DEMOLITION GIRL (UP Premiere Movie) – Inspired by a true story, Maggie, 18, lives in rural Louisiana. Pretty, extremely smart and a tomboy through and through, Maggie's hobbies are riding a dirt bike and rebuilding engines. She has also received a full scholarship to Harvard in the fall. Hank, Maggie's dad, is a hard-working blue collar guy who wants more for his daughter. Even though he taught Maggie to drive and work on cars when she was eight, he is upset when she announces that she is going to postpone college to enter the Mud Race in her own mud truck and beat all the guys who don't think girls should be racing. STARS, STRIPES AND ACCESSORIES (UP Premiere Movie) – Amanda Morton is at a crossroads in her life – her boyfriend has broken up with her because she is not serious enough and she has lost her job because she is not ambitious enough. She is at rock bottom when she sees an ad on TV for the Army. She heads to the recruiting office and becomes the ultimate fish out of water. Premiere Date: to be announced.


MOTHERS OF THE BRIDE (UP Premiere Movie) – Jenna Wolf is getting married to her long-time boyfriend, Christopher. Jenna is extremely close to her mother, Debra, who told her at an early age that she was adopted. Now that she is getting married, Jenna would like to find her birth mother and share her happy news. Much to everyone's surprise, Jenna's biological mom is a famous event planner. Debra, who dreamed of planning her daughter's wedding, now finds herself competing with a professional for control of the wedding and Jenna is right in the middle of her two moms. Having traded in her dreams of becoming a professional singer to care for her aging parents and their neighborhood hardware store, Jessica (Debbie Gibson) is asked to step in as choir director for a failing church as they prepare for their the big centennial celebration. When she arrives, Jessica is shocked to discover that the choir can't sing and that the Church Deaconess (Gloria Reuben) is betting on her to fail. During the process, Jessica builds a friendship with church handyman Ben (Antonio Cupo) and is challenged by choir member and teen runaway Alice (Amy Forsyth). Through their friendship and her work with the choir, she rekindles her love of music and finally finishes the song she's been struggling with for many years – ultimately finding love and the music career she's always dreamed of pursuing.

Change the Date! Hallmark Channel's 'WHEN CALLS THE HEART' Premiere has been Moved!

The Hallmark Channel certainly "struck gold" with WHEN CALLS THE HEART, the TV series centered around the small mining community of Coal Valley.

Since the day the first season aired, on January 11th, 2014, the series has drawn a large following of fans and followers, who joined together as a group, calling themselves the "Hearties", in support of this wonderful family TV series. Due to their continued support, the series was renewed for a second season.

Originally, Season 2 of WHEN CALLS THE HEART was set to premiere - one episode on April 4th at 9 PM, but now you will need to CHANGE THE DATE TO Saturday, April 25th, 2015! Plus, the premiere will now be 2 hours, Part 1 and Part 2 of the Episode "Trials of the Heart", starting at 8 PM/7c.!

So, WCTH not only has a new date, but also a new time! I am rather glad, especially that the time was changed - I always thought 8 would be a better time for family viewing and I'm glad the Hallmark Channel thought so, too!

Hallmark Movies & Mysteries announces Emmy® Award and Golden Globe Award winner Tom Selleck will return as the popular Jesse Stone in the ninth installment of the famed movie detective series “Jesse Stone: Lost In Paradise,” slated to premiere exclusively on the network in Fall 2015. The movie, produced by Brandman Productions, Inc.,TWS Productions II and Sony Pictures Television is in pre-production in Halifax, Nova Scotia. The popular Jesse Stone films, based on the bestselling books by Robert B. Parker, chronicle the cases of fictional Police Chief Jesse Stone of Paradise, Massachusetts, a respected and well-liked cop whose life is complicated equally by alcohol and his relationship with his ex-wife.

Previous installments of the “Jesse Stone” franchise have aired on broadcast television. Hallmark Movies & Mysteries has been the home of cable premieres of “Jesse Stone,” which produced some of the network’s top ratings. This is the first time “Jesse Stone” films will be made exclusively for air on Hallmark Movies & Mysteries.

“Jesse Stone: Lost In Paradise” is produced by Brandman Productions, Inc. and TWS Productions II in association with Sony Pictures Television. My thoughts:
I think this is fantastic news! I first heard about it in early January and was thrilled. Tom Selleck is a wonderful actor, (*Magnum P.I., 3 Men & a Baby, Blue Bloods, etc...*) and mystery is an ideal format for him... which perfectly suits Hallmark Movies & Mysteries! Unfortunately, I am not familiar with all the 'Jesse Stone' movies, but I do look forward to seeing this all new adventure, in the 'Jesse Stone' series - coming this fall!

When we left Coal Valley last...

What joys, sorrows, adventures, mishaps, and inspirational stories await us in Season 2?

We must wait and see...
