appearance was in When Hope Calls Christmas) I'm wishing her much success with this new movie; we all deserve a second chance. The Lord certainly gives that opportunity to all of us. Both forgiveness and redemption are healing experiences. The Bible tells us, “Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you.” (Ephesians 4:32)

Lori Loughlin recently made a video announcement about her new movie, Fall Into Winter, which will be premiering on Great American Family in the new year... on Saturday, January 28, 2023!

Fall Into Winter tells the story of a woman named Keely, portrayed by Lori Loughlin, who is aghast when her brother sells his half of their family-owned, upscale candy shop to his best friend from high school (and her nemesis, Brooks) forcing a sudden urgency to find connection and common ground. Keely has been hurt before; change is her new nemesis. Brooks’ past is a mirror of Keely’s. He, too, has a fortress around his heart. Fate brings the pair together. Lori's first return to television, after her legal issues were resolved, was on the Great American Family Christmas episodes of the series When Hope Calls during the 2021 holiday season. She portrayed her beloved When Calls the Heart character, Abigail Stanton.

Not only will we be able to see Lori on Great American Family in January 2023... but we will also be able to see her on Hallmark Movies & Mysteries again! Hallmark Movies & Mysteries will be airing a marathon of the Garage Sale Mysteries movies on January 8th! Now, these are all movies that have aired on the channel before, but this is a major deal since Lori's movies have not aired on Hallmark since she was let go from the network back in March 2019. During the summer of 2022, Hallmark's streaming service started airing the mysteries again, but this will be the first time the Garage Sale Mysteries series has returned to TV. I do wonder, at some point, if there are any plans to air the last movie that was filmed, Garage Sale Mystery: Search and Seized, which was released on DVD, but never aired on TV. We'll have to keep a lookout for that one. (In case you're curious, I have a review of Lori's last Garage Sale Mystery movie - here)

Olivia video chat with Erica about Romance, Royalty, & Tropical Islands. Erica asks about Olivia & Prince Alexander or books so, Olivia replies both. Since Prince Alexander’s Mother named Queen Patricia sends Ridley to spy on Prince Alexander in Haven Isles when Winston & Prince Alexander arrive in paradise; “Haven Isles”, for Fundraisers. ~Anonymous

👑 A Prince in Paradise – The story was simple and sweet, a bit cheesy at times, but mostly family-friendly minus some of the wardrobe. The swimsuits worn on the beach were too revealing for my taste, along with Rhiannon’s dress choice for the charity function. Overall, in my opinion, this film is not a stand-out for the royal-themed movies; the romance portion was way too instant. Not a keeper for me, personally, and unfortunately, I cannot recommend it for family viewing based on the clothing choices. ~Net

💕 FROM CHICAGO WITH LOVE Family friendly, I think, although if you are watching with young kiddos, the female lead was moving in together with her fiance before they got married, which could be a questionable value for some. Anyways... some of you know I don't like love triangle romance tropes. I do love both female and male lead. Happy to see Dan Jeannotte again :) I'm not a fan of how the story unfolded and just the whole storyline generally. Too many things going on with the obnoxious and ridiculous influencer and Poppy's career life, plus the fake/real fiance, and the whole wedding planner thing which was taking it way too far and too unrealistic to me. I do love the chemistry and enjoy it when Poppy and Milo are connecting, but to me it's hard to feel good about their fake romance development while Poppy was also still engaged, no matter how indifferent her fiance was. Also, I couldn't stand that influencer lady. So dramatic and manipulative, and then all of a sudden she came to game night?! This is a one time watch for me, but I do hope we will see Dan Jeannotte and Rebecca Liddiard again in another movie. ~CH Mom

❄ Fall Into Winter – I sooo enjoyed this family-friendly movie on Great American Family! What a delicious treat! Lori Loughlin is lovely, as always, even when she was working in the kitchen in the candy shop. Seeing her again on my TV screen, felt like a visit with a dear old friend. It was such a pleasure to see Lori return in Fall Into Winter, which was heartwarming, engaging, and down-to-earth. This well-written story is more unique than the average rom-com. The tension between Lori’s character, Kerry, and her new business partner, Brooks, played by James Tupper, was amusing and entertaining. The two also have a history from high school, which is an interesting part to their story, which leaves both characters feeling vulnerable over this new partnership. It was reiterated throughout the movie, that this business venture was a fresh start, and I thought that was a wonderful comparison for Lori’s return to acting and this January movie premiere for the New Year. Fall Into Winter is such a cozy, sweet story; I know I will enjoy watching it over and over again. And I was so delighted to see Lori Loughlin again; I can’t wait to see what Great American Family plans with her next! ~Net
