Some of you may have noticed that I don't typically share streaming movie details because, let's face it, there are lots of options out there, but I made an exception with this one since some of these Christmas movies typically wind up on TV (it could be a year or two later, though!), and I thought some of you might be interested in checking them out early.

Plus, three of the films are from Imagicomm Entertainment and INSP Films, and since they have made many wonderful family films in the past, I'm looking forward to all three of their new ones this year! Debuting on Thanksgiving day, the 2023 original film Christmas with the Foxes will feature actors Gina Vitori, Max Budroe, Patrick M.J. Finerty among others. The story follows a family gathering together for their annual family Christmas party which began 50 years prior. Rebecca Fox (Vitori) arrives at the party to find her father Thomas (Finerty) involved with a new woman, not even a year after her mother’s passing. In her comical efforts to derail the romance during a marathon of Christmas events, she stumbles upon her own unexpected love story.

NEW YORK – October 6, 2022 – FOX Nation will offer its subscribers a new original Christmas film entitled “Christmas at The Greenbrier,” announced Jason Klarman, president of the streaming service. Premiering on Thursday, November 24th, the second feature film from FOX Nation will be based at the iconic luxury resort, The Greenbrier, in West Virginia. The platform will also expand its library of holiday content in celebration of the upcoming Christmas season with several additional feature-length acquisitions.

In making the announcement, Klarman said, “We are ecstatic to mark the upcoming holiday season with the release of our second original film and provide our subscribers with a top-tier offering in a genre we know they love. The Greenbrier was an ideal setting to bring this movie to life and we’re incredibly proud of the product.”

Available on Thanksgiving, the 2022 film “Christmas at The Greenbrier” will feature Emmy nominated actress Alicia Leigh Willis, who plays a widowed mother named Abby, and Josh Murray, who plays a former professional football player Ben. The two, who dated previously but ended their relationship when Ben turned pro, unexpectedly reunite during a stay at The Greenbrier and spend time together enjoying the magical holiday activities that resort has to offer. Abby is hesitant as she has not dated anyone since her husband died and wants to protect her son Carter from another heartbreak. This forces Ben to do some soul searching to discover where his priorities lie, his career or true love.

Additionally, four festive titles will be made available on the platform beginning in November:

Country Roads Christmas: The daughter of a country singer finds forgiveness and love when she loses her job at a record label and is urged to reunite with her famous father as his road manager. (Dropping 11/27/2022)

Christmas in Wolf Creek: After a runaway reindeer threatens the annual holiday play, a couple struggling to maintain their relationship must work together to save Christmas for the town and each other. (Dropping 12/4/2022)

Christmas in Rockwell: A famous Hollywood actress returns to her hometown where she is enlisted to participate in a Christmas play which threatens her small peaceful village with the chaos of Hollywood. (Dropping 12/11/2022)

Fox Nation recently put out a press release announcing they, too, would be making original movies, including one based on a book by author, Nancy Naigle, well-known for her Hallmark movies: Christmas in Evergreen, Christmas Joy, Christmas in Evergreen: Letters to Santa, The Secret Ingredient, Sand Dollar Cove, etc...

I don't always share movies that are available via streaming because the volume of them is enormous, but since this new movie had a Hallmark connection and Nancy's novel debuted on the Evangelical Christians Publishers Association bestseller list, I thought many of you would be interested.

Fox Nation is planning even more movies, with one, at least, being a Christmas movie!

2 Months until Christmas, Plus News on 2 Christmas Movies!

For those of us who've been wondering about the movie, CHRISTMAS IN THE WILDS, the sequel to the movie, Romance in the Wilds, that recently premiered on UPtv... news has been revealed through wrap.com.

Wrap is reporting: "Fox Nation, one of Fox News Media’s three streamers, is celebrating an “All-American Christmas” this year with the release of two new Christmas Movies. “Christmas in the Wilds” and “Christmas in the Pines” will both be available exclusively on the platform beginning on Thanksgiving, which falls Nov. 25."
