πŸŽ„❤️ Lacey Chabert to Reunite with 'Party of Five' Co-Star Scott Wolf for Hallmark's *Countdown to Christmas* ❤️πŸŽ„

There is some exciting reunion news today for Lacey Chabert and Scott Wolf, who starred together in the hit drama series Party of Five from 1994 to 2000.

Lacey Chabert and Scott Wolf will star, as brother and sister again (of course!), in Hallmark Channel's A Merry Scottish Christmas!

According to tvinsider.com, in this new Hallmark Christmas film, "when estranged siblings Lindsay (Chabert) and Brad (Wolf) travel to Scotland at Christmas to reunite with their mother Jo (Fiona Bell), a big family secret is revealed."

You may recall Actress Fiona Bell, who will portray Lacey and Scott's mother, also portrayed Fiona Gubelmann's mother in the Hallmark Channel original movie, Royally Ever After.

Since Scott Wolf starred in his own Hallmark movie, A Christmas Love Story, back in 2019, there's been talk of wanting to reunite him and Lacey for a Hallmark movie together. Thankfully, they chose the brother-sister route for their storyline and not love interests. I think it's very natural for us all to see Scott and Lacey in that loving sibling relationship, even though it sounds like there may be some distance between the two as this movie begins - that has nothing to do with geography.

Lacey Chabert shared this wonderful movie news on Instagram and included this delightful caption:

"A dream come true! I’m so thrilled to be reuniting with one of my dearest friends @iamscottwolf for a very special @hallmarkchannel #CountdownToChristmas movie! We are having so much fun filming #AMerryScottishChristmas and can’t wait to share it with you this holiday season! πŸŽ„❤️πŸŽ„❤️"

The premiere date for A Merry Scottish Christmas is currently TBA (to be announced!), but if I had to guess, it will likely be Thanksgiving weekend. So... book your reservations now to watch this new Christmas movie! (Just a little Party of Five pun, since the series revolved around their family-owned restaurant.)

Have a Merry Day, Everyone!

I hope you all enjoy the Christmas movies airing this week. "Swept Up by Christmas" is a feel-good Hallmark movie; our friend Jane reviewed it as "a sweet, cozy, gentle Christmas movie that's a keeper" and I absolutely agree!

If you like comedy best, "Never Kiss a Man in a Christmas Sweater" is certainly a super fun, cheerful Christmas movie! In fact, more of our friends confirmed this with their reviews... Namegirl shared it was one of her favorites and kitkat said "Ashley Williams and Niall Matter are great together!" See more reviews of 2020 Christmas movies *HERE*!

"Picking Up and Dropping Off" is a Christmas movie that first premiered in 2003 on ABCFamily. From what I am remembering of the movie, it is family friendly, but it's been quite some time since I've seen it. Do any of you recall watching it? "Picking Up and Dropping Off" also aired a few years back on INSP during the holidays and they are well known for airing wholesome programming. The movie stars actor Scott Wolf, from the 90's TV drama series "Party of Five" and the Hallmark Hall of Fame Christmas movie, "A Christmas Love Story."

Happy Christmas movie watching!

I hope you all enjoy this first full weekend of December! There are certainly lots of new holiday movies to put you into the Christmas spirit! I'll probably be busy Christmas shopping, etc... on Saturday, but I plan to watch some new movies over the weekend with my family, too!

Must see for me, personally, this weekend is ALL of the Hallmark musical movies. I just love music and singing... so the combination of a musical movie, for me, is heavenly! How I wish I could binge watch all the movies all at once, but I'm sure I'll have to record many to watch later on.

With a song in my heart...

via ION press release: In "Meet My Valentine," Tom (Wolf) pulls out all the stops to take care of the two women in his life: his 8-year-old daughter, Phoebe, and his wife, Valentine (Ford), before confiding in her that he only has months to live. In tying up loose ends for his beloved spouse, Tom thinks of everything, even embarking upon an audition process to find his most worthy successor. Throughout the ordeal, Tom quickly realizes that he doesn't know much about her anymore, but soon finds himself falling in love again with Valentine like it was the very first time.

Movie Review:

Meet My Valentine was a pleasant film, tinged with deep sadness. In the movie, Tom (portrayed by Scott Wolf) has been diagnosed with a terminal brain tumor and has only months to live. He decides not to tell his wife, Valentine, or his young daughter, Phoebe.

Instead, he enlists his comedian brother, who is the only one he has confided in, into helping him find the perfect man to replace him, as a husband & father. Tom and his brother come up with this on-line dating scheme to meet potential matches for Val, which sets the two up for a dose of reality when they meet some unique potential on-line suitors.

While trying to find the perfect man to be a husband and father to his family, Tom looks deeper into all of his wife's interest and the two, who had been drifting slowly apart, are now becoming closer than ever, making the true situation and pain of what is to come, even worse for Tom.

Please know the end of this Review Contains Spoilers:

Tom thinks a close friend, Michael, and co-worker of Val's may be the suitable replacement, but no promises are made.

Through the course of time, Tom's condition becomes even more apparent to Val, who has been suspicious of there being something wrong. In the end, he shares the truth with her.

It is a bittersweet ending, with a balding Tom, due to chemotherapy, sitting in a wheelchair on the porch, surrounded by family and friends, watching his daughter Phoebe, learn to ride her bike, with Michael being the one to give her the push.

See or Skip:

This story may help those who are going through this situation, or those, who have had a loss.

Please know this subject matter is not intended for young children and there is some brief strong language in it, especially at the end, when Tom is angry, and coming to terms with his illness and the impact it has on his family.
