Haul Out the Halloween ... Hallmark Channel ... 8pm *NEW
Haul Out the Halloween Storyline: New, Halloween-obsessed neighbors inspire residents of Evergreen Lane to haul out their spookiest costumes and dΓ©cor to become EverSCREAM Lane.
*Please note: I don’t typically feature Halloween movies or programs here, but I know many will want to see this third film in the series. I’m hoping it focuses on the lighthearted, fun side of the holiday and steers clear of anything dark or unsettling.
I also wanted to briefly mention that "Haunted Harmony Mysteries: Buried at C" will be airing Sunday night on the Hallmark Channel. I personally won’t be watching this one, as one of the main characters is a ghost. I just wanted to note it here, in case anyone wonders why it wasn’t promoted.

The Dove Awards airs Friday Night on TBN!
Season 2 of When Hope Calls has been nominated for Television Series of the Year, along with these other nominees: God. Family. Football., House of David, Jesus: Refugee, Renegade, Redeemer with Bear Grylls, and The Chosen!
Also, be sure to look for Candace Cameron Bure, who will be presenting one of the awards.
The Dove Awards airs exclusively on TBN and the TBN+ App on Friday, October 10th at 7:30pm and again at 10pm ET. The program will also be simulcast on SiriusXM The Message.
There’s also an encore airing of the program the following Friday, October 17th, at the same times.
Saturday, October 11, 2025:

Storyline: "A pastry chef (Leclerc) returns home to Door County, Wis., for Christmas and finds that saving her family's orchard — and her heart — may depend on the perfect pie and a second chance at love."
Sunday, October 12, 2025:

Storyline: A corporate jingle writer is on the verge of abandoning her songwriting dreams for good when she mistakenly hands over an old love song to the man who broke her heart, a famous country singer looking for his next hit.
π✨ What a Merry Weekend we have ahead with all of these Christmas classics and a new holiday movie premiere!
If you’d like to share your thoughts on the new films, or just want to join in the festive chat, please leave a comment below!
A quick note: I haven’t pre-screened the new movies airing this weekend, so if you’d like to share whether a film is family-friendly, your input would be such a gift to all of us here.
And for those of you wondering... yes, I’ll be putting together a special post featuring reviews from all of the Christmas movies as they come in!
Thank you so much to everyone who takes the time to share. It truly means a lot!

"Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights, who does not change like shifting shadows."
I watched A Wisconsin Christmas Pie on Pure Flix and found it to be full of all the Christmas feels! I must admit, I didn’t have super high expectations because I don’t usually enjoy the acquired movies as much as the GAF produced movies and I am not familiar with these actors. However, I am happy to say that this movie is top-notch! The actors have great chemistry, the storyline pulled at my heartstrings, and the Door County setting is stunning! This movie put me right in the mood to start the Christmas season. Great American Family is off to a festive start and I loved A Wisconsin Christmas Pie! It is one of those movies you can enjoy watching over and over! Gena
ReplyDeleteGena, Thank you so much for being the *FIRST* Christmas movie review for the 2025 Holiday Season! I so enjoyed reading your thoughts on A Wisconsin Christmas Pie, and now I'm so looking forward to seeing it, too. (By the way, I know just what you mean about acquired movies, but sometimes, they can surprise us in a good way, too, and I'm so glad to hear this one did that for you!)
DeleteHappy Christmas Movie Watching! Net :)
I am so excited for another year of Christmas Movies and reading reviews here! I don't always have time to comment but I do appreciate the reviews and the lists of family friendly movies. I am going to record the movies and watch them while wrapping and writing out cards.
ReplyDeleteMaire, Thank you so much for commenting today! Please feel free to share whenever you can. I'm so glad you enjoy the reviews here. The *It's a Wonderful Movie* family is such a blessing!!! :)

ReplyDeletekitkat, By your special request... I have brought back the Christmas lights!!! Enjoy!!! It really is so sweet of you to notice they were missing and to comment. Just knowing you look forward to them every year touches my heart.
DeleteBlessings to you! Net
Can you hear those joyous jingle bells ringing? Yes Net, I do hear them now! The faint sound is getting louder and louder.
ReplyDeleteJim, Thank you for sharing in the excitement on this joyous day!!! Joy to the World!!! :)

I love your post today, Net, and the scripture! I’ve been watching the Christmas movies since early this morning on GAF. The promos in between breaks have been great.
ReplyDeleteI’ll be watching the new movie tomorrow night and I’ll record the new Haul out the Holly movie to watch later. I don’t usually watch Halloween movies either, so hopefully this is fun and like you said, not dark. I won’t watch if it includes that.
Thank you for doing the reviews again this year. I know it must be an awful lot of work to keep up with them during the Christmas season, but I really rely on them now every Christmas. Thanks to all who contribute. Christie
Christie, Aww, thank you so much!
DeleteI love hearing that you’ve been watching the Christmas movies on GAF all day! Me, too! I agree, the promos have all been so uplifting!
As you know, I’m right there with you about "Haul Out the Halloween." I'm also hoping it’s lighthearted fun and not spooky at all!
It means the world to know you enjoy the reviews and find them helpful. It is quite the flurry of activity keeping up with everything this time of year, but hearing kind words like yours makes it all worthwhile.
Wishing you a blessed start to this Christmas season! Net
