THE GREAT CHRISTMAS SWITCH

Starring Sarah Lind and Dillon Casey

Premieres: Saturday, November 6, 2021 at 8pm ET/PT

In “The Great Christmas Switch,” Kaelynn and Sophia are identical twins who have grown up believing the other has the more glamorous life. Kaelynn sometimes feels unappreciated in her non-stop world of kids and to do’s. Sophia is laid back to the point of paralysis and cannot seem to assemble the basics of life, including a healthy work/life balance and evolved relationships. When Sophia tells her twin she’s had to cancel her Christmas vacation to stay in San Diego to work, Kaelynn jumps at the chance to flee the frost of Ohio to take her sister’s place. With her sister’s kids with their dad for Christmas, Sophia believes her only job will be to watch holiday movies by the fire. Kaelynn feels confident her demanding day-to-day has prepared her for Sophia’s grinchy boss and flaky friends. Then, reality sets in! With the familiar turned upside down, it will take a Christmas miracle to make it all right again.

“The Great Christmas Switch” is executive produced by Brad Krevoy, Eric Jarboe, Amy Krell, Lorenzo Nardini, Amanda Phillips, Jimmy Townsend, Micheline Blais, and Susie Belzberg. Producer is David Anselmo. Supervising Producers are Byron Martin, Michael Beard, and Michael Shepherd. Associate Producers are Bonnie Adams and Kaitlyn Greenough. In “Royally Wrapped for Christmas,” Lindsay Peterson (Lilley) of Brooklyn, NY, heads up one of the most successful chapters of the Festive Heart Foundation, a philanthropic organization dedicated to underserved children and founded by the Royal Family of Veronia. The foundation will commemorate its centennial this holiday and Lindsay is summoned to the kingdom to plan the celebratory gala. Before she embarks to Veronia, Lindsay meets the charity’s President, Willard, and a pleasant man, Aiden (Fehr), who Lindsay mistakenly believes is the organization’s accountant. Willard persuades Lindsay to join him and two other organizers from the global charity in Veronia. It is there Lindsay discovers the “accountant” is really Crown Prince Aiden who is to ascend the throne after his mother, Queen Rayna. Committed to the mission of the charity, Lindsay proposes a new idea based on a tradition she learned from her grandmother: each Christmas, two gifts must be given. One to keep, one to give. Veronia’s Parliament enthusiastically accepts Lindsay’s proposal for the charity, vowing to change the world in the kindest way. Now Prince Aiden must decide if the commoner from New York who has helped so many may have just stolen his heart.

Emma is an organized assistant, but her job is a dead end in need of a turnaround and her real dream is to be a singer. Tyler is going home for Christmas for the first time in years after abruptly quitting his label. First, Emma and Tyler have a friendship to repair. 🔎 May 2021 Hallmark Mystery Movie Premieres - A Martha's Vineyard Mystery and Morning Show Mysteries! 🔎 Get the Scoop Here:

Get ready for more sleuthing with Jesse Metcalfe, Sarah Lind, Holly Robinson Peete and mystery movie newcomer, Colin Lawrence - with two all new Mystery Movie Premieres this May on Hallmark Movies & Mysteries.

See all of the movie details below...

🔎🔎🔎🔎🔎

Movie: Poisoned in Paradise: A Martha's Vineyard Mystery

Premiere Date: Sunday, May 16, 2021

Starring: Jesse Metcalfe and Sarah Lind

Storyline via Hallmark: When a waitress seeking Jeff’s help is poisoned, he must uncover the mysterious plot she’d tried to warn him about to solve her murder. Jeff’s (Metcalfe) reputation for “unofficially” solving the island’s most dangerous crimes is growing. When Katie (Britt McKillip, Trick ‘r Treat), a young waitress, finds herself way in over her head with the wrong people, she shows up seeking his help. Jeff urges her to go directly to the police but she’s too scared to follow through. When Katie sadly turns up dead – murdered by poison – Jeff wonders if he could have helped her and the crime becomes personal for him. Teamed up with Zee (Lind), he must unravel the dangerous plot Katie had tried to warn him about to catch her killer. The shocking case leaves Jeff and Zee little time to discuss the kiss they had shared in Boston and what it means for their relationship. Meanwhile, the mystery back in Boston deepens when Jeff and Andy (Nelson Wong, “Riverdale”) seem close to catching the person who shot Jeff, until an FBI agent shows up and takes over, shutting them out.

Reviews:

🔎 "Wanted to let all you mystery fans out their know that the new Martha’s Vineyard mystery is family-friendly. Yay!" ~Anonymous

🔎 "I watched the new Martha’s Vineyard mystery and really enjoyed it. Loved the duel mystery that was going on - with a new murder on the island, plus, new issues arose with Jeff's own unsolved shooting case. There was also a little tension between Jeff and Zee, but I still enjoyed their back and forth chemistry. Also loved that it was a family friendly sort of mystery." ~Net

🔎 "Loved the new mystery with Jesse Metcalfe! I will give Jesse a standing ovation for his acting abilities." ~kitkat

Movie: Morning Show Mysteries: Murder Ever After

Premiere Date: Sunday, May 23, 2021

Starring: Holly Robinson Peete and Colin Lawrence

Storyline via Hallmark: Following a shocking find in an old friend’s basement, TV host Billie Blessings (Robinson Peete) works with new-to-town detective Tyrell Hunter (Lawrence) to unearth a dark secret that threatens to unravel the lives of the most powerful people in her city.

Review:

🔎 "The new Morning Show Mystery "Murder Ever After" is mostly family-friendly. The mystery's backstory includes cheating characters (nothing shown at all), and there was a brief moment of slightly off-color dialogue between detectives, for those looking for content warnings. I like the new detective and thought the huge storyline changes in the series were handled well, although I would love to see Ian, his daughter, Maurice, and Feathers return sometime! At least Aunt Cassandra is still there, along with the colorful crew at the morning show. :-) This one had me guessing and I'm thrilled Hallmark is keeping the mysteries coming!" ~Alicia

🔎🔎🔎🔎🔎

Please note: Typically, the mystery movies (due to some violence) are best suited for ages 12 and up. If you'd like to add a review, on whether a film is family-friendly, please share in comments below.

You'll probably notice Rick Fox is no longer on "Morning Show Mysteries." There is a new detective in town, Tyrell Hunter, played by actor Colin Lawrence ("Christmas in Evergreen").

Happy sleuthing! Net

"Yay! Jesse Metcalfe’s new mystery movie I saw family friendly! I know we have all been anxiously awaiting this next installment and first mystery movie of the year, but with Hallmark’s recent turn against family friendly content I was nervous about the new movie.
