Hope you find something you would like to see this Christmas! Last year CBS premiered 2 NEW Christmas movies, A Christmas Proposal and Christmas Takes Flight. I want to inform you, the movie, A Christmas Proposal, has a gay character. I didn't catch Christmas Takes Flight last year, but our It's a Wonderful Movie friend, Maria, shared this review:

πŸŽ„"Christmas takes Flight (CBS) After what happened with A Christmas Proposal, I was a bit skeptical about this one. But this one turned out to be really good!! This movie is fun, adorable, and best of all: family friendly! I definitely recommend this one." -Maria

Get ready for the Christmas glow,
which is as shiny as Rudolph's bright red nose!!!

Have a Merry day!!! Net

My *Quick* Take:

I love that this story is centered around saving a Drive-In Movie Theater. Have you ever been to one or do you still know one in your state? The drive-in I've always gone to is still going strong. We've heard rumors through the years that it might close, but it's still there. I love when I drive by and check out the marquee of what's airing. I've been to it numerous times through the years. It's such a different experience then being in the theater. I sure hope they will be able to save the one in the Danica's new movie, too!

Merry Blessings to you all, Net

Starring: Danica McKellar and Neal Bledsoe

Movies Reviews:

❄ "The Winter Palace is: Awesome!! A perfect 10!! I highly recommend it to anyone!" -Maria

❄ "I am happy to say that the Winter Palace film was 100% family friendly clean. It really was a sweet film and Danica was great and fun as usual. Loved the scene when the prince made his first cooked meal and served it to the staff. Made me laugh. I hope you all get to enjoy it. God bless❤" ~Abigail

❄ "THE WINTER PALACE (GAC) Family friendly. Royal movies are not really my favorite, but sometimes there are a few that I enjoy. This will be an unpopular opinion for sure, but unfortunately, this one was just alright. I felt this movie was a little too pretentious. I just couldn't get past the royal-ish attitude ("the schedule"). The two leads lacked chemistry to be honest. I do love Danica and think she was great in this, but I personally didn't feel that she was a good pair with Neal Bledsoe." ~CH Mom

❄ "Happy New Year New Movies! I absolutely loved The Winter Palace. I do not have GAC but some of their movies are on Prime, and I was thrilled that this one was. I loved the plot, the characters, and Danica and Neal together again were even better than the first time. Also important, family friendly!" ~Savvy Girl

❄ "It was fun to see Danica and Neal together again in "The Winter Palace!" Loved them in their Hallmark Christmas movie, "Coming Home for Christmas." This movie is very sweet, as well. I liked how Danica’s character, Emily, a struggling writer, accidentally meets the prince at his Winter Palace... and the two gradually begin to fall in love. But since she’s not royalty, it’s not meant to be. Can true love find a way? There is, of course, a happy ending to this family friendly story. It was such an enjoyable watch!" ~Net

❄❄❄❄❄❄❄❄❄❄

My Quick Take:

I'm so delighted that GAC Family is continuing the tradition of creating winter-themed movies in January. Hopefully, this will be the first of many for this new network.

It's also nice to see Danica McKellar and Neal Bledsoe working together again; I personally thought they were wonderful together in Hallmark's Countdown to Christmas movie, Coming Home for Christmas, from 2017! They had terrific chemistry then, and from all the promotions I've seen for The Winter Palace, it looks like they will have the same connection here.

If you'd like to share a review after this movie premieres, please do so in comments below and I'll be sure to add it to this post.

Blessings to you all!
Warm wishes, Net
