The weekend is here again, friends!
I hope this lovely mid-March weekend finds you all doing well and enjoying a little relaxation!
I’m especially excited for the all-new Nelly Knows Mystery starring two of my favorites, Pascale Hutton and Kavan Smith! Sleuthing is always intriguing and fascinating... but it’s even more delightful when the movie stars such a fun and charming duo!
Meanwhile, When Calls the Heart is airing a new episode that centers on the big trial over who started the fire. With just one episode left after this, the suspense is building! Let’s hope Christopher Gowan makes his way back to Hope Valley to testify.
And over on Crossroad Springs, Maggie, James, and the town prepare for a special open mic night at the Daisy Mae Café to support the new Cowboy Church. This gathering brings many from the community together, even Daniel Newman, through music, fellowship, and faith! 🎶
See all the details below...

Great lineup this weekend! Can’t believe there’s only 2 episodes of WCTH left!!!! Christie
ReplyDeleteI know!!! It’s going so fast, but it’s been really good!! Every year the writers, actors, and the wardrobe and setting crew amaze me more and more!
DeleteChristie & Abigail, Hope you both enjoyed the new episode. I noticed there were several special, truly meaningful, scenes in this show between fathers and sons - Joseph and Cooper, Henry and Christopher, and (like a father) Nathan and LJ.
Delete*SPOILER ALERT*
I'm totally invested in Joseph's reaction to Christopher asking for forgiveness and Joseph walking away while Cooper later tells his father he is willing to give it. And I also loved when Cooper gently preached his father's own sermon back to him about forgiveness.
The trial went the way I imagined, but I loved seeing the Hope Valley side band together through it. Rosemary, as always, was so fun, and the dramatic end with Christopher making a surprise return was perfect!
*SPOILER ALERT END*
Can't wait for the finale this coming Sunday, but I also don't want it to end. Having 12 episodes, though, is quite a blessing! And, it's so nice that we already have the reassurance of another season next year! :)
Wow! I love the WCTH Forgiveness episodes and this one was great! The scene with Cooper was so special. Was hard not to tear up and I loved all the courtroom scenes!!
DeleteLots to watch this weekend.
ReplyDeleteThe new Nelly Knows Mystery: All Manners of Murder is super fun. Pascale & Kavan are great, as usual.
ReplyDeleteAllie B, Thank you so much for sharing this! So glad you enjoyed the new mystery! :)
DeleteNelly Knows Mystery: All Manners of Murder review.
ReplyDeleteThis mystery was soooo much fun! I loved how Nelly and Michael were a team and was known to the other that they liked each other. Had the Clue game feeling and who doesn’t love hidden passageways!!! Plus fam-friendly!! Good who dun it as well!! And was neat combining different shows together. What a blast!!
Also, I wanted to mention as much as it was great to see Crystal Lowe. It also made me sad for her in what she’s going through. Her character wasn’t her Cheerful and bright Rita self that I’m used to seeing. I know she was playing the tired and stressed character this time, but in reality she’s got to be feeling the same. I couldn’t help but pray for her while for watching. Let’s all continue to pray for the treatments to be successful and for the Lord to bring comfort to her and most importantly Salvation in Christ.
DeleteHope you all saw the trailer for Fox's 'The Faithful' during last night's Crossroad Springs! It looks amazing! -Maria
ReplyDeleteCrossroad Springs was so good! I think the acting and script continues to get better each time, and there are a lot of interesting storylines with each character. I really love Maggie's clothes! Net, I keep hoping your sister will list some on her site!
ReplyDeleteAlso really loved the Nellys Knows Mystery! I think Pascale is an amazing actress. And even though she is my favorite on WCTH, I can forget she is "Rosemary" in her movies--I think that says a lot! Kavan too, they are such a great pair on both shows.
